My honest review:
Pro:
- Comfortable and clean bed, bath towel
- Cheap rates
- Helpful receptionist
Cons:
- Poor sound proof. Not for light sleeper
- Construction noises upstairs begin at 6.30am is insane
- Location is an hour train ride to People square
- Limited / no amenities at almost dying office building ( no convenient shop nor supermarket )
- The room furniture have traces of aging and require some improvements
If you are budget traveller, this is definitely for you as what matters is a clean and comfortable bed.

A great hotel albeit very far from Shanghai city centre. Chose this hotel because it was relatively cheap. Room service and amenities in the room is very good! If you can afford to ride the metro from Shanghai city centre here for one and the half hours,, this is a great hotel.

The hotel is so amazing ,clean , hot water 24h and free WiFi . The receptionist were so nice and welcoming. I strongly recommend this hotel ❤️

Very helpful staff, bed is comfortable,convenient location to Subway Line1, but limited restaurant and no convenient shop around. Very good value for money, highly recommended for budget travellers.

Almost ok room very clean and convenience to stay even it’s small room but provided all necessary facilities to customers.
Location a bit far from Shanghai central but can take metro around 13-14 stations to there and it’s very easy to find hotel due to it’s in mall where opposite metro station.
If you not mind location which a bit far from central recommend stay here.

I had an excellent four-day stay at the Home Inns Ribbon Cloud Hotel near Shanghai’s West Youyi Road Subway Station; it’s one of the best, with spotless hygiene and great convenience.
