Shijiazhuang Chang'an District Hotels

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

The hotel is in a great location, across the street from the Hebei Provincial Museum. It is easy to find by driving. There is free parking. The hotel environment is clean and the room layout is perfect, elegant and romantic. The staff are also warm and thoughtful, which makes people feel very comfortable. Xiao Wang and Xiao Shang in the front office are kind and considerate, and proficient in their business; Zheng Qiyue in the restaurant is a particularly enthusiastic girl who introduced the restaurant's dishes to us and gave us gifts when we left. The breakfast is very good, the dishes are rich, and you can also eat some Hebei special snacks. It was a really pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a prime location, and it is very convenient to go out and take a bus. It is very close to the bus station and subway station. The hotel service is warm, the room is warm and spacious, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel also has a buffet to choose from, which is very satisfactory. There is also afternoon tea, laundry room, and gym on the 28th floor. It is very comfortable to have afternoon tea while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The hotel also has a car to take you to Zhengding Ancient City, and the service is very good. The front desk lady is also very enthusiastic, and the room price is also very affordable. The overall feeling is very cost-effective!

Jin Li, the night shift supervisor of the housekeeping department, happened to be checking the room next door. He quickly came to help deal with the vomit and brought a thermometer to the child. When he learned that the child had not eaten yet, he sent white porridge and egg custard to the child. Thank you very much for the timely help of Jin Li, and thank Master Feng Baoqiang, the master who is responsible for cleaning the carpet. There are many types of breakfast. Due to the large flow of customers during the festival, the breakfast staff of the cafe are very busy, hard-working and enthusiastic in providing services to the guests, but they are still overwhelmed, which can easily cause unnecessary customer complaints. In summary, as a four-star hotel, the services of the three front-line departments of the International Building lobby, guest rooms, and catering, as well as the parking lot security personnel, are still worthy of recognition. It is worth recommending to friends and worth staying again. Once again, special thanks to Jin Li, the supervisor of the housekeeping department, for his thoughtful and enthusiastic service.

When you first check in, it is recommended to open the window for a while to ventilate the room. The hotel is in a good location. It only takes five minutes to walk to the subway station. If you get off at Shijiazhuang Station, you can take the subway directly to Beiguo Mall Station. Beiguo Mall is next to the hotel. At night, you can overlook the night view of Shijiazhuang from the window. The location is really excellent. The sound insulation effect is very good, but you can still hear the sound of the door opposite or next door unlocking when you sleep at night. The hotel staff at the front desk are very responsible. When you check in, they will ask about the check-in experience and provide considerate service (at least this is my experience). (If you are a girl who comes to Shijiazhuang alone, I suggest you buy a door lock, because the door lock of this hotel is relatively simple, and it may be because the hotel requires you to swipe the room card to go upstairs, but it can be more reassuring)

Service, staff and price…. Everything is perfect ! I’ve stayed at this wonderful hotel for four days and been deeply impressed by the hospitality and quality of the service the hotel has offered . Squeaky clean from inside out and housekeepers super helpful and accommodating! I will definitely come back in the future and recommend it to my friends coming to Shijiazhuang, China. If I have to say anything needing improvement , I’d like to suggest that the hotel management be a little tougher on the guests half naked in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet. I understand they might just come out it the cozy and hot Sauna. However , public decency also needs to be observed and displayed . By the way, I made a video clip on the half-naked male guest in the restaurant and the hotel employee standing on his side with a shirt in hands trying to convince the man to put it on . After posting it onto TikTok , it has more than 5000 views in two hours worldwide !

Good location! Good location! Good location! For those who come to see the museum, there is no hotel closer than this one. You can walk to it! The transportation is also extremely convenient. Metro Line 1 can reach Shijiazhuang Station, and Bus No. 130 can reach Zhengding County directly! The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and sanitary, the service is warm and the price is affordable. Although there are some minor flaws, such as the bathroom facilities are slightly worse, the floor drain is not smooth, etc., compared with the location and environment, they can be overcome! Don't worry, it is also convenient to eat downstairs and around, with high, medium and low!

First of all, the quality was indeed low, and then the staff at the door said, ”Don't look at it as a Beijing-licensed car, these cars have the lowest quality”... I think there is nothing wrong with what he said. Look at the impression it leaves on outsiders, but I suggest that the driver's ID card be displayed on his car in the future so that people can see where the driver is from and they will understand. Those who understand will understand... Don't always drive a Beijing-licensed car to make Beijingers hate you... Let's get back to the point. The hotel environment is nothing to say. The elders said that it can be compared with the Taihu Hotel in Wuxi. It should be very beautiful when the lights are on at night, but time was too tight and I didn't have time to walk around the hotel... The hotel service is very poor, especially the service in the Chinese restaurant, which can be described as unbearable. The details are written in the restaurant reviews... And when you need something during your stay and contact the waiter, it is often not delivered. You need to make several calls and it takes a long time before it is delivered. I think this hotel is probably endorsed by the government, otherwise it shouldn't be so bad. Care about reputation... The breakfast level is low in this level of hotel, not many varieties, and the grade is not high... The hardware facilities are OK, but the corridor is illuminated by the skylight, and it will be dim at night... It was 10 o'clock in the evening on the second day of check-in, and the hotel's automatic sprinkler for watering the flowers was still on, absolutely disgusting. I called the front desk and at first they said it was not their hotel's responsibility and asked me to call 12345. It was really ridiculous... Later they said it was their hotel's responsibility and asked the construction workers to turn it off. It took half an hour and two calls to turn it off. The service is really ridiculous... The software needs to be greatly improved. In summary, the park environment is among the best in this level of hotel, and the service is also very bad in this level of hotel... However, we lived on the third floor, and the service attitude of the female waiter who cleaned the room was particularly good. I don't know her name. I really want to praise her. When I asked her, she just said to give the hotel a good review. Not every one of her colleagues can make people feel at home like her... Hotel room is fine. The staff at the front desk were kind, and spoke some English. My issue is that the walls are super thin, I was woken up in the middle of the night because the person in the next room was talking. I was able to clearly hear every word that the other guess said.
