"I quite like this hotel! The front desk also gave us a 1000yen/per coupon, and there was also a list of places where it could be used. We were worried that there was no place to eat in the remote area, so we just picked a restaurant that looked pretty good. It took a few minutes to drive there... You still need to take off your shoes for the tatami, and then an English-speaking waiter came out and gestured to say sorry, it was full... But there was obviously no one in the store, hahaha! I think it might be a reservation system. After a bow and sending us out, we could only rely on Lawson for dinner. I joked with the front desk, and then went to the restaurant bar to eat the dinner I bought at the convenience store. On the way, a staff member came and found several restaurants, gestured that he could help make a reservation by phone and we could go right away. But we were already full... haha! But the service attitude is really good... (The restaurant that I didn’t eat is the one in the picture, planting grass... leave it for next time)"
"The hotel is new and very good, just next to the public onsen, and they provide the private onsen for reservation which I think is a little bit pricy, 5500yen for 90 mins. My recommendation is use the public onsen outside that would be more traditional"

"The room is very clean, but the facilities are a bit old. The tatami is quite good, and the quilt is of average quality and not fluffy enough. Advantages: The location is very close to several major hot springs (except Konoyu which is a little further), and the service is in place, especially the old lady who serves the meals is very attentive and thoughtful. The dinner is sumptuous and the breakfast is simple but completely filling. Disadvantages: There is no elevator on three floors. It is a challenge to carry luggage upstairs, especially when you change the hotel slippers at the door and they don't fit your feet."

"It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the hot spring is right next door so I had no complaints about the location. I also liked that they offered a free drink."
"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was an authentic stay. They provided great customer service, clothing was fun to wear and private onsen was a plus. I will return again and recommend to friends."
"There are more than ten stairs at the entrance of the lobby, which is not convenient for wheelchair people! There is a bath to soak! There is an elevator! The room is big! Facilities are complete! 8 minutes walk from JR station! It is convenient to find with goggle!"
"After leaving the city saki station, turn right and go straight and then turn right to the entrance of the hotel. The hotel has re-installed the overall design. It is beautiful. In the morning, there is a train passing by, but it will not be too noisy. The sound insulation equipment is also good. You can also enjoy the scene of the train passing by the river.
There are many wooden shoes at the door for passengers to go out to use, there are also bathrobes available, you can also pay 880 yen to buy beautiful raincoats to wear, the owner of the hotel is run by two couples, the personality is very humorous and interesting English can also communicate.
Walking into the corridor on the 2nd floor and the room is all re-decorated, but there is no bathing facilities that need to go outside to soak in the bath.
The dinner at the hot spring hotel is full of 10 dishes. The morning is also late. The ingredients are very rich. It is a good choice for travel accommodation. The overall feeling is very comfortable and relaxing.
The quilt for sleeping will also help you spread it, and it is very quiet at night. You can call until dawn. "

Amazing
세세원I went on a trip to a hot spring village for the first time after watching YouTube. It was difficult to get there because it was far away, but when I arrived, I was able to relieve all the stress I had accumulated.
I was worried because it's been a while since I remodeled, but I'm very satisfied for the high price.
Be sure to eat dinner and breakfast!!!!
They prepared a meal for just the two of us to eat in privacy in another room right next door to avoid the room smelling haha.
The owner is also very friendly and fun.
I really recommend this place..!!
GGuest UserOur favourite booking throughout our entire Japan trip! This inn is a family business so you can imagine how hospitable the entire family was to us this 2D1N. Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. <3
LLivyC75The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling.
DdrlimMy room are newly renovated; it has a toilet but without a shower in the room, but need to share the public shower or spa area. The location is a bit off from the main spa road with eateries.
SsteamyboatzLove this quaint little ryokan at Kinosaki! The service is friendly although not much English is spoken there. Expect the staff to introduce you the amenities of the ryokan such as the free first-come -first-serve private onsen (there are a total of 4, but recommend the one named Hana because it's the newest and the nicest). The room itself is tiny but comfortable. There is no shower in the room, so would have to take the shower at the onsen or at the ryokan's own onsen. The room package came with kaiseki (we had the snow crab one) and it was delicious with pretty looking food. The blanket was thick and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. There was not much view from our room.
YYuliaDJrIt's a lovely hotel in traditional Japanese style. It has a pretty inside garden and an onsen (no private onsens for booking, only common ones for all hotel guests that are divided for males and females). Hotel provides you with a yukata and a haori for your stay (you don't rent it, they are included in price), which is very convenient. When I asked the receptionist if I can buy them, 'cause I loved them so much, she said I can take them for free if I want. I double checked to avoid any miscommunication, but she insisted that I don't have to pay extra for those. Everything in the fridge, including alcohol, is free. Hotel is a bit far from the main street, but has a transfer, so I'd say it's fine. We ordered a dinner and breakfast, and both were absolutely wonderful, had several courses.
MmookennPleasant stay with my husband, mum and auntie. It is a short walk to the main street and it gets pretty dark at night. Alternatively, just take the shuttle bus which departs every 30min in the evening, last bus out is 930pm.
The hotel provides free onsen pass to the outside onsens. But u could also enjoy the onsen within the hotel, it's already really pretty.
Breakfast spread is amazing I was so overwhelmed by by choices
PPiwatUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.
KK LouThere is no breakfast nor dinner provided by this onsen hotel, and restaurants close a bit early. If you’re looking for an onsen meal, you maybe disappointed if you staying here. Beware if you’re a foodie.
The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long.
There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages.
Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!
