I spent two weeks in Shanghai as a solo traveler from the US, and The Drama was a wonderful home base. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, the staff were kind, courteous, and responsive, and there was plenty of food options in the area, as well as meals offered by the hotel. I was very pleased with my stay and will not hesitate to come back to The Drama on my next trip!

We've been visiting The Drama whenever we visit Shanghai for a number of trips now. The hotel is well situated in Jing'An, and part of a collaboration with a renowned immersive theatre production right next door. The rooms are thematic and every stay is an amazing experience. Most crucially, the staff and crew are lovely. They bring a warmth and thoughtfulness that is very rare. The team feels like friends, looking after a much welcomed friend from afar. We will continue to stay at the Drama in our next visits to Shanghai. Be seeing everyone soon!

I had an incredible time for my birthday at the drama hotel. The staff friendly the rooms were superb and the atmosphere of the entire place was electric. if you are looking to spend within this price range and stay at somewhere very special this is a definite first choice for you!
