The newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston-Andover is conveniently located just off I-93 along the Merrimack River, approximately 30 minutes north of Boston and near the New Hampshire border. The hotel offers easy access to the Merrimack Valley's corporate offices, universities, and historic New England towns, while the Atlantic coast and regional attractions are within an hour's drive. Both Boston Logan International Airport and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport are approximately 30 minutes away.
Guests are welcomed with the DoubleTree's signature warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in. Spacious guest rooms feature complimentary WiFi, LED TVs, mini-refrigerators, coffeemakers, and dedicated work areas. Suites offer additional space with separate living areas and sofa beds.
Onsite amenities include a full-service restaurant and lounge, seasonal outdoor patio seating, room service, and a 24-hour market. The hotel also features a heated indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, and business center.
With more than 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including a Grand Ballroom and outdoor courtyard, the hotel is well suited for meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
"The corridor and the room have a strong smell of cleaning and disinfection (carpet cleaning?), which is unbearable; the two rooms I booked were assigned to the two ends of the corridor, which are more than 100 meters apart; the door to the balcony in the room only has an anti-theft chain, and it can be opened a crack by turning the door handle from the outside, which lacks a sense of security. The key to the hidden lock on the door is not allowed to be used, saying that the hotel does not allow it to be given to guests, which is inexplicable; the lighting in the room is relatively dim and uncomfortable. Because it is in the suburbs, the surrounding natural environment is okay, but it takes more than an hour to get into the city to catch up with the commute."
