"Didn't enjoy my stay here due to the poor sound proofing. I could hear my neighbours in the middle of the night for both nights I was there (up to 1am and 3am respectively). Had to call the front desk to stop but it didn't help. People were laughing loudly and talking loudly in Japanese. Seems like they gathering there for some party.
Breakfast was really bad too. This is the worst hotel breakfast I ever had. Only the view (21F sky lounge venue) was nice. Don't pay extra for this.
Room is quite run down and the toilet bathroom as well. Didn't use it but go to the onsen instead.
Parking is 1000yen per night and you are allowed to enter and exit many times.

"Just checked out today and am heading back home. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Makuhari-Toyosuna subway station exit. The lobby features a luggage storage area, a lounge, and an amenities station where complimentary coffee is available. It was also convenient to grab any personal care items I needed from the lobby on my way back to the room each day. The hotel was spotlessly clean; rooms were tidied daily, with fresh bed linen, bath towels, and even pajamas provided. The staff were always smiling, greeted guests warmly, and made us feel very welcome. A large shopping mall is just a 50-meter walk from the hotel, and on the ground floor, there are also restaurants and a convenience store, making both travel and dining incredibly convenient!"

not all staffs in the hotel (and in the local shops) can speak english and you should be prepared to speak japanese around chiba, which i assume is part of the reason why the stay is relatively affordable with amazing quality
chiba is a good city too, very nice to walk around and in 20 minutes you can head to inage for one of the best sea views of tokyo bay, seems like theres bbq there too its crazy

- can speak japanese (or is at least willing to work on it)
- like small japanese cities
there are also a few other similarly priced hotels in the area, i have only stayed in this one and i was too lazy to transfer to another during my stay, i believe hotels in chiba are generally great like this due to lower tourist traffic"

"The hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the station.
The staff are very friendly, and the hotel feels new overall. However, there were a few minor imperfections in my room, such as a chipped corner of the baseboard.
I stayed in December and used the air conditioner for heating, which worked fine.
Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, with access by room key via the elevator. The selection is quite good and includes European options. The menu changes slightly, so it does not get boring. There are signs asking guests to return their used trays themselves, so please keep that in mind.
Regarding the signs, I was surprised that in this hotel you need to specifically request room cleaning at the reception. I have stayed in many hotels where the door sign has two sides, “Do Not Disturb” and “Please Clean the Room”. Here, the sign had only one side, “Do Not Disturb”. I think this is something the hotel could improve, as it is not very convenient to ask for room cleaning separately.
It would also be helpful to add more English translations. For example, all the buttons on the TV remote control are labeled only in Japanese, and the notice on the slippers saying “please do not take them home” is also only in Japanese. I can understand some Japanese, but for other foreign guests this may be confusing."

Apaka ganda! This is a business hotel, kya full service cla. Di na aku nag avail ng breakfast kc nga, bawat sulok may kainan. Since this is 1.5 hours from tokyo. Laking tipid dito. Ung pamasahe from chiba to tokyo nsa 300-500 pesos lang. Para ka lang nag taxi. Di kna lugi. Got it for a special. Nsa 2k lang per night. Mas ok dito kesa capsule na para kang nasa loob ng crematorium. Ahaha 🤣 Sana after ng review na to di cla mag taas ng price. Ahaha"

"The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of Chiba Central Park, very close to the Yoshikawa Park monorail station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chiba-Chuo Station.
The room I had was only partially renovated, and the bathroom fixtures felt quite old-fashioned, though the bedding was decent. The room itself was pretty spacious, but not as large as stated on Trip.com; I'd estimate it to be around 20-22 square meters. It came with two single beds, two chairs, and a tea table.
Dining options nearby are plentiful, but if you're looking for shopping, I'd recommend SOGO and BIC CAMERA near Chiba-Chuo Station for a wider selection.
Breakfast is a buffet, costing 1980 JPY per person. It offers both Japanese and Western options, providing good value for money with a wide variety and tasty dishes. You can even try Chiba's local specialty, the Rakka Peanuts Monaka.
Nearby attractions include Chiba Port, Inohana Castle Ruins, and Kisarazu Outlet Park. Getting to Makuhari Messe is also quite convenient from here."

The room is bigger than usual japanese hotel rooms, toilet is separated from the shower.

WWalter Zhou-zhouyipingI booked this hotel near the exhibition hall in advance. The hotel has two wings, and you'll see a sign when you come from the subway station. I booked the Premier room. The front desk is right by the restaurant on the first floor of the lobby. Check-in was efficient, and the service attitude was excellent. The hotel's decor is a bit old, but it's very well-maintained. The room size is quite large for this price range, and it's fully equipped. When you open the curtains, the view is pretty good. The hotel's location is fantastic, directly opposite the JR station, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There's even an outlet mall here [smiley face][smiley face][smiley face]. It's a 10-minute walk to the exhibition hall. A subway ride to central Tokyo only takes about 40 minutes. The hotel breakfast offers good choices, and the taste is also great. Premier guests can also enjoy the all-day restaurant with coffee and afternoon tea.

Ccottoncandy28My 5-night stay at Hotel Francs was very positive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. The room size is standard for Japan, which was perfectly fine. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. The hotel's location is a major plus, being close to the train station and Mitsui Outlet, which has many restaurants and convenience stores. Getting here from the airport was also convenient via the limousine bus, which stops right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a room with a balcony in Japan for the first time, and the view was fantastic. A definite advantage of an older hotel like this is its outstanding service. I purchased breakfast vouchers separately, and it was quite good, with all ingredients being locally sourced. Plus, it's conveniently located quite close to Mitsui, easily reachable on foot.

AAnonymous UserThe main purpose of this trip is to go to Makuhari to see the exhibition. I chose to stay in Soga mainly because it is close to the seaside Makuhari Station. It is only a few stops away. It saves a lot of time compared to traveling back and forth from downtown Tokyo. The hotel is also easy to find. Soga Five minutes walk from the station.
The hotel room size is considered medium by Japanese standards. The hardware is clean, but it has a sense of age. Soga Station is a JR station. There are convenience stores and restaurants near the station. I don't think there is a big shopping mall. It is far inferior to Chiba Station. Far away, relatively deserted.
I booked breakfast for Yen 1,800. It was convenient and the food quality was OK.

GGuest UserThis was my first hotel in Tokyo, about an hour from Narita Airport by bus, which cost around 60 RMB. We got off right at the hotel entrance. The male staff at the front desk had a very stiff service attitude. For breakfast, there weren't many options, but it was clean, which was a plus. Across from the hotel is an outlet mall, which is worth a visit. About 2 kilometers away, there's an Aeon supermarket, and a bit further is an Aeon shopping mall, which is incredibly huge! However, I don't think it's very suitable for tourists. There's a subway station about 500 meters away. Overall, the transportation is quite good.

RRyokoConvenient near the station. There are restaurants around and it is substantial. Arrived late at night, but it was smooth with automatic check-in. Breakfast is free and you wake up slowly in the morning and eat breakfast and leave. Because the breakfast venue is small, it is crowded because it was a holiday, so it is good that the hotel side devises so that the guests do not overlap too much.

Fflysheep73The hotel is old, but the maintenance is not bad. Come to Muzhang mese to participate in the exhibition. The hotel is close to Muzhang Benxiang Station, you need to take the bus to the seaside Muzhang Station. Breakfast needs to be paid extra, and overall the breakfast for two days is quite rich.
The front desk can ask for bath salts for the bath.
There is a fried pork chop curry shop out of the station that tastes good and the quantity is large. The convenience stores of the two hotels are nothing to eat.

LLini KaloumairaIt’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff.
Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available.
Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point.
Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned.
I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time.
suggestions:
(1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues.
(2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while.
