"Stayed one night at KK Sapa Hotel. We were dropped off at the back of the KK Sapa hotel at level 15. Without knowing the hotel reception lobby was on the first floor. The view from level 15 is amazing as we can see the whole Fansipan view when it is clear. We checked in at level 1 but were told to come back by 2pm. They welcomed us with warm tea. The lobby is spacious with a cosy sofa. The room given to us was at level 14 and directly facing the Fansipan view. Opposite my room was the indoor swimming pool and gym. The room is spacious and very cosy. Strong shower pressure. Strong wifi connection. Cosy beds and a huge tv with lots of TV channels. The hotel itself is walkable to the Sapa town via level 15. We took about 15mins slow walk to reach Sapa city with most of the journey on a flat road. But the road is very narrowed as two cars passing each other making pedestrians walk almost non-existent. We pretty much enjoyed our stay at this hotel . I will definitely recommend staying at this hote.l"

"I had a fantastic stay here! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome from the start. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The amenities included free Wi-Fi, which was super convenient. They also offer a complimentary breakfast, which was decent — nothing extraordinary, but it got the job done. While I didn’t explore all the amenities, the ones I used were great. The only minor thing to mention is that the building itself might look a little dated in some areas, but honestly, it didn’t affect the overall experience. Everything else was great! Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel – Excellent Location & Outstanding Staff I recently stayed at Pao Sapa Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent—right beside Moana Sapa and just a few kilometers from Cat Cat Village, making sightseeing very convenient. The town is also within walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious with a beautiful valley view, and the breakfast was delicious. The language barrier can be challenging, but the reception staff always have someone who speaks English. Katie, in particular, was extremely helpful. She assisted us with planning our Fansipan trip and booking tickets, and the hotel staff maintain a group chat to update guests on peak weather conditions, which is very useful. During our stay, the air conditioning wasn’t working and the room became humid after a long day out. Communication was difficult at first, but Katie responded to our message even after office hours and helped resolve the issue, allowing us to rest comfortably. Kudos to Katie and the team for their dedication and excellent service. I highly recommend Pao’s Sapa Leisure Hotel for its prime location, spacious rooms, and outstanding staff support."

"I booked it for an amazing view and I got the view. The breakfast was so so,but better than nothing, considering it was the ***** NY and there were no other options. The room was clean, but not spotless. Also I assume they refurbish part of the hotel and they did inform, however,due to the fact that there is no wall between rooms and reception you can hear everything,so soundproofing is nonexistent. Additionally,I understand, they are busy,but after checkout there were ppl sitting in the lobby, and after and hour or 2 the concierge started approaching everyone, asking if they checked out,and it did feel like he was trying to kick out everyone who already checked out as the lobby was busy,I mean he had a point,but it did leave a bad impression.kettle was not clean,which again if addressed may been replaced,but what about checking it before?"

"I seldom write negative reviews. Unfortunately, I have to do so this time. This hotel markets itself as 4-star, but 3.5-star is probably more appropriate. I booked a Family Room for 2 nights, and it felt like the family room hasn't been occupied for extended period. When we checked in, (1) TV was not working, (2) safe was faulty and couldn't be locked, (3) lamp by the bed was not working, (4) fridge was barely cold (staff explained that the power is weak. But the fridge was room temperature throughout our stay), and (5) the wardrobe door cannot be closed properly; the light from the wardrobe was kinda annoying at night when the lights were off. The family room has no window and the restroom has a musty smell. During our first night (April 2), we asked for an ice bucket at the reception - we collected it physically from a male staff who was on duty and who was visibly upset and was moderately shouting at guests who called the reception. Overall, the location is great. Staff (esp Mr Thomas) tried their best to fix the problems in our room. I walked past the other rooms facing the city and they looked more pleasant than the family room. However, I would advise AGAINST booking the family room (which is the most expensive room type). Again, I don't think it's a 4-star hotel, though the staff are commendable. I think the management should do something to rectify this problem as there are several negative reviews on the same observations. Thank you."

"It was a good choice i booked the azure sapa hotel coz location was good , everywhere you want is just in the corner just few minutes walk to the sun plaza where the train station to take us to cable car to mt.fansipan . Staffs is very accomodating, help us booked our trip to mt.fansipan back en fort she even help us to settle our bus sleeper booking back to hanoi, its really amazed me that azure was helping me all i need on our one night and 2days stayed in the hotel.. breakfast was good,just simple tradional breskfast . Since we checkout early , you can leave the luggage in the hotel until your last hour on your stay to SAPA , it was really a nice experience that i visited the sapa vietnam .. until my next plan 🙏. Highly recommended🙏"

"We spent the first two days of our trip staying in town at Sa Pa, and for the next two nights we moved slightly out of town to Hotel DeLaMont. The hotel is located about a 10-minute drive from the town center, perched high on a hill overlooking the valley. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was precisely for that spectacular valley view, which is said to be among the best in Sa Pa. Unfortunately, during our stay, the weather fully lived up to Sa Pa’s nickname as the “City in the Fog.” Thick fog rolled in every day, and visibility was sometimes close to zero—especially on the darker roads without streetlights while our Grab drivers navigated the winding hills. Thankfully, on the morning of our final day, the clouds finally lifted a little and we were blessed with a partial glimpse of the breathtaking valley view we had been hoping for. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was essentially two super single beds pushed together, which meant you could feel the gap in the middle while sleeping. It’s not the most comfortable setup, but still manageable for a short stay. The minibar follows the usual hotel practice—aside from complimentary water, tea, and coffee, the rest of the items are chargeable. One thing we appreciated was the smart TV. We spent some relaxing time listening to music and watching travel videos on YouTube after long days exploring Sa Pa. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a modern electric shower system, which was quite impressive. They even installed a heated lamp to keep you warm while showering—something you’ll definitely appreciate in the chilly Sa Pa climate. However, the wash basin design could be improved. Water tends to collect around the sides, leaving the surface constantly wet, and occasionally attracting small bugs. The hotel doesn’t include breakfast by default, but you can pay extra if you’d like the convenience of eating on-site. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s certainly convenient. The hotel also offers facilities like a gym and a swimming pool. The pool is supposed to be heated, but during our visit the weather was extremely foggy and humid, so the heating was turned off and swimming wasn’t really appealing anyway. Their rooftop area is quite beautiful and would probably be an amazing place to enjoy the valley view on a clear day. Overall, despite the foggy weather limiting the scenery, Hotel DeLaMont is still a comfortable and decent hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities. On a clear day, the view alone would likely make the stay even more memorable."

"The hotel is located in a strategic location, within an 10 minute walking distance (upslope is expected) of the Sapa Station (Sun plaza). The room is spacious, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The shower has strong water pressure and a stable temperature. The staff were extremely helpful. They can speak English very well. The hotel breakfast has different selections and live stations (eg., fried egg, omelette, pho noodle). They served the breakfast from 6.30am to 9.30am at 5th floor, which is next to the hotel lobby. We got a mountain view room and you can really see the nice view when there is not foggy. We don’t hear any noise from the street and the environmental within the hotel is quiet and peaceful. We arrived at Sapa in the early morning (6am) and there is no room available for check-in. Therefore, we waited until 12pm and it was lucky that the staff allowing us early check in without extra charges. I also put a remark that it’s my husband birthday and the staff prepared a waffle cake and send to our room once we have checked in. Appreciated for the special arrangement and I would sincerely thank you the staff who really attentive to every notes from the guests. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel because of its clean environment, great hospitality, and friendly staff."

"The owner checked the room before I checked in. When I came in there was a dead moth the size of my thumb on the floor and there were dead ants and mosquitoes all over the place. I didn’t know what he checked for. It was freezing cold and the mattress heater didn’t work. Also it was badly equipped. I’ve expected to at least get body wash and shampoo, but only shampoo was there in small plastic packages."
