RRightkangWe stayed at the Dream Island Treehouse, choosing a first-floor unit to be closer to the animals. However, the soundproofing was quite poor. If the upstairs guests checked in late or woke up early, we could hear their conversations and luggage being dragged, which disturbed our rest.
The Dream Island is on an island, so it gets quite humid at night, which is unavoidable. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend bringing disposable bedding; otherwise, you might feel a bit itchy. On the positive side, the staff provided excellent service, and the cleaning ladies were very diligent and thorough. Even with the doors open, we didn't have any mosquitoes, which was great for welcoming the little animals.
Right next to our room was where the animals lived. They had two outdoor playtimes a day, morning and afternoon, allowing us to interact with them right away. The red pandas, capybaras, and ring-tailed lemurs were incredibly cute and harmless. The animals would enter our room completely at their leisure, so a little gentle guidance was sometimes needed.
Dream Island is also very close to the morning restaurant, and you can even feed giraffes, deer, and zebras from your table, which was fantastic.
It felt like the entire zoo was designed around the hotel; all the fun was right around our accommodation.
Overall, our child loved it, the service was excellent, and the parents were very satisfied.
(If you visit the Ice and Snow World, remember shoe covers and long pants. For self-driving feeding, just rent one of the park's electric carts for free to go feed the animals.)
