"It's a long way from the city center, but luckily there are bikes you can borrow.
You can stay in a B&B by car. The interior decoration of the room is relatively ordinary.
It's clean, the equipment is OK, and it doesn't feel old.
There is an indoor swimming pool next door, which can be considered an advantage."

"This was a surprise gem in the middle of a long road trip. The children could not have been happier with the decorated rooms and fun lobby. The included breakfast at a nearby restaurant was delicious. We would highly recommend to any families, our kids are already asking to come back and try some of the other rooms."

"This trip was disrupted by a typhoon and we almost couldn't check in as scheduled. Thank you to the owner of the B&B for waiting for us patiently. The room was as beautiful and clean as it looked on the website. There was good parking nearby and it was very quiet at night and it didn't affect the quality of sleep at all! The air conditioning was very cold and the bed was very comfortable to lie on. It is very suitable for travelers to stay in ❤️❤️"

GGuest UserOverall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel. We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time.
Location wise it’s very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.
There’s bus station “xiaowan” very convenient for sightseeing if you don’t rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC.
In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closed…
Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool.
Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :)
We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out.
Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby bar… but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel.
Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :).
All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area.

CCheesesuperringThis is an extremely gorgeous hotel. The view from the oceanfront rooms were simply fantastic. We woke up to the blue sky and turquoise water morning. Breakfast was a fixed set for everyone and staff were polite and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if I were to visit in the future. The only downside is that the toilet in my room smells like sewage.

GGj KenOur stay at Amanda Hotel is Awesome! We enjoy swimming in the pool area,our room is comfy,the food is delicious ,they have these moroccan style outfit for rent that gives highlight to the hotel and it was very entertaining though, i think they just need to add some clothes or a bit repair is needed but overall i would say it worth the penny.and thanks to the very accomodating staff! They did great🙌💚

SSuzieWe stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

MMC Chan ChanThe bathtub is very good, with sufficient water pressure and quick draining. The breakfast is simple and is freshly prepared by the owner, Sister Hong, which is very thoughtful. The location is also very convenient because it is right between Hengchun and Kenting. I asked about the motorcycle rental service, but the shop kept saying that they couldn't rent with my international license. Finally, I went to the aunt at ”Haizhijia” next door and successfully rented a motorcycle for a day. Fortunately, it didn't affect my original itinerary. Thank you Sister Hong for your help. The air conditioner in the room was a bit noisy, so I just turned it off at night and slept with the window open and the fan on the lowest setting. The weather now is not very hot and acceptable, but it is hard to say if it is summer season.
In addition, there is a small shop next to it called ”Shiyi”, the food there is very delicious. I would like to recommend where you can have a meal. You can google it for detailed reviews.

YYasmine_KalesegesThe B&B room was incredibly spacious, especially perfect for a family of three. The large bathtub was a fantastic bonus, ideal for a relaxing soak after a long and tiring day. I also really enjoyed the common area on the ground floor of the B&B; it was a comfortable spot to relax while waiting for our water sports instructor. The scooter rental service, Manting Scooter Shop, recommended by the B&B, was excellent – they even provided phone holders for navigation, which was a thoughtful touch. Our main focus for this trip was water sports, and the snorkeling, kayaking, and SUP activities arranged through the B&B were all fantastic! We would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit! Highly recommended!👍👍

AAnonymous UserNo bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.

ドドイchanIt takes about 70 minutes to get to Kenting Pailou by taking the Kenting Express bus from near Kunryo Station. I arrived at the hotel in ５ minutes on foot from the place of getting off. He was a cat-loving owner. The seafood restaurant Kachin recommended by the owner was good for dinner ... It was delicious and reasonable price 👍
By the way, it is close to the cherry blossom nose park, and it is good to enjoy sightseeing in about 15 〜 20 minutes from the bus stop in the center of Kenting Street.

SSteffdoI recently stayed at 35.5 Inn in Kenting Xiaowan, and overall, I had a very positive experience.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the amenities provided were good. Everything was well-maintained, making my stay comfortable.
The location is fantastic—the hotel is right next to the Kenting Night Market, which is held daily. This makes it incredibly convenient for food, shopping, and entertainment. Additionally, a scooter rental shop is located right next door, offering both regular and electric scooters, making it easy to explore the area.
One aspect that could be improved is the check-in process. Unfortunately, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, which can be inconvenient for travelers arriving earlier. A potential improvement would be to provide guests with the door code in advance, allowing early check-in if the room is already available. In my case, my room was unoccupied before my arrival, so this could have been an easy solution.
Overall, I highly recommend 35.5 Inn for its cleanliness, great location, and accessibility to transport options. If they refine their check-in process, it would be an even better experience!

GGuest UserVery nice place to stay. It seems newly built or renovated and it was very clean. We had a great room with a balcony.
Staff is super friendly and really went the extra mile to help us, despite a slight language barrier (they were able to communicate all relevant information in English to us). There was free coffee, tea, and snacks available (including snacks from the island).
You may choose between a pre-made breakfast at the hotel or vouchers for a breakfast at a take away place that’s a five-minute scooter drive away. We choose the latter - it’s a nice local experience, a bit of a challenge for non-Chinese speakers such as ourselves, so if you don’t want to figure it out, the pre-made breakfast might be a better option.
You can also rent an e-scooter here, which is nice but do keep in mind that it’s silent - so other people in traffic may not hear you. We had no problems but I noticed some people crossing that seemed to have no idea we were passing. A plus is that you can change the battery for free at several points on the island.
