I previously stayed at Ji Hotel in Guangzhou and was impressed by the cleanliness, which led me to purposely choose the same chain for my trip to Shanghai. We stayed for 3 nights, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. Housekeeping was subpar — the basin wasn’t even cleaned during our stay.
As we had to leave early for Disneyland, we headed down for breakfast at 6:30 AM, only to find out it only starts at 7 AM. While waiting in the lobby, we noticed a few people sleeping there, and the air-conditioning wasn’t switched on, making the wait quite uncomfortable.
The breakfast itself was very basic and remained the same across all three days.

Love it! The hotel has a great scent the moment you enter the lobby, making it really relaxing. They have robots for your order-ins, and a store room to keep all your taobao deliveries. Lots of guests coming in and out, but lots of staffs working round the clock to take care of everyone too.

Location is convenient as it's near the train station. Lift is a little slow as there is only 2 lift serving all the floors.

Xixi and colleagues at the front desk are very helpful. The lady at the breakfast noodles station is also very cheerful, a delight when she greets you in the morning.
