Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Putuo

This property is located in a quiet neighborhood next to the Suzhou River. The service was good. Breakfast was relatively bad comparing to other Holiday inn hotels.

The hotel is pretty clean and the interior looks ok and fairly modern. Furthermore, the location is pretty awesome. Even though it is not in the immediate city center, you can be basically everywhere more or less quick on metro or bike. The neighborhood is residential and very cute and calm, walking along the river is amazing and there are some malls nearby. In addition, the hotel staff is nice and helpful as far as they can with their translation devices. However, the breakfast is average and the rooms are not perfect. E.g. the toilet door doesn't close entirely so that people can see when you are on the toilet. We mostly put the trash bin in front of the door to prevent it from swinging open.

We have stayed in this hotel many times in our trip to Shanghai. It's clean, convenient, and has self service laundry which is very good for a longer holiday in China. The restaurant seems being refurbished, with more variety of food for breakfast.

Great quiet location, breakfast was very good. Lily and Jiajia at the desk were very helpful with the service and request.

Have stayed here many times, like the location close to maul with many good restaurants and other shopping .Food is good.

The hotel staff is very professional and helpful. Lily at the reception desk helped me a lot and solved the issue.
