"I stayed at this hotel for three nights in March 2025, and it was a truly unforgettable experience in the heart of the jungle. Located just 1.5 km from the official entrance of Khao Sok National Park, it was the perfect base for organized jungle treks and day trips to Cheow Lan Lake. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! Tucked away from the main road (less than 1 km), the property is fully immersed in the lush nature of Khao Sok, surrounded by tropical vegetation, towering limestone cliffs, and right next to the Sok River. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed by a group of playful monkeys on the doorstep of our treehouse. Watching them jump from tree to tree, swim in the river, and live their carefree lives was magical. While swimming in the river myself, I was even greeted by a group of curious otters – an experience I’ll never forget. The accommodation consists of wooden cottages and treehouses along the riverbank. While simple, it exceeded our expectations: comfy beds with mosquito nets, a spacious and clean bathroom, and even a private balcony. There’s no air conditioning, but fans kept the room comfortable in March. Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas such as the restaurant and reception – which honestly adds to the feeling of being off the grid. Make sure to close the wooden windows when leaving the room, as curious monkeys might try to sneak in. Luckily, we only had a brief visit from a lizard and a cockroach on our last day. Surprisingly, there weren’t many mosquitoes or insects overall. Breakfast was served as a delicious buffet, including fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, coffee, juices, and a few other options. Most tables are located outside on a terrace with a beautiful river view – perfect for watching monkeys during your morning coffee. The on-site restaurant also serves a wide variety of à la carte options until the evening, from traditional Thai dishes to western fast food, ideal if you're too tired to walk to the main road after a full day of activities. The nearest bar is halfway back to the road. The service deserves a special mention: the staff were always smiling, warm, and helpful. We booked several tours directly through the hotel, including a day and night jungle hike and a lake tour – all were well-organized and professional. Khao Sok village itself is very touristy, with many bars, at least five pizza places, and very few truly local Thai restaurants. One real gem is Nongsaw Thai Food, which offers delicious, homemade Thai dishes – but be warned: spicy really means spicy! Overall, my stay in Khao Sok National Park was absolutely amazing. Being so close to untouched nature and wildlife brought peace and calm to my heart. It’s the perfect place to relax, listen to the sounds of the jungle, and forget about all the stress of daily life. There was a noticeably peaceful and respectful atmosphere among all tourists – very different from what you often experience in bigger cities or on Thailand’s popular islands. I truly hope this place stays as it is and doesn’t become overcrowded in the future."

"Highly recommended! We had a room by the pool and it was simple but clean and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and incredibly friendly! The whole complex has a nice atmosphere, visited by monkeys, large, with quiet air conditioning and good location! Good breakfast selection and great help with organizing excursions. Thank you! The only thing would be - the bathroom needs a good cleaning with a strong chemical."

"We had a good stay here. There were a few issues on the first night (air con was broken and expected to stay in the room when others were available, bedding was dirty). However we were promptly moved to another room which was clean and had functioning air con. The accommodation is located well and there are many activities around, the hotel facilitates activities and we had a great time tubing with a guide. There is parking available for guests too. We were late to check in and staff came and opened up and showed us to our rooms, he also fixed the problems that arose on the first night. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall we had a good stay and would come back again."

"Tiny house with huge scenery. Good for travellers with own transport. It worths to stay here at least for one night and enjoy Thai countryside. +: cleanness +: fast internet +: excellent views +: bamboo rafting 10 minutes away by car +: scrambled eggs were cooked excellent -: room size, we left our luggage in car and took only backpack with necessaries"

"We came to the national park for a few days and booked an inexpensive but cozy room and it was the only budget hotel where you can stay with pets that we had, but upon arrival we were very surprised! Everything turned out to be much better than we expected! Great staff, cozy clean houses, amazing nature and a garden from which we were treated to flower lemonade, too delicious! We are very happy and will only come back here!"

"Nice, cozy hotel, good breakfast, and fruits and omelette, and greens, and small desserts, coffee, tea, and some hearty. Keep in mind that you still need to get to Cheow Lan Lake, either on your own (taxi/car/bike), or with an excursion, it is more profitable, of course, to rent a car and yourself, but it is better to cooperate, a company and a car and a boat, everything will be more profitable. Nearby is Khao Sok Park, there is a street with cafes, rafting on the dam, massage, currency exchange (the rate is not very good, but if necessary, there is a place to change money). "The owners are really nice and sweet helped me booking tours for good price the hostel also had so much friendly people. They have also a restaurant with good food and good prices. The toilet is not the best as the shower is just nearby the toilet but it's clean and there is hot water and the owner is very helpful and kind regarding any question or complain. Would definitely recommend it"

"This place is amazing! We booked the 4 day/3night grand jungle and lake package directly with the hotel and then booked an extra night through trip.com. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everything so well organised. Lots of activities to choose from e.g canoe trip, night safari, half day hike, cooking class, Thai massage, all picked up and dropped back to the hotel. The accommodation is surrounded by rainforest, you can hear and see monkeys at breakfast, monitor lizards climbing in the tree. Rooms very clean and comfortable and food very good. Book this place and go to the lake as part of your trip. You will not be disappointed! AMAZING!!"

"We had such a great time here!! The staff were super friendly, especially the restaurant team, they made sure we started and ended every day with a smile, which really made a difference. The lodge was surprisingly comfortable for being in the jungle. Everything was well thought out: clean, secure, and completely leak-proof, even during the heavy rain we had. The restaurant was another highlight. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Great portions, tasty dishes, and a relaxed vibe, perfect after a day of exploring. We also did one of the tours offered by the lodge, and it was really well organized. They even provided dry bags for guests who didn’t bring one, which was super helpful. Furthermore, the location was amazing. It is a great spot right by the river. Waking up to the sound of flowing water and birds was something special. All in all, a place where you feel welcome, well taken care of, and surrounded by nature. We’ll definitely be back!"
