Overall enjoyed staying here, really love the smell in the lobby, after a long day out coming back to a good scented atmosphere is relaxing. Bed is good, very nice for hotel standard, queen size which is perfect for solo travelers, nice pillows (I got my own pillow cases with me in the photos). Great closet, room has washing/drying machine in the balcony and very cool clothes hanger rack where you can roll it down or roll back up to the ceiling. Staff is nice, can communicate English. 7-11 right next to hotel entrance, family mart just right across, many restaurants and a coffee shop on the streets across from the hotel.
At night the red bridge’s lights go on and it’s really beautiful, when I went, the city lights go on at 18.00 and off at 22.00
Hot water is available for shower but after midnight usually only cold water available, so make sure to shower before midnight if you like warm water showers.
Wifi possible to connect but wouldn’t work, especially staying at floor 35 it’s impossible, I was fine using roaming internet data I bought from my country on my phones though. Stayed 6 nights including breakfast but only had breakfast 1 time, it’s quite average, however many local style options.
Booked room with VR, pretty cool experience, the VR could be cleaner but they provide eye mask and sanitation wipes for you to clean.

Lovely!!!! There’s a balcony attached to the room that gave a nice view. The room was stacked with all the necessities of an apartment. They even had fruits in the room free of charge. It was clean, the air was nice, smelled good… the staff was friendly and 1 guy at the reception spoke very good English and recommended a few places to visit while staying there. Would I recommend? DEFINITELY!!! There’s a 7 eleven downstairs the building and a basic mall across the road. It’s in a peaceful and not loud area but still not far from the busy tourist attractions.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The place is gorgeous! The room was a decent size, SPOTLESS! and everything in it looked brand new. The bed was super comfortable. There was a big fridge, a microwave and a washing machine in the room. The place is very quiet, I could not hear any noises, neither from other rooms nor from the street. The staff is friendly and people at the reception can speak English. The area around is nice, close to downtown, and a metro station is just a five minutes walk away from the hotel. Recommend Somerset to everyone and will definitely stay here again myself
