"The location of the hotel is very good, just near the highway exit and 5 minutes away from the airport. The price-performance ratio is very high. There are many restaurants around and it is next to a gas station. It is not very noisy except for the sound of airplanes. The breakfast is relatively simple, but the price-performance ratio is good. Good review!"

"I enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind."

"The room was very spacious, bright and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. For example, the smoke alarm in the room I stayed in at night was inexplicably ringing. We found the front desk and the staff changed our room. It did not affect sleep. The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, safe, eating, shopping and walking!"

"The location to this property from Raleigh airport was excellent, however the property is in great need of update. The entrance needed a good sweep of leaves, the hallway baseboards need replacing, there was spilled soiled spots on the carpet on my floor, the elevator was missing a handrail on one side (looked like someone pulled it off the wall) and the elevator and floor were filthy. The room was large and bed clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the airport and the planes begin take off at 6ish and run late. This hotel needs a good manager. I assume this hotel is making money because of location to airport and downtown Raleigh. I have stayed in La Quinta a few times in Florida."

"Can't say the hotel was too bad. However I can say the location is somewhat sketchy. Directly outside of the hotel their is alot of activity going on which is needless to say very questionable. Possible drug deals, ************ and drug doing. There is a gas station/convenience store right there on the premises which too draws a large crowd. However the rooms were ok. I just didn't like that I felt my car would be unsafe in there parking area due to the amount of questionable traffic. So sad to say I never took my luggage out the car in fear someone standing by would notice a bag or two and come back later to check it out. I did choose to leave but not because of the lodging. I think if you can get past the outdoor activity it may make for a nice rest spot. "

"Close to the airport and quick airport pickup after we followed the pickup instructions and called the hotel. Great hospitality allowing an early check-in after a very long trip, Much appreciated. Room was standard, clean, but bathroom facilities are older. Across the street from a couple of random restaurants, but nothing else in the area. they offer complimentary van drop off within a 5 mile radius I beleive, but we did not take advantage of this offer. Breakfast was a standard buffet, nothing special, but satisfactory."

"Everything was great. Service at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Our bathroom light flickered a bit but it was not a big deal. Bed was clean and comfy. Had some loud guests in the middle of the night, but again, it happens. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies handling the food line were friendly and very sweet to us. Thank you. "

JJessiWe booked a room for 2 adults and 1 infant. Our room was nice and spacious with a king sized bed and a chaise lounge sofa -that also was a fold out bed. The room was even large enough for us to comfortably open a Pack-n-Play and still have plenty of room to function. It fit perfectly beside the bed and did not block the sofa so that it could still be used. The room also had two dressers, a tv, a desk with chair, two night stands, a mini fridge, coffee maker, closet with safe and a bathroom with a glass door shower (no tub). This hotel is pet friendly too, so I noticed some claw marks/scratches on the back of our door -but it wasn't very noticeable. The hotel also has a fitness/gym room and a pool. There is a sign in the bathroom that states in order to save on water/energy waste they will change out towels and sheets every three days, but if you’d prefer everyday then just let the front staff know. We stayed for 5 nights and our linens never got changed out, nor did the trash. (Not a dealbreaker for me, as I like my privacy and knew no one had been in our room.) The staff was really nice and greeted us each morning as we went for our outings. They even offered to take photos for us so we can show our little one when he’s older. Overall, our stay was lovely. Would definitely book this hotel again when visiting Raleigh.

RRae FrykbergWe arrived around 2:30 ish pm and needed to get to our room, order LYFT and go to a meeting scheduled for 5:00 pm. The desk person said check in time is 4:00 but would ck to see if a room had been cleaned and ready for occupancy. He verified one was ready and allowed us to go to that room. We were appreciative of the cleaning staff and the desk person. All the hotel employees were friendly and courteous. The desk personnel even helped me with getting a Lyft app set up on my phone. The breakfast buffet was really good and extensive. There was always a line to cook waffles which caused a back up and slow moving line. Maybe have more waffle irons available. I wanted to order food from a nearby Panera Bread but the desk personnel called and/or looked up on line to find it had closed. She suggested if I placed an order thru the Panera Bread app, the person who drives the shuttle could take me to a different Panera Bread a little further away to pick up the food. I accepted her offer, bought the driver a snack and gave her a tip. I was able to have a wonderful mid afternoon meal. The beds were very comfortable. I like the bathroom door with ”cloudy” glass which allows light in for use of the bathroom overnight. I like the use of attached to the wall containers of bath soap, etc. which definitely cuts down on use of smaller containers partially used and thrown away. One important thing we suggest is the street sign for Arrow Street be much larger. Not being locals, the area was unfamiliar with us, there is heavy traffic and the Arrow Street sign is very hard to see. Otherwise, we were very happy staying in this hotel.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at a Wingate by Wyndham Garner/Raleigh South. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the day of my departure, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the entire establishment. The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere as I entered the hotel. The staff at the front desk greeted me with smiles and were helpful. In the room the linens were fresh, the surfaces were spotless, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that the hotel placed a high priority on maintaining a hygienic environment for its guests. Throughout my stay, I also explored the hotel's facilities. The dining area, fitness center, and lounges were all clean and well-organized. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, you can rest assured that your stay at this hotel will be an enjoyable and memorable one.

NNiwaniI was placed on the ground floor which could be very noisy for some people. Room was closed to house keeping, vending machine and other hotel function rooms. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend to specifically ask for top floors and quite wing. Location is 6 mins to Terminal 2, making it very convenient to go in and out to the airport.

AAnonymous UserIt was not a bad place to stay, though we only ate three times for breakfast, 1 the last day which was free due to plane cancelation so they gave my daughter and I free breakfast but the other two times were 1 comp'd that a friend received for three people in which the other was paid for by a friend. Needless to say, I got charged $45 for one day of the breakfast which likely was because the waitress made us put our room #, though she said she understood our meals were comp'd. Sadly even after calling the hotel, speaking to one person who then sent me to the finance manager whom I left a message with but still hasn't called back in almost a week. Frustrating to say the least.

GGuest UserI had stayed at the hotel years ago when I first visited Raleigh. It was delightful. I have noticed there was no way to have food in the hotel which is a bummer if you come there and have to order food. There was a bar to have a drink. I am coming from out of town. It would have been nice to have a nightcap before tucking into bed. I noticed the pool was not up and running. I also notice that only 1 elevator was working. If you step inside, it dropped and would not always open level to the floor. This is a big hazard, especially for the vision impaired. Breakfast choices were few. If you are going to serve a buffet, have had sanitizer available. Get a juice machine to offer guests different varieties of juice. Use napkins instead of paper towels. To prevent covid, allow guest to place their hands in a glove to help ensure no transmittal of germs. The front desk clerk is not a food attendant. Hire someone to be there to watch the food. The edges of the food had set in pan so long that the edges were hard and unable to chew. My rest was appropriate. The room was clean. If I had the option to stay there again, I would refuse.
