"Absolutely incredible hotel! The staff pay very very close attention to small details – little things that make your travel experience exceptional. Simple things like your young daughter has wet hair in the restaurant – the staff will bring a towel. you have sunburn and the staff will direct you to the coconut oil. If you have a baby, a member of staff will help you to look after the baby as you have breakfast – this is not a free baby minding service. This is just kindness. The staff pay attention to you and attention to small details to make your stay easier. The staff are exceptional! If your children leave their swimming kit by the pool, they’ll fold it nicely and put it ready for your collection in the main restaurant.  Things we as a family liked (I’m filling this in with my kids) : 1) Great food- beautiful presented and delicious.- tasty buffet style breakfast. Local and European food. 2) Ice cream - including raspberry sorbet 3) Fantastic pool facing the beach. Stunning. Great sunset. 4) Rooms with an incredible view. We had the hilltop view. Excellent amount of space, balcony and house keeping. No issues with water pressure as another customer had previously stated. 5) Really lovely vibe. Beautifully set out facilities. 6) Friendly family place- all the kids played together in a multi national team. 7) Peaceful and calm. Not noisy. 8) Gorgeous beach- perfect to swim in. Kayaks etc also available. 9) walking distance to the beautiful pier with a coral reef along the beach when the tide is out. 10) The resort has everything you need. I would 100 % stay again! "Great location, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and just 50m from the beach. Free taxi service to and from the port was a huge plus. The staff were incredibly helpful; we asked for a scooter and it was ready for us within a minute, no deposit or fuel/scratch checks needed when returning it. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed in an industrial style – we felt right at home and very well looked after. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. Highly recommend!"

"We had an amazing 4 night stay at the Mak Trat and I can’t begin to say how wonderful, new, clean and well kept this place is. We arranged a hotel pick up from the Ao Nid port and within 5-10 of our arrival they came to pick us up, and took our luggage straight to the room. The villas are extremely charming and the beds are very very very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious as well and the food at their own restaurant, and the amenities like the swimming pool area are very clean, beautiful and inviting. The staff is very kind and helpful informing you about day trips and also, you can rent a scooter at the hotel itself. We’re in love with this place I would 100% stay there again. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed on February 17, 2025 in Sunset Bungalow No. 6 The friendly staff greeted us, we left our things at the reception and went for a walk along the beach, since it was still too early to check in. The beach amazed us with its beauty, but the entrance to the water was a bit rocky. We took a kayak and swam near the shore, snorkeled and it was time to check in. The bungalow had a pleasant fresh clean aroma, flowers were laid out on the bed and welcome drinks were waiting for us. The view was incredibly beautiful, I am attaching a photo. There were drinks and snacks in the room, which is very convenient, since it is quite scary to walk to the shops at night. I especially liked the kitchen and the bar, the cocktails were quite well prepared. For breakfast, we were given a questionnaire to fill out where we could indicate our food preferences. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, you will understand everything from the photos) This hotel has touched our hearts, we will definitely come back again."

"I really liked the hotel for its warm welcome and friendly staff. It is possible to rent a motorbike without a deposit, buy a transfer to other islands, you will be met from the pier and taken away for free by minibus. For breakfast they offer several options of egg dishes, something with noodles, waffles / pancakes, fresh fruit. Very tasty. The hotel is located on a hill, there is no beach. At the nearest hotel Cococape, the entrance to the territory with a cozy bar on the pier costs 200 baht per person. If you stay here, rent a bike (200-300 baht / day) or a golf cart (1000 baht / day) to ride along different beaches and have dinner. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, but the price is too high. A room with a garden and a terrace is actually a small balcony that rests against a fence. Beach towels are fluffy and smell nice, but the towels in the room are completely gray. Beautiful view from the pool"

"Это замечательный отель! Один минус- рядом с Пирсом. Все остальное просто восхитительно! И то, что с пирсом нисколько не испортило нам отдых. Вода чистая, прозрачная, коралловый риф рядом. А самое главное, можно купаться и заплывать далеко, риф не мешает. В отеле все сделано с любовью. Очень удобные домики прям на берегу, с прекрасным видом. Домики комфортные, есть холодильник, чайник, дают воду и кофе каждый день. Особенно мне понравилась душевая кабина, отдельно от туалета, очень большая, плотно закрывается, это так редко в Таиланде. В кафе при отеле вкусно готовят. Пляж целый день чистят, украшают ракушками. Спасибо хозяину Михаилу и его жене. Михаил поляк, но немного говорит по русски. Это облегчало наше прибывание там."
