The most horrendous hotel I have ever stayed in! The whole building smells of smoke, toilet in the room does not have a door, just a curtain! The walls are concrete and looks like they have been painted by a 3 year old. Some of the buildings on site are abandoned, staff looked tired on reception and limited English. The gym is a joke!
Would not recommend to choose this hotel and surprised this is part of Ramada chain!

Just absolutely not what is advertised.
Not near the airport, my taxi actually took me to the Ramada airport hotel (not "encore") first!
My 'elegant' queen suite was a bare wooden chair and desk on one floor and steep stairs to a loft with a bed. The 'bathroom' was next to the front door and totally open...totally..to the room.
Not even a Spartan would call this elegant.
Finally a chance to sit down and there was a cigarette wrapper on the only chair...
Sigh...the facility is also right next to the airport cargo areas (I guess that's 'airport' enough) so..loud!!! Shuttle bus was fast but over crowded and luggage was stacked on seats so it flew around.
Thank goodness for the wonderful staff or 😡

If you're on an early flight and they prepare snack pack (milk, biscuit, nuts, bun & egg) during your check out.
Half hourly shuttle from the hotel to PVG.
Cons
Refurbished factory, hotel reception hard to find especially at night. Have 3 buildings, 1 for the reception + dinning area, other 2 buildings are rooms.
Not advisable to during rainy season, Distance from the reception to building 2 (which I stay) maybe only less than 50m, likely to be drench before you reach your room.
Only a curtain for the WC, 1 small bed & a short flight of stairs to the main bed (can accommodate a couple & a child)

After a long trip, great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Not far from airport and the hotel offers airport pick up service. Everything worked great. Cleanliness top deserves more than 5 points. Beds are very comfortable. A clear recommendation from us.

Good quality and value for money. Building 1 is all the way in after turning right out and right again from the reception so it's a little confusong but other than that, it was a very comfortable stay just 10 mins from the airport. Take note of the hotel's Chinese name to prevent confusion if taking the shuttle bus

The hotel is close to the airport, about 10 to 15 mins ride with the 24hours free airport shuttle. I called to reserve for pick up. Overall a very pleasant and convenient stay for transit customers
