SIERRA HOTEL Shanghai Chongming

I booked a room a month in advance for the Yangtze River Half Marathon and was lucky enough to be upgraded to a river view suite. The room was spacious, simple and tidy. The hotel provided all three meals, especially on the day of the race, which was very thoughtful.

I visited Dongtan with friends and stayed at Rushan Hotel. The biggest experience was that the service was really bad! Since the view room confirmed by the front desk when checking in actually had no view at all, I felt cheated and filed a complaint. First, a housekeeping manager came, but negotiations failed and he asked his superiors to handle the complaint. After waiting for two days without any news, I contacted him again. Before checking out the next day, one of his subordinates came and said that he would upgrade the room next time. Does that mean I have to come again next time? And then nothing happened. In addition, the rooms were not cleaned at 2pm, and the restaurant and room service staff spoke rudely. This level of service is not what a luxury hotel should be like. I hope the hotel will strengthen personnel management and training!

The hotel I stayed in this time really brought me too many surprises and touched me, and made me deeply feel what it means to feel at home. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was infected by the enthusiasm of the staff. Their professionalism and efficiency during the check-in procedures were impressive, and their sincere smiles were like a spring breeze, eliminating the fatigue of our travelers. During the entire stay, whether it was the warm reception at the front desk or the thoughtful and meticulous guest rooms, I felt the hotel staff's persistent pursuit of service quality. They always showed up in time when I needed them, and solved problems for me with smiles and actions. I believe that this hotel will continue to maintain such a high level of service and provide more unforgettable experiences for more people who come to Chongming to play.

The hotel is very new, the service is very good, the breakfast is also good. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool, and there are bicycle rentals. It is not far from Dongtan Wetland Park, but there is a construction site next to it, and it is not very convenient to eat.

A very family-friendly hotel, the location is a bit remote, but the facilities in the hotel are good. It is not far from the highway exit and is suitable for self-driving. For meals, you can go to the farm restaurant in Chenjia Town to try Chongming's special local dishes. Overall, it is more suitable for a family to spend a weekend.
