"For those concerned about altitude sickness, Banshan No. 1 Hotel is incredibly accommodating. 1. The hotel's pick-up driver immediately provided an oxygen pillow, which was very reassuring for us first-time visitors to Tibet. 2. The in-room dining is clean and hygienic, perfect for someone like me who's new to the area and needs to ease the burden on their digestive system. 3. The hotel has diffused oxygen supply throughout, which feels very safe. 4. The small convenience store in Sosong Village sells portable oxygen canisters for a reasonable 25 RMB – a great safety net to carry with you when you're out taking photos. 5. The hotel is located right within Sosong Village in the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon scenic area, offering excellent views of Mount Namcha Barwa directly from the rooms. We stayed here for two nights, and we were treated to a full view of Namcha Barwa as soon as we arrived. On the evening before we left, we were blessed with the golden glow of the 'sun-drenched mountain'. Snow-capped peaks, peach blossoms, blue skies, green grass, Namcha Barwa, the Yarlung Zangbo River – what an abundance of good fortune. I'll truly miss this place. Grateful for Namcha Barwa, for the Yarlung Zangbo River, for Nyingchi's blue skies and peach blossoms, and for Banshan No. 1 Hotel for enabling us to stay amidst the snow-capped mountains and peach blossoms! Grateful to the netizens who shared their experiences, and grateful for all the encounters!"

"The hotel is not far from the best viewpoint. Its Tibetan-style exterior is beautiful, and it has decent parking. The interior is simply decorated and bright. The bedding in the room is very clean and in excellent condition. There's a detailed video demonstration of how to use the oxygen machine. Large floor-to-ceiling windows with automatic curtains offer panoramic views of Namcha Barwa Peak, while a small square pool in front of the window reflects the sky and clouds – a thoughtful design touch. Furthermore, when they learned we would be leaving early the next day, the staff quickly provided us with portable bread and cakes, which was very thoughtful!"

"The Milinga Yunjing Hotel in Suosong Village is the most pleasant and satisfying stay experience for our 318 self-driving trip. The hotel is located in the highlands of the village, occupying the golden view of Nanga Bawa Peak, unobstructed, and the unique location is unmatched by the observation deck elsewhere. The village is being unified and renovated. A small amount of construction during the day is a staged situation. The road is smooth and passable, and the driving up is very smooth. Wait patiently, there is a high probability that you can see the beautiful sunshine of Jinshan.
The rooms are exquisitely furnished, the mattresses are just right, and the rest is very relieved; the rooms are equipped with perfect screens, and there are no mosquitoes disturbed throughout the process. The hardware is exquisitely crafted, the details are humanized, and there are 24-hour continuous oxygen supply and electric blankets. The store is simple and enthusiastic, take the initiative to help carry luggage, and the service is sincere. The restaurant uses local original ecological ingredients, the price is reasonable, especially recommended steak soup pot and Matsutake chicken soup pot, tomato scrambled eggs are the children's favorite. "Absolutely loved this guesthouse! When I booked, there weren't many reviews, but I figured a new place couldn't be too bad, and I was so right—it exceeded my expectations.
The location is fantastic, right next to the famous Taohuayun spot. It's a five-story building with its own courtyard and parking. The room was spacious, equipped with smart devices, a large TV, and a TOTO bathroom with excellent water pressure. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; it was the best night's sleep I had in Tibet. Unlike other hotels where it gets chilly in the early morning and you can't even keep your arms outside the covers, this place was perfect. They even have diffused oxygen, which brought my blood oxygen levels right up to 98, and the room felt comfortably humid.
The view from the fifth-floor restaurant is stunning! The steam pot chicken at the restaurant, while a bit pricey for two and more than we could finish, was totally worth it—we ended up packing the leftovers. The rice cakes for breakfast were absolutely delicious.
What truly stood out was seeing Mount Namcha Barwa and the 'sunlit golden mountain' phenomenon! I took tons of photos at the guesthouse's own camp, which has a small pond and barley fields – perfect for stunning shots. I even went down to take more pictures in the middle of dinner.
All the staff at the guesthouse were wonderful. Highly recommend it!"

It's conveniently located just over 10 minutes from Nyingchi Mainling Airport and offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off services. Nyingchi's altitude is under 3,000 meters, with lush vegetation and ample oxygen, effectively helping to prevent altitude sickness.
The high-end amenities and butler service here exceeded my expectations. The butler proactively contacted me to arrange airport transfers, assist with check-in, turn on the underfloor heating in advance, and provide local sightseeing recommendations. The ******* staff were incredibly genuine and warm.
The guesthouse also provides a rich breakfast spread, including comforting hot rice noodles. For dinner, the ******* stone pot chicken and yak meat hot pot are must-tries, which you can enjoy in the panoramic restaurant while soaking in the views.
In short, this is a highly recommended and truly precious place to stay!"
