Suzhou Xichengyue Hotel (Jinjihu Xietang Old Street Branch)

A few years ago, I went to Xietang Old Street and found a garden-style hotel hidden deep in the old street. This time, I stayed in your hotel during the New Year trip. It was great! Especially the breakfast tasted very good, and the dining time was also very friendly (7 am to 11 pm). I hope I can stay the same in the future... The family suite I stayed in was very unique. The Suzhou courtyard-style hotel was very special, but the service was a bit average, not as good as the four-star or five-star chain hotels. It felt old, and there was no partition between the rooms, which was like being in one room, a weird suite.

I went to Suzhou with my dad and my dog. It was difficult to book a room during the Spring Festival, so I didn't have high expectations. The hotel was surprisingly good. The room was large and clean, with new facilities, a smart toilet, and a large shower. The hotel prepared a dog bed in advance, as well as a bowl and rice bowl for the dog, which at least made me feel that the cleaning fee was not wasted. The breakfast was quite rich and the quality was online. The coffee was surprisingly delicious, unlike many star-rated hotels where the beans were difficult to swallow. There were also fish and shrimp that my dad loved to eat, which tasted good, and there were all kinds of snacks, wontons, and noodles. It's a 25-minute drive from the old city and quite close to Jinji Lake. It's quite suitable for self-driving. I will consider this hotel next time.

You don't need to call, just communicate on WeChat to meet your needs. It's very good. The environment of the hotel is quite antique, and I like this atmosphere very much. There is an old street outside the hotel, so you don't have to worry about eating, just choose whatever you want. The breakfast variety is slightly small, probably because of the size of the restaurant, which is understandable, but the food is delicious and suits our taste. The only shortcoming is that the lighting in the room is dim, and it is a little dark when all the lights are turned on, which can be improved. Everything else is basically excellent... A good trip.
