Room 207, in my opinion, was really not good. It felt quite cramped and, more importantly, there was a foul odor. I was surprised by how dirty it was; everything felt covered in dust and grime. We couldn't stand it and ended up mopping the floor ourselves – it was the first time I've ever had to clean a guesthouse myself. We booked three nights but only spent one night in 207 before paying extra to switch rooms. The other rooms were decent, although the bathrooms still had a strange smell. But we also did a bit of mopping and cleaning in those rooms ourselves (I just didn't find them clean enough). The ladies at the front desk provided excellent service. The guesthouse is also conveniently located near food and drink options, and close to the ancient town. You can also wash clothes at the hotel and hang them outside to dry in the sun, as there are hooks available.

Everything that I experienced in the premises is beyond my expectations.Firstly is the experience to feel the atmosphere of the traditional Chinese courtyard house. I took the room with an attached yard and I love it very much. The service is excellent.I was even given a drive to the train station when I checked out as I have with me 2 large luggage bags without even me asking for it. My advise to all travel as light as possible if u intend to stay at this Watertown Zgujiajiao as the homestays are far from the road acceses as a result you have to lug your luggage to the homestays. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in this Watertown. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ 6 STARS
