Phanom Hotels with Pools

"It was an absolutely wonderful trip. Many thanks to Ms. Buppha J for her warm and professional service. She contacted us in advance while we were still in China, arranged the car reservation and all our itineraries locally, and everything was well-organized. On our first day in Khao Sok National Park, the guide she arranged was excellent. All the other hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks also to Mr. Boy for his kind assistance. I will definitely come back if I get the chance, to see the Rafflesia and enjoy the lake area again!"

"Die Unterkunft liegt an der Strasse zum NationalparkÖ Minimarkets, Restaurants, Tourenanbieter usw. in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Das Zimmer war sauber und gross mit eigener Terrasse, die mit 2 bequemen Liegen, Tisch und Wäscheständer möbliert war. Gutes WLAN, Kühlschrank, Klima Anlage, grosses Bett, man konnte den Pool des Nachbarhotels (gleicher Besitzer) mitbenutzen. Ich blieb 3 Nächte, es war alles unkompliziert, schlicht aber empfehlenswert."

"This hotel is set in a beautiful natural environment, on a limestone cliff with a lake. It felt like being in a jungle, which was lovely. The welcome was good, with butterfly tea and clear explanations. However, it's quite isolated, facing a departmental road far from the city. They offer a taxi service, but it's too expensive. This means the only accessible dining option is the hotel's own restaurant, which is a major drawback: - The service is poor: twice, we had to go and get the menus ourselves. - The staff seemed disengaged and were all on their phones. - The restaurant closes at 8 PM, which is quite astounding. On our second night, we arrived at 7:50 PM, right after a group of 20 people, and were told only fried rice dishes were available because we arrived too late… we clearly have different definitions of 'late'. Imagine if we had gone on a night safari excursion, or checked in at 9 PM – we wouldn't have been able to eat, which is a real problem. - Once ordered, the dishes didn't arrive together. My girlfriend had almost finished her meal by the time mine was served (two fried rice and chicken dishes, by the way). Additionally, we couldn't find a hairdryer, and there was another issue: the room was poorly soundproofed; you could hear everyone as if they were right inside our room."

"The hotel's location is wonderful!! Gorgeous view from the room!! Spacious veranda!! The room is packed with everything you need! There are monkeys running around the hotel grounds, and you can treat them to some fruit. The hotel staff warns you not to leave food, and to close the windows and doors. Excellent coffee, a view of the river. It's nice to drink freshly brewed coffee in the shade))) Breakfast at the hotel... a good selection of dishes, there wasn't enough broth/soup. There are cafes, bars, and the entrance to the reserve nearby. We'll be happy to return to this hotel."

"The photo that promotes this hotel on trip.com features a lake and raft houses on the lake. This is not the reality for this hotel, although it does provide tours that visit this lake, and so initial expectations were not met. However if you want my review of the actual hotel, here goes. The family run hotel provides a cool place to stay for physically fit guests and people who do not suffer too badly with vertigo. All the rooms are tree houses, reached by narrow walkways through the subforest at different levels. The rooms vary in size and height to suit everyone, from 4m to 15m up in the trees. Central to the complex is a nice outdoor pool. I loved it, but remember in humid tropical locations infrastructure does not last long, so don't get upset if a table collapsed or a handrail comes adrift, there is a guy who fixes everything. Food available all day, home cooked and reasonably priced. The hotel.is only 2km from the park gates so location, location, location. But definitely no lake!"

"A magical place! It was like living in a botanical garden :) Peace and quiet surround us. The cottages are clean and cozy. We stayed in room 22, and no sounds from the main street reached us. The receptionists are attentive and caring. We booked all our excursions through them, and there were no issues, the guides were excellent. The girls always wish you a safe trip and good luck, and then rejoice with you when everything went well. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. The location is excellent! The park entrance is 5-10 minutes away. Opposite is the Bamboo bar and restaurant on the second floor with a beautiful view. The hotel description matches the photo."

"The hotel is located in a very beautiful spot, and the view from the hotel grounds is simply stunning. It's perfect for a one-day stop, but no more. The room is a small, detached bungalow with its own separate entrance. I didn't like the bed; the mattress was old and the springs were terrible. There weren't enough towels, in my opinion, only two. The prices at the on-site cafe are high, but that's understandable given that there's absolutely nothing else around for a 20-30 minute drive – no shops or cafes. So, it's acceptable for a short stay. Otherwise, everything was fine!"
