"The rooms were clean and tidy, and the outdoor pool was very well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me plan my itinerary in detail. The recommended restaurants were all excellent. The guesthouse itself is very charming; the exterior retains the original look of an old house, and inside there's a huge courtyard where you can try fishing and pottery. The location is great, very close to the scenic area – you can walk there, and it's convenient for dining and getting around. Overall, it was a fantastic experience."

"This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful and answered all our questions. They really pay attention to the small details too, providing disposable toilet seat covers, disposable bath liners, and even a Dyson hairdryer. The views are also stunning – right across from our room, we had rice paddies and mountains. You could easily spend a whole afternoon just sitting on the terrace, enjoying a cup of tea."

"Wanfeng Forest is closed in summer! The rice is full of green eyes, the peaks and forests are beautiful, the green mountains and green fields are matched with clear sky, and the scenery is beautiful. "Service: The service was excellent. As soon as we got off the bus, the owner and her friend warmly helped with our luggage and introduced the room beforehand. They eventually arranged for us to stay on the 3rd floor. The room was large with tatami mats, perfect for enjoying tea. They also enthusiastically provided local travel tips and information about electric scooter rentals to avoid the high cost. They also recommended some local delicacies, which was very helpful. The most heartwarming thing was that during the Spring Festival, the owner made a homemade pork knuckle hot pot and invited us to eat with them. Although we didn't go, we were touched by their hospitality – it felt like home. Cleanliness: The room was very clean. The sheets, blankets, and mattress were all very comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. The bathtub in the room was also very nice. Environment: Crucially, the environment was also excellent. There was a large courtyard on the first floor, suitable for playing mahjong, sunbathing, and it seemed like a barbecue area. There was also a rooftop swimming pool, which looked fantastic, even though we didn't use it. Facilities: Very good. A small suggestion: the curtains are a bit poor as they don't block out much light."

The room has magnificent view of Wangfenglin range of mountain, it is tastefully design, clean and comfortable room. The front desk (both 小戴) are very helpful, helping us arranging our trip, transportation etc. it is also very convenient to visit other attraction area and shops and restaurants. The breakfast is also very delicious, every morning the chef 小吳 will greet me and asked me what would i like and bring me the breakfast, you can have your breakfast at the beautiful dining area at the back or the veranda in the garden ."

I'm giving this place a top-tier rating, folks! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is a newly opened spot, and the difference from those older guesthouses is immediately apparent: 1. **Private Courtyard:** You can park right at your doorstep. 2. **Private Pool:** Enjoy swimming and splashing around without even leaving the guesthouse. 3. **Stylish Lobby:** Plenty of Instagrammable lounge areas with a great design aesthetic. 4. **Panoramic Views:** Wake up and gaze at Wanfenglin right from your courtyard – perfect for photos! 5. **Luxury Toiletries:** They actually use Jo Malone for their four-piece amenity set! The owner is incredibly generous – everything smells amazing and feels great. 6. **Premium Water:** Even the bottled water is Baishui Mountain brand – it instantly elevates the experience! Definitely worth the price. 7. **Delicious Breakfast:** The breakfast is tasty and diverse, with super fresh ingredients. The chef is also very polite. 8. **Local Expertise:** Xingyi has so much great food, and the owner is a true local who gave us excellent recommendations. We didn't hit a single bad spot! 9. **Mountain Views Galore:** Open your window and you're greeted with mountain scenery. If you want to escape the city and breathe some fresh mountain air, just come here – it's absolutely worth it!"

"An absolutely wonderful stay! This guesthouse is incredibly well-designed; even the smallest details are eye-catching. Both the rooms and common areas were spotless, and all the in-room amenities were from high-end brands. I initially booked this place because of their dog and cat, knowing my child loves playing with dogs. It turned out to be a great decision – my child spent a large part of our stay playing with 'Fatty' (the guesthouse's dog) and a little white dog from next door. The guesthouse also has a swimming pool, which kept the little one entertained. The garden by the pool is truly amazing – quiet, scenic, and shaded by large trees. Lying there was incredibly cool and the breeze was so relaxing. My father-in-law just intended to wander by the pool, but he got so comfortable on a chair that he couldn't get up and ended up falling asleep! 😂 As for the hostess, from the moment we arrived, we could feel her thoughtfulness and kindness. For example, seeing that we had a child, she preemptively pushed the twin beds together for us. The complimentary fruit in the room was abundant and of excellent quality, unlike the often perfunctory welcome fruit at some hotels. Because we had an early departure, she also arranged for staff to prepare breakfast for us ahead of time the next morning. The recommendations she gave for dining and a spot to catch fish were also fantastic. Before leaving, I told the hostess that we hadn't had enough fun and hoped to stay again if we have the chance. Xingyi is truly a lovely place, and the people we met were all wonderful."

"An unexpected delight during our trip! Our plans were made in a hurry, and we really wanted to stay in Shangnahui Village, but many B&Bs were already fully booked. Then I found Jianxi. The pictures of the rooms looked great, but there weren't many reviews, so honestly, I was a bit nervous and hesitant to book. Traveling with elders and children, I was worried about comfort and hygiene. I called the hotel, had a long chat, and felt much more reassured, so I went ahead and booked. Upon arrival, the room was exactly as pictured. The proprietress and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Though Jianxi isn't huge, you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the design and decoration. The room amenities were excellent and well-designed; the kettle, coffee machine, and mini-fridge were all high quality, and the hairdryer was a genuine Dyson. The bed was super comfortable, and there was even a drying rack on the balcony – the owner truly thought of everything you might need. Parking was conveniently right outside the door and easy to access. While breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it offered everything we wanted. We were in a hurry to go paddleboarding, so I only managed to snap a few photos of my parents' room. The weather in Wanfenglin was truly delightful. We stayed for three days, and the kids still didn't want to leave. If we come back to Wanfenglin in the future, Jianxi will definitely be our top choice again."

"The hotel faces the street and is next to a plaza, so the environment is decent, and it's convenient for shopping and dining nearby. The hotel facilities are okay, but I haven't seen high-floor windows without protective barriers in a long time. I was really disappointed with the hotel breakfast; the dining area is too narrow and cramped. With so many people eating, I kept bumping into chairs and worried about hitting others. Wontons were already gone just past 8 AM, and the food supply was insufficient. There aren't many parking spots above ground, but the underground parking is quite plentiful, and it's free if you provide your room number when leaving."
