"Immediately after entering the room, I was worried about the smell of cigarettes, but there was also an air purifier, so I didn't care while using it. The sister at the front desk was very kind and I felt good."
"This hotel is affordable, the room facilities are complete, and the basic needs can be met. However, the sanitary conditions are average, the location is a bit remote, and the surrounding transportation is not very convenient. It is suitable for short-term stays for travelers with limited budgets and low requirements for accommodation. The price-performance ratio is OK, but don't expect too much."

"My trip was to Hirosaki for cherry blossom viewing. Given that hotels in Tokyo were completely booked, prohibitively expensive, and rooms were virtually impossible to find, I made a last-minute booking for this hotel. The hotel itself is quite new, clean, and well-maintained. It's conveniently located about a ten-minute walk from Sendai Station. There's an Ichiran Ramen restaurant just a short walk to the left of the hotel. Interestingly, I only learned upon arriving in Sendai that Mr. Lu Xun had studied at Tohoku University here."
"The location is within a few minutes walking distance from the Sendai Airport Line.
There are many department stores and restaurants nearby. It is very convenient for eating, shopping and playing.
It is around 5 minutes walking distance from Sendai Morning Market."
"We love the location of this hotel, close to all shoppings, foods and Train Station. Great amenities, nice onsen eventhough a bit old style. If we come back to Sendai, we will choose this hotel again. Thanks for the nice stay."
"While the room itself was compact, the bathroom and toilet area felt relatively spacious. The shower and bathtub were combined in one area, with the toilet in a separate, adjacent room, which was very convenient. Upon check-in, the front desk offered a selection of bath salts, with a variety of scents to choose from. Controls for lights, air conditioning, and even requesting room cleaning were all handled via a bedside touchscreen, which was simple and intuitive to operate. Breakfast was also fantastic! It featured many local specialties from Miyagi Prefecture, and I really enjoyed putting together my own 'Date Breakfast' each morning. We were so exhausted from sightseeing every day that I didn't get many chances to photograph the hotel, only the breakfast."
"There is a hotel with a very high C P value that comes with breakfast. The location is also very good and the rooms are also good.
You can also accumulate the number of stays, so it’s recommended for travelers who don’t necessarily want to stay in a luxury hotel!"
"This hotel, Dongheng, not expensive, the room is not big, but feels at ease, intimate, walking seven or eight minutes from the station, very convenient, breakfast is not rich but enough, very good."
"The hotel is located in the heart of Sendai, a few minutes from Sendai Station. The waiter has a good attitude and the details are better. The shortcoming is that the sound insulation of the room is too bad. Some people in the corridor can speak clearly. The noise outside the hotel can also be heard. The shading of the curtains is not good. The air conditioner lights are too bright and do not sleep well at night."

Amazing
IIampareGreat location! Few minutes walk from Sendai station and surround with lots of shops, restaurants and department store. There are 7-eleven and Starbucks at the first floor. The room is very nice. Everything is new, clean, with good space for two 28” luggage to open at the same time and we still can walk around the room. The staffs were so nice and provided prompt support. We found problem about the hair dryer at midnight and the staff changed a new one to us immediately.
There are free amenities that you could pick at lobby.
Highly recommend and would definitely choose this hotel if we have a chance to visit Sendai again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
SSammiiiI recently stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai and had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Sendai Station, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The surrounding area offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.
The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a compact but functional bathroom. The space was efficiently designed to maximize comfort despite its size.
The staff were friendly and professional, providing smooth check-in and helpful assistance throughout the stay. The hotel also offers amenities such as a self-service check-in kiosk, coin laundry, and free coffee in the lounge, which added convenience.
Overall, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai provides excellent value for money, offering a clean, safe, and convenient stay in the heart of Sendai. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
SSVS1984Very good location only few minute walk to Sendai station and Tsusujigaoka garden, which has very beautiful Sakura blossom. I love the Onsen. It is very clean and well equip.
FFoshA stroke of bad luck left us stranded in Sendai when the JR East Shinkansen network was suspended. As the night wore on with no trains in sight, we grew anxious. By 11:30 p.m., we decided to book a hotel for the night. Thankfully, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise — newly and tastefully renovated, cosy, and functional. The highlight was the lounge, which offered complimentary beverages and a play area for kids — an unexpected but welcome touch. Like most hotels in Japan, it provided complimentary toiletries, but this one went a step further with facial masks and bath salts — a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more relaxing.
GGuest UserConvenient location where JR station, subway stations are within walking distance. Very good breakfast with lots of local delicacies. I like the public bath too despite room a bit small but the layout is good that u have enough space to open your luggage. Free coffee at lobby.
PPandaolimingThe hotel is in a great location, with a shopping street just outside. Go left and walk straight along the shopping street to Tohoku University, which has a beautiful environment. The shadow of Mr. Lu Xun is everywhere, with a statue of Lu Xun and a lecture hall, as well as rich historical materials. The room is compactly arranged, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and has a smart toilet. There is even a clothes dryer in the room. It is not far from Sendai Station and can be reached by foot. Sendai Castle is nearby.
AAnonymous UserHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the station, with a large shopping mall nearby. There is an onsen and a restaurant in the hotel itself, but the breakfast cost more than stated in the description.
The rooms are equipped with a shower, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, and dehumidifier, and the beds are quite comfortable. Pajamas are provided, and other amenities can be picked up at the reception if needed
GGuest UserConveniently located not far from Sendai Station, right beside the Westin. While the room was a bit small, it was very well-designed and functional. Having two convenience stores right next door was incredibly convenient. It's also a short walk to the morning market. The price was reasonable, offering good value for money. I'd definitely stay here again.
陳陳亨利There is a 7-11 and Aeon Express across the road, and there are also delicious tsukemen nearby. There are free drinks and coffee in the lobby on the first floor, and there is also a public bath on the second floor. I think it is very cost-effective.
