Best Taichung Hotels

"The hotel is very close to Taichung Train Station- which is then close to major highlights in Taichung. For its price, its really worth it. Plus, a nice breakfast is available. I will definetly book this hotel if I’m back in Taichung."

"This hotel located near the old train station. If you took the highspeed rail to Taichung you have to transfer to a bus or a railway train to get to the hotel. There are no MRT station near the hotel. Either you take a taxi or bus. The room has a maximum of two persons, I stayed with a roommate since the room I booked is a dormitory. The room is super clean and big enough for one person, with one shower room shared by two roommate. The are laundry and dryer available. There is a rooftop where you can enjoy the star at night. I will definitely stay here again if I ever return to Taichung."

"This hotel is centrally located, close to Tainan Station, with convenient access to dining, shopping, and transportation. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, including luggage storage, laundry, and taxi booking. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel offers reasonable prices. I particularly enjoyed the view from the window; it was visually pleasing, with good ventilation and plenty of sunlight."

"The room is large and convenient, there are many facilities for children to play, the location is quite convenient in the city center, there are parking spaces for motorcycles and cars, and the breakfast variety is OK"

"The hotel is spacious and has good pillows. I appreciated the two small stools in the room, which allowed us to have meals comfortably. There’s also free breakfast - while the selection isn’t big, the congee was delicious. There’s also free popsicles at certain times of the day. The location was also great, close to miyahara and the fourth credit union. There’s also a good ramen place across the hotel. The toilets were a little worn out and service standards were average. We were feeling sick from our travels and requested for the hotel to inform us if the rooms become available earlier than the check-in time, but were quickly informed that “that’s not possible, only check-in at check-in time’s available”. Overall, still a good find for a no-hassle short stay."

"overall is good but if drive car better think twice as car park underground need to use car lift. Just nice during our stay the lift out of service during our check out time. A little bit speechless as heard that spoilt since 9am but we wait until 12:30pm."

"We had an excellent stay! The family room (triple) was spacious and comfortable, perfect for traveling with kids. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread was generous with a great variety of options. The body lotion smells so good , we bought one back (cost 1000 TWD) for own use, available at front desk . Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for families!"

"Good location in Taichung and easy to travel from there. However, the accommodation is really dirty and smells like you are going to be ******* by ghosts. To be honest, it was a scary moment living in this property. Just enough staying their for 2 nights. The facilities is too old and it is not about the vintage culture you wanted to preserve but this hotel doesn’t have capabilities for doing renovation. Even the AC was dusty and just like breathing dust and smoke. Overall, it is definitely not recommended for renting there."

"This hotel has 5 stars on Trip.com indicating it is a 5-star hotel but it is at best a 3-star hotel as it has no swimming pool or other recreational facilities. Its deco is outdated. It doesn't even have a proper lobby for cars to drop off passengers. The facilities and rooms are very dated. It doesn't even provide hand soap! The room is quite clean but there is lack of electrical sockets. The positive thing about this hotel is the location is quite central and rooms are quite spacious."
