I was originally in a room that stunk of smoke. It was hard to breathe originally, so I went down to ask for another room. They kindly provided me with an upgrade so I now had a window. It was a much better experience. A good stay.

This hotel was clean and got the job done for a brief solo trip, but it definitely did not seem newly renovated. Be forewarned, there is essentially zero sound insulation- I could hear everything in the hallway, ranging from conversations to slamming doors as if they were inside my room. There was also the faint smell of smoke in my non-smoking room, which I realized seemed to be coming from the ventilation system, and I suspect that maybe it was pulling in air from the outside. That being said, the staff was kind, and for the price and location, it was sufficient.

Lovely contemporary hotel just a short strong from N Sichuan Rd Station.
Walking to the Bund Tourist precinct only takes about 20 mins.
There will be a new shopping mall restaurant hub opening soon featuring Goose Island Taphouse, speciality coffee and clothing stores.
Staff were helpful and checking in and out was easy.
Comfortable beds and good shower pressure.
Will gladly book again.

Not new and not very clean. Mattress is hard and pillow is flat. Toilet cleanliness need work

Hotel is very clean and the showers are also very clean with shower towels. Bed well made. I will recommend this hotel for your various visits to Shanghai If your addresses are close to this hotel.
