"Having had a good experience staying here previously, I chose this hotel again for my trip to Puli. This time, I booked the Deluxe Family Room, which was very spacious and came with two generously sized beds. The bathroom was also well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious too; I was particularly impressed that the water bamboo shoots (jiao bai sun) were served whole, and they were so tasty!"

"The hotel itself has a large space for leisure walking, as well as a sand pool, a small swimming pool, a slide, and a swing for children to play. The children had a lot of fun. The large floor-to-ceiling windows and large balconies in the guest rooms have a great view. The guest rooms are also large enough, with constant sounds of frogs and birds. It is very comfortable to take a bath in the room!"

The room is elegant and comfortable, with plenty of spares, two packets of biscuits delicious, capsule coffee machine and tea bag, dehumidifier is also opened for the guests first, although there is a balcony, but the landscape is blocked, unfortunately.
The breakfast was full and the food was delicious. I could see the sincerity of the homestay."

"Before coming here, I didn’t expect to have such a yearning experience. I feel that Richu Yunlai is a vacation place that is different from other homestays and hotels. Although it was only three days, our family enjoyed the leisurely life in the manor and the hospitality full of human touch. From passing through the gate of the manor, seeing the sea of clouds and the sky full of stars from the balcony of the room, until having a slow breakfast in the private manor and chatting with the staff, this place really made us feel, as the owner said, leaving the noisy city and arriving at a good place close to the sky."

JJC__Overall, it’s a good B&B with good CP value! There is almost no difference between the actual condition of the room and the photos. It is very convenient to have an elevator. It is not bad to have breakfast on the top floor! The service staff are also very enthusiastic, and parking is very convenient ~ but the location is located in Itashao, and the mountain road is a bit difficult to drive.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay here! The hotel location is super convenient, in the middle of the forest, but it is easy to get there. The staff was friendly, the hotel room was amazing and big with great views. The hotel also has 2 restaurants with great and healthy hotpot, shop to buy fresh fruit and souvenirs. Gaming room, which was great for our 4 year old while we could enjoy our dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel really prepared it with great care.
The atmosphere of the whole evening was very lively, and people who were strangers seemed to be very familiar with each other.
It will boost the atmosphere and add a touch of human touch to the New Year.
It's also a pet-friendly environment.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and came with a bathtub, which made our stay very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel facilities were also great, offering good ways to pass the time. My only minor complaint is that the indoor swimming pool was too cold. I had assumed an indoor pool would be warm, but it was so chilly we only went in once. Otherwise, everything would have been perfect!
A big bonus was the complimentary one-hour bicycle rental vouchers provided by the hotel. Our family of four really made the most of them, getting some great exercise cycling around Sun Moon Lake. It was an amazing experience!
The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to the food street and the Sun Moon Lake Ropeway. It was so convenient not having to drive everywhere. We'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserGreat location as the hotel is right in the center of the Ita Thao town where you can easily walk to the lake, pier, hiking/bike trail, and foodie places. Hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help every step if asked. The high floor suite is sizable with fairly large jacuzzi tub and shower room. A private balcony provides a partial view to the lake. Free designated parking garage is a plus in a crowded town. The lake view however is partially blocked by some apartments in front but the hotel is still close to the water front. The hotel building, incl room, furnitures and decorations, does show some age and is about right to have its current star rating and price. We definitely enjoyed the stay.

KKuang yunThe hotel's facilities are excellent overall. There's a recreation room, so even if it's too hot to go out in summer, you won't get bored staying in the hotel all day. Bicycles are available for guests to borrow, and the breakfast spread is quite generous 👍.
We stayed in a deluxe lake view room this time, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to that scenery made the stay completely worthwhile. The room also had a small balcony.
The only minor drawback is its distance from shopping, restaurants, and convenience stores. Since we didn't have our own transportation, we made sure to grab all our snacks and necessities from a convenience store before heading back to the hotel, which meant we didn't need to go out again in the evening. This proved to be no issue at all, though.
The hotel does provide a shuttle service to the shopping street; you can inquire about the schedule at the front desk. We absolutely loved our stay overall!

The only drawback is that after 5 PM, if you venture out to the nearby village, you'll have to walk back on foot. Parking spaces are also quite limited. Therefore, if you have a lot of luggage or dislike walking long distances, you might consider driving out to explore, but be prepared to park a considerable distance away.
