Casa Brettino was built in 1839 as evidenced by the stone plaque affixed to the façade of the house by the man who physically built it on a building that had already existed since the 18th century or perhaps earlier. At that time it was a large farmhouse that housed several families, all engaged in the cultivation of the fields around Rio Brettino, the stream that crossed their lands.The Villa Brettino complex was completely renovated in 2015, maintaining some characteristic elements such as the stone floor and the exposed wooden beams.
