"We enjoyed our stay. Room was kept clean and a card was placed inside the room so air-con could be kept on even if we left the room - crucial given the heatwave sweeping across Northeast Asia. Good location to take buses around Taichung/other cities and to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport as well. One small complaint would be that the soundproofing of the rooms is not as good, and we sometimes heard the sound of people above us, especially if they were moving something or lying down hard on their beds. But otherwise no complaints and we enjoyed our stay."

"🅿️ Parking: Since I was driving, I parked on the 7th floor and above of the Sunday Tiandi Outlet. You can park first and then check-in. The front desk will provide a paper slip, which makes it very convenient to enter and exit the parking lot during your stay. Pros: ❶ Great location, very close to the hotel ❷ It's free. Cons: ❶ The parking lot is quite small, so you have to keep circling up ❷ Since it's a department store parking lot, it can get very crowded sometimes, and you have to wait for the elevators (on the day I visited, two out of three elevators were out of order) ❸ You need to register when you exit, and sometimes staff will patrol, so you have to wait. Hotel Location: Pros: When you open the map, it's close to all the popular attractions. Even if some places are further away, public transportation is very convenient. Cons: At night, in the direction of the convenience store, there are clubs or other establishments...? A group of people gather there. I suggest going with a companion if you need to buy things at the convenience store (this point varies from person to person). Hotel: Pros: ❶ The front desk staff are very helpful ❷ When checking in, you can get combs, razors, and toothbrushes (🆓) at the front desk ❸ There's no bottled water, but there's a water dispenser outside the elevators where you can fill your room's mug (you can also get free drinks at the front desk, the cocoa is delicious) ❹ The environment is very clean and pleasant ❺ You can arrange for housekeeping to clean the room. Cons: ❶ There were mosquitoes, so bring insect repellent. Room: Deluxe Studio Suite (the one in the far corner to the right of the elevator on the 7th floor) Pros: ❶ The environment is clean, and the facilities seem quite new. Cons: ❶ The table and chairs are hard and small ❷ The soundproofing is poor; you can hear conversations loudly from the hallway ❸ The bathroom takes up one-third of the room and isn't completely dry/wet separated. Although the bathroom space is large, the sink is tiny and cute. Suggestion: This room type is suitable for one person; it feels a bit cramped for two."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was definitely convenient, making it easy to get around. However, the room could have been cleaner and the overall cleanliness was below my expectations. If you’re staying here, I would suggest not expecting too much in terms of room condition and cleanliness. That said, the friendly staff and convenient location are the main positives."

"location is really good. it is convenient since there are bus stops nearby to go around the city there is also a nice night market nearby and nice food options/ restaurants only downside is that the rooms are near and little to no sound proofing so the showers and can hear people showering / blowdrying hair at night. I still had a good sleep with my ear plugs on. The living / lounge area is also small and with people working who are staying there longer hoarding the only dining table for their work stuff so if this is not an issue for you and for short stays. I reco this hostel!"

"This time I brought my wife to Taichung for her birthday, and we stayed at the Norway Forest Cultural Center for the first night. We arrived early to drop off our luggage and immediately experienced the friendly and polite service, which made me feel happy and warm. Although there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room when we checked in that evening, the front desk manager came up and helped us switch to a larger and more comfortable room. Their service attitude was also super nice. It's no wonder this hotel has reviews above 9 – it's absolutely deserved. If I have the chance to come again, it will definitely be my first choice! 🥰"

"Staff are polite and ready to assist. Easy luggage storage and check in. Room facilities are basic, but the bed is comfortable and plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower. However the showerhead was difficult to position and the tub is small so water sprayed everywhere on the floor. Free water bottles are provided. There could be more hooks installed for hanging clothes or personal toiletries. The bedsheets/pillowcases were discolored but not sure if this is related to hygiene or just the bedsheet style/color. They felt clean and didn’t find any weird objects except for some hairs on the pillowcases (the staff helped us replace them)."

"The hotel is really commendable. The staff are nice and can speak English well, the location is really nice! It is within prime location. Just a walking distance to the Taichung Station, Taroko Mall, Miyahara and other tourist spot within the city vicinity. Bus stops is also near to the hotel. I would stay here again."

"During the May Day holiday, hotels in Taichung were quite expensive. The overall environment was very quiet, and guests in the common areas were considerate and didn't disturb each other. However, for some reason, there was a strange smell as soon as I entered the room, which felt like a ventilation issue. It got a bit better after turning on the air conditioning for about half an hour, but the room still felt a little damp. It's very close to Miyahara Eye Clinic, and the surrounding area is nice for a quick stroll."

"Overall, it's a great hotel. The facilities, staff, cleanliness, and convenience are all excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I visit Taichung. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. However, there were a couple of things I wasn't happy about: (1) The hotel has self-service laundry, but I only found out when I got to the laundry room that it's only open from 9 AM to 10 PM daily (who wants to spend their prime travel time doing laundry in the hotel?). And at 9 AM, you have to call someone to open the door, and there's no air conditioning in the waiting area... Wouldn't it be more normal to have the laundry room on a non-guest room floor? (2) If there are no personal items on the towels placed on the chairs, it's generally fine to remove them. But I had placed clothes on the towel, and the towel was still taken, which I found really puzzling."

"The environment is great, with many delicious eateries nearby. The room is also quiet and spacious. However, public transportation isn't very convenient, so getting around mainly relies on walking and buses. The front desk service was excellent too! 👍🏼"
