The hotel is typical Chinese style city hotel. The mattress was ok but the pillows were too soft. The carpet in the room was dirty with previous guests toe clippings visible.

What a gem this hotel is! It’s quiet and elegant in a nice neighbourhood with lots of little cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. It’s a short walk to West Nanjing Road snd the Jade Buddha Temple also. The front desk staff were helpful snd friendly and upgraded my room so I had s nice view. The room was just lovely! I would definitely stay again.

What a great place to stay if you are visiting Shanghai. It’s in an excellent location, walking distance to lots of good stuff and close to several Metro lines. The rooms are quite lovely and the staff are very kind and helpful. For the price I do not think you will find a better spot. There’s a cute Mexican place next door which is accessible from the lobby and it’s wonderfully easy to have things delivered if you don’t feel like going out. Great shower with two different heads and hot water. I would say not to bother with the breakfast, the standard of food is poor and the other guests seem incapable of covering their mouths whilst coughing and sneezing which makes the whole thing feel like more of a superspreader event than a dining experience. I give this place a strong 9/10, only didn’t get the ten because of other guests antisocial behaviour but it’s to be expected so not the hotel’s fault. I will definitely stay here again and again and again.

Convenient location for my meetings. The hotel was clean and featured an excellent restuarant. I would stay again next time I am in Shanghai.

Good rooms . Great area. Staff refused to turn on the AC because out side temp was not more than 26 degrees Celsius. Room was boiling hot

stayed there early November, the rooms were warm and stuffy, and A/C doesn't seem to work. We only found out the next day that they turned off their generator because it's 'cold' outside. In the end we had to borrow standing fans for each which isn't very strong as well.
