Located by the serene shores of Lan Lake, the hotel’s core philosophy is “Residence by the Serene Lake, Elegance of Lanxi Wind.” It seamlessly blends the natural beauty of the lake and mountains with the local cultural heritage. As soon as you open your window in the morning, you are greeted by a tranquil body of water. Throughout the seasons, you find yourself in a mystical realm where tea plantations, wetlands, and the mist-laden beauty of Jiangnan intertwine. The hotel’s guest rooms combine Eastern elegance with modern comfort, with some units featuring private courtyards or viewing terraces where you can sleep by the lake. The hotel features a traditional craftsmanship workshop and a tea-break space by the lake, allowing you to experience the essence of Lanxi’s culture and natural beauty both visually and through the taste buds. Here, far from the hustle and bustle, you can embark on a deeply immersive journey akin to a “casual leisure” experience, rediscovering the poetic everyday life beyond the ancient commercial hub.
"During the Qingming Festival, I stayed at Lanhu Huajiantang. I booked through a package from Jinghu Hotel, and the hotel upgraded me to a lake-view room, which was a thoughtful touch. The package included a full meal and some hotel services. Overall, the hotel was very good. Perhaps because it's newly opened, the service was a little inexperienced, and the front desk seemed quite busy. However, the service attitude was excellent; they answered all my questions promptly, making me feel very comfortable.
The Michelin-starred meal included in the package was very good. Breakfast can be eaten at Youbu Ancient Town or at the hotel. I chose to visit the ancient town one day, and the breakfast there was very unique and worth trying. However, the journey from the hotel to the ancient town is quite far, so I suggest the hotel arrange a shuttle bus. Also, the hotel's location is rather remote, and taxis are not readily available; I recommend driving yourself."
