"We stayed here for a couple of nights. The hotel's style really caught our eye; you could stay here just for that! The room was clean, spacious, and new. All the appliances worked perfectly, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The beds and bedding were simply wonderful – better than any previous hotels we've stayed in. The staff were friendly and resolved all our queries in an instant. The breakfast was a buffet with a very diverse menu; I don't think anyone would leave hungry. There's a small beach nearby. Plus, there's convenient scooter parking right at the hotel entrance, which is a big plus. Highly recommend!"

"The location is a pleasant 10-minute walk (straight down the road) to Dumaluan Beach. The grounds are green and well-maintained. Beach towels and hygiene kits (soap, brush, toothpaste) are provided. The room has a safe, refrigerator, kettle, and TV. The Wi-Fi works well. There's a clothes rack with plenty of hangers. On the room's porch, there's a table and a couple of chairs. The hotel team is amazing, the best out of the five hotels we stayed at in the Philippines: all issues were resolved instantly. They even escorted us to our pre-booked airport transfer at 5 AM, which we arranged through reception. They also organized a Bohol tour for us in a private car with a driver for 3000 pesos (there are many tour and transfer options available, all information is displayed in the reception area). There's a cafe on site. Service is fast, and everything is delicious. Massage services are also available. As for the downsides: the room provided didn't match the photos in the booking. What was most disappointing was the air conditioning (the photo showed a split AC, but in reality, it was a wall-mounted unit that roared so loudly for the first two nights that even earplugs didn't help. They cleaned it later, and it got quieter, but it still blows very loudly – on the upside, you can't hear the neighbors or the roosters outside!). The beds are uncomfortable (a hard plywood base with a rather thin mattress covered in faux leather and a sheet. The feeling is exactly as you'd imagine). There were also issues with the toilet flush. There are a lot of mosquitoes, because of them, we only used the cafe once, it's difficult to be outside. In summary: for the price offered, it's a great option. The question is whether to overlook the negatives or pay more for comfort."

"I was very disappointed after seeing breakfast buffet in this hotel! Knowing that it wasn’t cheap hotel and has lots of branches over Philippines, I didn’t expect that the buffet would be considering only Philippino and Chinese taste. Eggs weren’t even cooked well, hash brown smelled with old oil, most of the food contains pork, not much fruit choice ( only two ) , coffee tasted as though coffee machine wasn’t cleaned for ages. I raised a complaint knowing I had food poisoning after 2 consecutive days! All I heard is sorry we can provide you veggies … is it a best offer knowing how much we paid for this hotel! Then at least give people option of not including breakfast to the room price. Concerning room no problem, clean and nice."

"Pretty good, very clean. Everything about the place really highlights that vacation feel. The forest is so peaceful, with only the sounds of birds. From the room, you can only hear the playful splashing from the pool, and at the beach, just the waves. The only downside is that the bathroom makes some noise, probably the sound of water."

"The hotel experience was mixed depending on the room assigned. The first room was in okay condition, although there was a slight smell. The second room was not the best, but the last room we received was very good and much more comfortable. So overall, the experience may vary depending on which room you get. We really enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool, which was very nice. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is convenient if you need quick access to the airport, especially for late-night or early-morning flights. However, it is quite far from the city center, so getting a taxi or tuk-tuk can sometimes be challenging unless you book through the Maxim app, which requires a local phone number for registration."

"Very good service and very accommodating. All the staff were wonderful, and the breakfast selection was excellent. I especially loved their hot chocolate and Filipino delicacies. They kindly approved my early check-in and even prepared a birthday surprise, as shown in one of the photos. The place is very clean and has a beautiful beachfront. We will be back soon. Love that food and drinks has reasonable pricing. Overall i am impressed."

"I had originally booked a swim-up room for three nights, from February 6th to 8th. However, due to a typhoon, the Cebu to Bohol ferry was suspended. I tried to negotiate with the hotel to get a refund for the first night (Feb 6th), but they were incredibly rigid and refused to budge. In the end, Trip.com refunded me for that night. I then extended my stay for an additional night on the 9th. Honestly, after checking in, I'd say it's a hotel with good value for money. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, so you'll need to take a tuk-tuk, which costs 100 PHP per ride. The entire hotel seemed to be filled with Korean guests... The breakfast was simple but sufficient to fill you up."

"I stayed at Bohol Haitang Resort for one night as a temporary stopover while getting my diving certification in Bohol. It was perfectly adequate for that purpose. The ground floor room I stayed in felt quite damp, and the overall cleanliness was just average. I noticed stains around the sink and in the corners of the bathroom, so the cleaning wasn't very thorough. The upside is its convenient location, not far from the dive shop, making it suitable for a quick stay or short overnight. I wouldn't recommend it if you have high standards for accommodation and cleanliness. However, if you're on a budget and just need a simple place to crash for diving, without being too picky about your lodging, then staying here for a night could be an option."

"The room was very well equipped; a large and comfortable bed, a very spacious wardrobe, a safe, a fridge, a TV, a terrace with a table, chairs, and a wooden drying rack, plus air conditioning. The breakfast was good, although there wasn't much variety. I missed having proper coffee from a machine; they only had instant coffee. It's quiet and in a good location, close to Alona beach and restaurants. Very clean. There's a pool with a garden and sun loungers. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Recommended."
