"We were pleasantly surprised upon check in, as we did not expect a island hotel could be so clean and bright. Everything was functioning well. Except the TV, because it’s a nice big TV that is not connected to any source. Not sure whether it’s just us or the entire hotel.
Breakfast is decent.
Our only dissatisfaction is that we smell cigarettes smoke during our first night. We alerted the reception and we were asked to leave our doors opened for a few minutes to ventilate the room, and then to cover up the smell with air freshener."

"JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST HOTEL.
While the hotel's facilities are adequate and its location offers acceptable proximity to the port, the poor service we experienced did not justify the significantly higher price we paid for a supposedly four-star resort.
Specifically, the bidet in our assigned room was not functioning. When we reported this, a front office supervisor named Ute was demonstrably dishonest, claiming that all rooms had non-functional bidets due to a 'western style' and offering more toilet tissue as a solution. This excuse proved false when we checked several other rooms of the same type and found their bidets to be working perfectly. Upon confronting Ute with this discrepancy, she continued to deny her initial statement, offering unreasonable excuses and failing to provide any apology or resolution. It was only after escalating the issue to the Manager on duty that we were finally moved to another room with a functioning bidet. The fact that a HOTEL SUPERVISOR LIED to keep us in a room with a known issue while others were available is unacceptable.
Despite the convenient location, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the substandard service and lack of transparency. There are likely other establishments in the area that offer a far superior experience for the price."

"Very beautiful place in front of the beach with an excellent staff and service. People are warm and very helpful if you have any questions or need any help. The rooms is clean and cozy.
The room for 2 is a bit small I will say, might need to choose a bigger option if you like having a bit more space. I will add that I thought it was a bit dark and missing some daily light inside. The bathroom outside with open sky was good until the rain and wind were too strong to actually use it. The environment around the hotel is very peaceful and not too busy compared to the center. You can easily rent a bike and go to the center at any time if you want. Very convenient. You have a very good restaurant next door with great selection or food and beverages as well."

"Don’t believe the pictures in the advertisement! They don’t reflect reality. The pictures pretend that the hotel is at least a 4 * location. The truth is that this is not the case! It is located at a very poor area in mid of the island where local people burn their trash including plastic. The smell is disgusting it is everywhere, in your room also during night and it burns in your eyes. The hotel is run by a group of very young unprofessional boys and I would like to emphasise that they are really friendly, kind and helpful and try to do their best. They also prepare breakfast in a kitchen which is disgusting! Therefore, I preferred to have breakfast at a proper place even though breakfast was included. See the attached fotos to get an impression what expects you and better choose another hotel if you want to enjoy your holidays. I had to pay 400 € for 3 nights, it is not worth half the price. I tried to get a reimbursement but the hotel didn’t accept. They obviously see the hotel as a cash cow and not a place where their guest should feel comfortable. This was very frustrating! At the end Trip. com accepted my complaint and offered me help. My advice: Choose a hotel at the beach, there are so many!"

I wish people didn't know how friendly and warm the staff at this hotel is.
I wish other people didn't know how happy it is to eat a delicious breakfast while listening to the sound of birds and carriages and the sea breeze.
I wish people didn't know how enjoyable it is to walk back to room with a clean and beautifully maintained garden.
Above all, I hope the others don't know how fantastic it is to sit on the beach in front of the hotel and drink beer while watching the sunset.
I hope that when I travel here again, people will notice what this place is good and it won't be so full that I won't be able to stay here.
I was planning to stay on the Gili for two days, but stayed for two more. Although I had to give up southern Bali tour, I was able to have a happier time thanks to it.

"Great villa for a romantic getaway. The villa is beautiful, great private pool, well equipped kitchen to cook as well, bathroom was spacious but hope they can change the hairdryer because its too slow, friendly and helpful staff. All in all a super great stay!
The cons would be the location of the villa its a bit in the inland of the island about 5-7mins bike ride from the jetty / town centre, walking can take upwards to 15mins so do rent a bike right away when you arrive at the jetty or you could ride the horse carriage if you’re not bothered by the white people none sense. When at night the roads can be dark so make sure to bring flashlights and when it’s raining the roads can be a bit muddy."

"We stayed as two couples and had a spectacular time at Kelapa. Ren the manager was ready to help our every need straight away and helped us book bikes and trips. She went as far as confirming we didn't pay too much when we booked others on our own. The villa itself was clean, tidy and exactly what we were looking for. The pool is huge but rather deep for the most part so you'll want to keep an extra eye on children.
The Kelapa boys would come by to clean the place every morning about 10-11am and did an excellent job. They were very polite and made sure not to go into your room to clean without asking first.
I gave one less star on location because it's in the heart of the island where it's much quieter. If you're looking for a night out you'll definitely need a bike or carriage arranged, otherwise you can expect a long walk home.
We originally booked 3 nights and very quickly decided to add on to our stay. Thanks so much Ren and Team for an unforgettable visit!

TTutukiatVilla is situated not far away from the ferry terminal. About 10-15mins walk. It would be good if hotel can provide free bicycle rental service instead of charging because there is a distance to walk in from the main pavement to the villa.
Service staff were very friendly and efficient.
Villa itself is pretty basic, room size is abit small but the shower room is huge and pretty.
The swimming pool in the middle of the villas looks gorgeous in day and at night.

AAndreKaleydo Villas is a fantastic choice for a relaxing stay in Gili Trawangan. The room and enclosed bathroom are spotless, keeping insects out and ensuring comfort. The staff is incredibly hospitable and helpful. Breakfast is generous, can choose multiple menu options. A highlight is the free, unlimited bike rental, ideal for exploring the island. The villa is located on the quieter side of Gili T, offering a peaceful retreat away from the noisy party areas. It’s just a 5-minute walk to several dive centers, as well as nice cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended for a tranquil and convenient stay!

GGuest UserWe walked all the way from the pier to the hotel that day. Of the hotels we passed along the way, Pondok was the most beautiful, stunning at first glance. Each room was a standalone villa, and we booked a garden-view villa, which was our favorite of the several room types. The hotel is located south of Gili T Island. Turn right and walk for five or six minutes to a stunning sunset spot. The breakfast was hearty and you could enjoy it by the sea.
Next to the hotel restaurant is a bicycle parking lot. Report your room number and rent for free. There are children's bikes and those with pillion seats. The staff was super nice.

It’s 10mins walk from the jetty to the resort. Resort is located at turtle point and is more quiet compared to the hotels/resorts near the jetty. You will be welcomed with cold towel and it is so soothing after walking under the hot sun. The resort is so beautiful from the outside and their room especially their bathroom is Da bomb!! Their staffs are so thoughtful and attentive. they They set up our room very nicely when they know we are coming for honeymoon. They gave us complimentary cake. Their breakfast spread is good and decent. By far the best resort I have stayed in Lombok with such a steal promo from agoda. Will definitely recommend couples to stay here and we will definitely be back to stay at AlMarik. Thanks you for the superb hospitality.❤️

～～YugisVery beautiful hotel. It has the best swimming pool on the island, but there are not enough seats by the pool. The family room is also quite large, and the beds can basically accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. There is no clothes drying rack. Playing at the beach requires at least one set of swimsuit to be changed and washed every day, so laundry is still necessary. Fortunately, I brought my own clothes drying rod.

The room itself was quite small & bathroom was not amazing.
I did sleep well as the blinds are good and air con can easily be adjusted.
Water is provided but really they could give more than one bottle so you don’t have to request more.
I booked this place because reviews said breakfast was amazing but I honestly didn’t think it was that special. You pick a main off a menu & then there is a buffet of pastries (which were very good for hotel pastries), fruit & juice. Coffee is additional which for the price really should be included. Maybe better depending on what you order from the menu.
Location is the far side from the port but every resort still turns into a party venue playing loud music from 4pm. Can we not just sit and watch the sunset listening to the waves?
Beach on this side has a lot of coral/rocks so swimming in the ocean you need water shoes.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Samba Villas for 5 nights and loved the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were clean and were spacious. Good location and truly enjoyed the area. The staff greets you with a smile and willing to help in any way. We had back messages for a 1/2 hour every night and even got pedicures. Would highly recommend.

This little villa was the perfect peaceful retreat during my time on Gili T. The rooms were clean, cosy, and beautifully styled with natural wooden touches — you can tell real care has gone into the place.
But what truly made it special were the staff — incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and help with anything I needed, from local tips to arranging transport.
It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, but still just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. If you’re looking for a relaxed and authentic stay with warm hospitality, Java Wood is a gem. Highly recommend!

KKaren RostelWe were welcomed by welcoming drinks, the check in process was super easy, the host will took a photo of your passport and provide you the keys. the bed were clean but the floor was a bit dusty with few of the tiles are loose and not adhere to the floor, the host might need to take a not on this due to potential hazard to anyone. room comes with aircond and it can get pretty cold at night. it is just their location is quite pretty a distance, I recommend if you wanna stay here you might need to bring a backpack instead of a luggage. I rented a electric mini scooter from nearby the port for my transportation due I carried a luggage and it still took me 15 minutes ride from the room to the port, but if you bring a backpack you can rent a bicycle to go round the island. i had a nice stay 🙌🏻
