"Lovely stay! Beautiful hotel, with fabulous pools and direct access to a pristine beach with stunning sunsets. Service was also really good. Tons of restaurants to eat within walking distance. Top class place! My only suggestion is to install coffee machines for breakfast - espressos and cappuccinos are not complimentary, only brewed black coffee is served."

"This is a fantastic hotel that makes you want to return. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-laid out, with great natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and cozy, providing an excellent night's sleep with absolutely no noise disturbances. The bathroom was spotless, and the hot water was consistent and convenient to use. The staff were friendly, attentive, and promptly resolved any issues. The hotel environment was quiet and elegant, immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere. The location is excellent, making travel easy, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. It offers incredible value for money, and my overall experience was perfect. Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. "The room was okay, it was very affordable. The bed was very comfortable and great sleeps. The location is fine, nothing around but it was close to the Bellevue where I had a few wedding events so it was very convenient for me. It’s not far from the main area (not walking distance) and there are tuk tuks which you can take to get there. Staff were very helpful, though there was a lot and sometimes I felt like everyone was staring at me when I was talking with one staff member. Laundry service was super quick and cheap. The room needs some work, the bathroom was very mouldy and damp. The swimming pool area needs some chairs or something to make it more inviting But for the price it was great"

"It's one my memorable experience hotel in my recent trip. All staff are very friendly. If you're looking for the best sunset view, look no further because their rooftop bar is amazing and have incredible sunset view. Gym is very tiny  so I think that this facilities that they need to improve and expand if they can. In terms of location, a bit out from the central Alona beach but I like that it's quiet and closer to The mist restaurant. Around 5 to 7 mins Tuktuk ride to Alona Beach. I would not recommend booking an activities via reception tho as I find it a bit overpriced. There are other options! Buffet breakfast has a variety of selections. My room and the bed is heaven and the  balcony is overlooking the beach and with an amazing sunset view and it soooo spacious!! If you're going out at night for bar hopping and clubs try to leave a little early as there's not enough tuk tuk outside around 10 or 11 to take you there. Going back to your hotel is not a problem as there's more transport in the central area. Overall, it was an amazing and memorable experience. "

"had a pleasant stay for 3 nights!! the staff are very friendly and accommodating towards our requests & queries. searched reviews about them before booking, it's true that they serve good food with an affordable price. as for the noise, we didn't encounter unbearable ones and still had a good night sleep for 3 nights. i definitely recommend this whether you are a couple, friends, or a family."

"Staying at Oceanica was a great experience who wants to escape the bustle city life.... the views of the beach, garden and mini forests were quite calm and relaxing. If you want to get moving just head to the recreation and fitness facility... If you re hungry just head to the restaurants and bars, and enjoy the delicious foods and refreshing drinks. Room is clean and spacious.. staffs are courteous and nice. Will come back again, next time will tag along our kids."

"We stayed 4 nights at Alona Northland Resort. Everything was perfect. Well located, just 10 mns walk from the beach. You can find lots of restaurants nearby. The room we had was spacious and clean. Definitely recommend this place if you come to Panglao."

"In general, everything corresponds to the photo, but there are nuances. It’s not clear from the photo, but in fact there is catastrophically little light both during the day (a small window!, and in the evening there is not enough artificial light. This gives the feeling that you are in some kind of basement. Comfort - everything seems to be there, but personally I missed a lot of little things that create comfort. For example, in the bathroom there is no place where you can put bath accessories, in the shower area there is a small soap dish, and in the sink area there are no shelves or anything like that. There are a lot of sockets, but the chargers dangle in them, so you have to constantly check whether the charge is on or not. There is no breakfast even for an additional fee. Things can only be hung on a hanger along the wall, i.e. they will all be on top of each other. The best smell! A very chemical smell that makes it impossible to stay in the room. The employees were never able to explain where it came from, citing that it was hot and therefore (but it’s not Russia, so it’s cold in February, it’s always hot there, so this explanation is much strange), the second version is treatment for mosquitoes (it’s more like the truth, but the staff couldn’t answer how safe it was to breathe it), I was simply offered to imitate the air freshener). I think it’s still the poor quality of the materials and in the heat that’s why it starts to smell so bad. The hotel has its advantages: each house has its own terrace, a large courtyard with lots of greenery, pleasant staff."

"The service at this hotel was truly excellent from start to finish. Even before check-in, the staff were already responsive and helpful. Throughout my stay and even after, their level of service remained consistently impressive. I experienced an issue with the air conditioning in my room, but the staff handled it very quickly and professionally. They even offered a complimentary breakfast as a gesture, which I really appreciated. The hotel also provides a range of convenient services such as arranging tuktuk transport and printing, which made my stay much easier. I also noticed thoughtful details in the room; slippers were provided, there were plenty of hangers and clean water was prepared for rinsing since the tap water is slightly salty due to its proximity to the sea. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay with outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended! ⭐️👍🏻🤩"
