Crystal-clear water, sun loungers at the ready, and an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. We spent most of our days here and never once wanted to be anywhere else. Breakfast deserves a special mention — it was an absolute highlight. Fresh, generous, and lovingly put together every morning. The authentic traditional Turkish tea served at the table was a true delight, and the simit — that gorgeous sesame-crusted bread — became my personal favourite way to start the day. What truly elevates Lugga above other hotels is the people. This is a family-run hotel, and you feel it in every interaction. The warmth here isn’t rehearsed — it’s genuine. The hand-made Turkish coffee offered at reception was an unexpectedly lovely touch, the kind of small gesture that stays with you long after you’ve checked out. Loved the hotel, modern, clean, friendly staff, speak good English and nice selection of food. Great drink options by the beach and free ice lolly’s all day! Love the extra of bringing a lunch option down to the beach to save going to the restaurant. They messed up our room booking on our check in night. Saying they have upgraded us to a family room which is pointless for a couple. We lost the sea view & lounge access that night. Next night we got our room back. Please don’t upgrade your guests unless you can offer them their original booked room still. This wasted time for us. The valet also reversed our hire car into the wall with damage. They didn’t notify or tell us. It was only pure luck that we noticed it and they took full responsibility. Overall this wasted another evening of sorting this out and saw it to our shock going out for dinner. Very dishonest from the hotel to not notify your guests! Management managed this issue well. However food and drinks service could be quicker, my expectations from a 5* hotel is higher and unfortunately this isn’t a 5* hotel but great stay for 6nights….minus the issues!

The check-in process was smooth and the reception staff were very professional and well-organized 👌. The cleanliness in the corridors was excellent ✨. We had originally booked a garden-view villa with a pool, but the staff kindly upgraded us to a larger and more beautiful sea-view villa 🌊, with a very generous discount 💰 — definitely a great gesture that deserves recognition. When we arrived at the villa, everything was beyond expectations: absolute peace and quiet 🕊️, comfort 😌, cleanliness ✨, and a stunning view 🌴. The overall atmosphere was luxurious and dreamy 🌟. Some constructive notes: • The food prices felt too high 🍽️, especially considering such bookings should ideally include more meals like other luxury resorts. • The resort was extremely quiet 😴 — while that’s relaxing, it would be great to add some fun activities or light entertainment 🎶 to make the experience more complete. Overall, it was a truly luxurious stay, with friendly staff and an unforgettable atmosphere. Highly recommended 🌟.

Reception is attentive and client oriented. Paid upgrade to Garden view (to get king bed instead of twin bed) was not worth it. Breakfast very good and restaurant Attiko top notch. Although tried to reserve Folie Beach sunbeds in advance, got as hotel guest only on a waiting list. Quiet embarrassing. Hotel’s own beach sunbeds are not so comfy and too close to Holiday Inn’s beach.

The room is quite spacious, well-designed and smell nice. The staffs at the hotel were very friendly and always asked if everything’s okay. However, I still felt like the hotel wasn’t fully ready for the customers. The breakfast option is only Turkish breakfast with eggs. If you plan to stay for 4 days or more, you’ll definitely get tired of it even though I liked the cheese plates with honeycombs so much. I wish the hotel add some more options for guests. Also, the hotel is quite far from everything if you take a taxi to the marina, it would be quite pricy unless you go with a big group of people and no place to eat, only at the hotel restaurant which is super pricey. But, it will be nice if you want to escape the crowd as it was really peaceful. The beach was clean and the water was crystal clear which is a plus. The worst part was just a slow service and they always forgot to put bottle of water every time they cleaned my room and I always had to ask for it ,so on our last night, we didn’t ask cause it was to tiring to just keep asking for water. Moreover, the water is only complimentary two bottles per day which was very weird for the 5 stars hotel.

The hotel is a bit tired. We stayed in an apartment, which was quite large and had everything we needed. We could request dishwasher and washing machine supplies at reception, where the lady working there was very nice—a special thank you! But the furniture, plumbing, and spa area are in serious need of renovation. The breakfasts were okay, but nothing special. The location was important to us; there's probably no better hotel nearby. The spa area has a warm pool, which is nice in November because all the other open ones are either very cold or closed. We drove, and there's underground parking. The hotel is okay, but for the money, we've had better in Turkey. Perhaps after the renovations, it will be better, but we're unlikely to return if we ever return to Bodrum.

Pros Location is great and close to everything. Food is actually decent for an all inclusive (not the best but you have options to pick what you like). Drinks are available all day, although not premium the local beer was nice and the piña coladas were nice but needed more alcohol. The spa is included and the pool was quiter there and also the hamam and sauna was free. Massage was offered as additional but the price was cheap. Cons The rooms are in need of refurbishment. We had ants in our room although we never had any food or spillages My partners bracelet was missing from the room, we were never drunk and certain it was left in the room. We reported it but never had any updates back from them. No iron is provided so bring your own. The hairdryer wasnt working although they replaced it within 30mins. The beach is average I've seen worst but not the best. Wake up early if you want a sunbed next to the beach as they get taken pretty fast (no drink service at the beach either). I would say this hotel is probably a 3-4 star and not a 5 star experience.

A rather pleasant hotel, more of a beach club. There's always something going on, always music, small two-story buildings, and a private pier-like beach. There's a great table tennis area. The food is decent—you won't go hungry, everything is tasty, but nothing fancy. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent internet; it was surprisingly convenient to work. On the downside: the rooms are a bit dirty, cleaned with a formal walk-through with a wet rag, which takes about two minutes (really). Also, the sound quality in the rooms is fantastic. I could only sleep with earplugs, even when the ”disco” was turned off (which even earplugs didn't help; you'd literally vibrate to the bass).

We arrived at the hotel in the morning at about eight, they didn't make us wait long and checked us in almost immediately, offered tea. However, an important note: when I booked it was indicated that it would be a standard room without a sea view, but in the end we checked into a club room and supposedly with a sea view. In response to my comment, they said that alas, it was the Bayram holiday and they couldn't offer a room in the main building because it supposedly had a sea view. It was an unpleasant incident. It turns out that in order to be sure that they will check you into a room in the main building, you need to take a standard room with a sea view. The breakfasts were delicious: different types of cheeses, sausages, soup, eggs, omelette, buns, fruits, honey in the comb was especially pleasing, vegetables, sweets, greens - a buffet. They bring drinks that you ask for. The hotel grounds are very beautiful and green. Very beautiful architecture. However, there are some problems with hot water in the rooms, mostly we had to wash in lukewarm water. In general, all the issues that were resolved quickly: bring water, fix the phone, change the towels, change the bucket in the bathroom, call a taxi. Another point, the METT hotel is located nearby, which played loud music until late, which was not very pleasant for us, since we like peace and quiet. In general, we have very pleasant memories of the hotel.
