Came to Suzhou Olympic Sports Center with friends to see Stefanie Sun's concert, so we decided to spend the weekend in Zhouzhuang. The Pullman is conveniently located near the scenic area. The service was excellent; not only did we receive welcome drinks, but they also upgraded us to lake view rooms, even though the hotel was fully booked for the weekend! One room was on the third floor and the other on the sixth. My friend and I compared and felt that the lake view from the lower floor was actually better, as the higher floor felt a bit far from the lake. The hotel's parking lot is outdoors, and you can also ask the doorman for valet parking. If you park yourself, there's a shuttle service to take you back to the lobby entrance, both options are very convenient. The room facilities were also great; the TV in this hotel was the only one in the past three months that we've stayed at that could connect to our casting device! Finally, we could watch videos from our phones. For breakfast, you could even get Aozhao noodles at the hot food station!

I visited Suzhou during the May Day holiday and booked a five-star hotel from the Accor Group. The hotel is located near the Xiangcheng District government building, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. The front desk upgraded my room, which was a nice touch. The air conditioning in the room worked well and was quiet, and the shower had good water pressure. Breakfast offered a mix of Western and Chinese options, with a wide selection of Western pastries. During the holiday, the noodle station had a bit of a queue, and you had to get a number first, which tested my patience. Overall, the hotel is worth staying at.

Guest UserThis is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place.
When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season?
Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good.
In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was.

CaptZongThe Pullman Changshu far exceeded my expectations; it's truly the benchmark for five-star hotels in Changshu!
The room was spacious and airy. The twin bed setup was incredibly comfortable, with soft and clean bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. The entire room featured a minimalist luxury business decor, with warm wood tones paired with sophisticated gray walls, giving it a high-end yet cozy feel. A full-length mirror by the entrance, a desk and workspace, and a mini-bar were all provided, making it suitable for both business trips and short getaways.
The bathroom's wet and dry separation was exceptionally well-done. The marble countertop was spotless, the shower pressure was strong, and the toiletries were high-quality. The lighted mirror was a thoughtful and practical touch. The whole room was impeccably clean, with no unpleasant odors. The room came standard with a coffee machine, mineral water, and a hot water kettle, providing all the essential amenities for a hassle-free and convenient stay.
The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to hail a taxi, and the surrounding area is well-developed. The service was prompt and attentive, and the front desk staff were gentle and patient, making for a smooth and comfortable check-in and overall stay. The value for money is outstanding. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Changshu for business or leisure!
