The hotel generally meets five-star standards, but it's positioned as a more accessible five-star option. The decor is quite traditional, not a modern, brand-new design. The rooms are well-maintained, and if you're lucky enough to get a high-floor room, the view is fantastic. You get a direct view of the harbor and the sea, which is beautiful both day and night. The rooftop pool and gym are definitely worth checking out; the views are superb and were a pleasant surprise during my stay. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, a few minutes on foot, but it's generally acceptable. Overall, it offers good value for money, making it suitable for travelers who want a five-star experience but are also budget-conscious.
The hotel is located in Penrith ๐จ, near a large shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants, which can meet daily needs. There are also entertainment facilities nearby, including water golf and other recreational options.
Accommodation includes free parking ๐, making it suitable for families.

This stay was excellent, very satisfying! The room size was just right, enough space to open two large suitcases, and the bathroom was quite spacious and clean. Check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient. Transportation was decent; it's a ten-minute walk to Mascot, or a bus ride of under 10 minutes to Sydney Airport T2 and T3. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious! Great value for money.
The room was great, a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. It felt more like an apartment hotel, but with better management than a typical apartment. Housekeeping cleaned daily, the bed was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The best part was the fantastic location โ right downstairs from the Royal Botanic Garden, and on the other side, Sydney Harbour. It was a 5-minute walk to the Opera House and 10 minutes to the shopping district. Highly recommended!
Opted to stay at Pullman Olympic Park during my recent Sydney visit as all the hotels in Sydney CBD were fully booked.
1. The hotel is not 5 star as claimed. At best, it is only a 4 star hotel. The room upkeep is below average Shower gel was not replenished regularly. Towels were missing
after the room cleaning.
2. Though it is only some 10 km. from Sydney CBD, you have to take 2 trains and a travelling time of 1 hour to get to CBD.
3. There is hardly any activity going on at the Sydney Olympic Park except when there is some sporting activity. There is no significant shopping area except for a DFO some 3 km. away. A few eateries of which only one remains open after 9pm -till 10pm.
So, the only reason for one to stay at Olympic Park is if you are involved in some activity taking place there.
