"Good location. And could be an amazing hotel. The original design is very stylish but needs to be renewed. The swimming pool would be lovely if some of the tiles were not broken. Our favourite part was the communal area - could play pool, sofas and tables to chill at, very cosy. Lovely view from the balconies and the bathtub. Unfortunately the bathtub plug was broken. Would also recommend giving proper towels, as the single use ones are not enough if you’re using the pool as well."

"If you don't want to just stay home on the weekend but are looking for a different way to relax, Xiangyue Lake is an absolute gem. It's not just about the cabins; it's a huge outdoor sports paradise. My friends and I primarily came for the outdoor activities, and the experience was fantastic! We did archery and played frisbee on the large lawn at Fei Camp, and in the afternoon, we went kayaking and rode a swan boat on the lake. The breeze on the lake in the evening was incredibly refreshing. There's even a professional horse riding facility in the park, with new equipment and a large arena, giving us a real 'Wild West' experience. I heard there are also dedicated forest trails for hiking, but we ran out of time this trip. I'll save that for next time!"

"This is my second stay at this guesthouse, and I'm very satisfied. 1. Service: The guesthouse offers laundry service, a breakfast combining Chinese and Western dishes (it's worth mentioning that all the vegetables for breakfast are grown by the owner's family, making them delicious and healthy; if you want to try local specialties, you can eat here – the food is good and reasonably priced, meat dishes are around 50-60 RMB, and vegetable dishes are 20-25 RMB; I recommend the local chicken soup, which needs to be booked in advance), and additional services: the owner helped us buy tickets for various scenic spots and arranged shuttle buses to take us up the mountain, saving us a lot of money. 2. Facilities: There is parking (not on the roadside), a swimming pool at the entrance, which is disinfected daily, and the bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas. 3. Hygiene: A very commendable point is that the owner's family does all the linen cleaning and housekeeping themselves, not outsourcing to a cleaning company. The linens are changed after each guest, and disinfectant is used during the cleaning process! (After rafting, I went to do laundry and saw it with my own eyes; the linens on the drying area smelled wonderful, just like home.) 4. Environment: Located deep in the village, it's very quiet. There's a shallow, clear stream right outside the door, where children can go wading. Almost every room has a balcony; you can sit on the balcony early in the morning, enjoying the view of the bamboo forest and breathing in the fresh air. Finally, I want to say that the biggest highlight isn't the guesthouse itself, but the owners and their family. They are warm, kind, and always willing to help. Even if you need something late at night, they will help you solve it. And even during the summer peak season, the price isn't outrageously expensive. Unlike many guesthouses in Anji that only do one-time business, this place offers such good service and repeat customers. There are also many foreign tourists there; the guesthouse has a great reputation among them. If you're lucky, you might even get to attend a salon hosted by the foreigners in the lobby. 😋"

"This guesthouse boasts excellent facilities and warm service, but the housekeeping was subpar during my extended stay, and my view was impacted by nearby renovations. 🌿 **Ambiance & Facilities** The guesthouse features a large swimming pool, trampoline, and other recreational amenities, making it ideal for families or group retreats. The overall environment is elegant, nestled against a mountain forest and bamboo grove, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. 🛎️ **Service & Housekeeping** The service was warm and attentive, and disposable bedding was provided. However, basic cleaning (like making the bed or emptying the trash) was not performed during my two-night stay, which detracted from the experience. I recommend improving room service standards to ensure guest comfort. 🍳 **Dining Experience** The breakfast was abundant, offering authentic and fresh meals, including homemade grass jelly and coffee, satisfying my taste buds. The dining service is definitely a highlight and deserves praise. 🏗️ **External Factors** Due to renovations at a neighboring guesthouse, the view from my room was obstructed. I suggest checking for nearby construction before booking or opting for a room with a better view to enhance your stay."

"We recently stayed at Moganshan Mountain Villa for one night and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by stunning scenery that really allows you to appreciate the natural beauty of Moganshan. The interior of the hotel is also very pleasant, with comfortable and well-maintained facilities that make for a relaxing stay. The staff were helpful throughout our visit and were always willing to assist when needed. At times, however, some staff members came across as a little blunt. A warmer, friendlier approach and a few more smiles would help create an even more welcoming atmosphere for guests. There are also a couple of areas where the hotel could be improved. An outdoor table tennis table would be a great addition and would provide another enjoyable activity for guests. Additionally, my girlfriend got a splinter in her foot around the pool area, so it may be worth checking the surfaces there to ensure they are safe and well maintained. Despite these minor points, we had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. The location is fantastic, the surroundings are beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again in the future."

"Unfortunately, our stay coincided with heavy rainfall – reportedly the worst since the hotel opened. Due to the weather and general environment, there was a noticeable dampness and earthy smell in our room, and the lighting was dim. Oddly enough, this created a cozy atmosphere perfect for a rainy day, which my child found quite charming, haha. We stayed in the rammed earth 'Wild Boar' area. The downhill stairs leading to our room during the downpour were quite dangerous, very slippery underfoot. We had to be extremely careful going up and down, and my partner even took a tumble. We reported this safety concern to the front desk when checking out. I'd strongly advise against this room type for elderly guests or families with young children during rainy weather. As for dining, KK French Restaurant was very much to our taste, and breakfast was good too. The Chinese restaurant, however, tended to be a bit salty. Regarding hotel activities, you can just show up at the scheduled time for non-paid activities, no reservation needed. For pottery, I'd recommend booking in advance as their capacity is limited. The shuttle service's response time was generally slow. The串串 (mini-train/cart?) was adorable and well-behaved."

"The hotel overall was decent. It's about a 10-minute drive off the highway, and there's plenty of parking. The only minor inconvenience is that the underground garage doesn't have an elevator, so you have to take the stairs to the first floor. However, you can park by the back door, which has direct elevator access. Check-in at the front desk was very quick. The room was quite spacious and furnished with tasteful rosewood furniture."

"The private hot spring was really great, the water temperature was just right, and I felt completely relaxed after soaking. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, with both Chinese and Western options, and I was very satisfied. I have to commend the service; the butler was especially attentive and arranged everything I needed. The experience was excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Moganshan."

"The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was very warm and the view was amazing. So much light in the room. Location was good, and Didi can take you anywhere from there. And many hiking trails start there as well. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was good. Suitable for vegetarians as well. Last thing, the room was exactly as pictured while booking."
