1.4 miles from Kinumaki Shrine in Toyooka, Asagiriso offers accommodations with access to a hot spring bath, spa facilities, and public bath. This 3-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk, an elevator, and free Wifi. The ryokan also offers facilities for disabled guests. The ryokan will provide guests with air-conditioned units with a tatami, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, and a shared bathroom with a bidet. The rooms are equipped with heating facilities. Guests at the ryokan can enjoy an Asian breakfast. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs for guests to relax in. Seto Shrine is 2.3 miles from Asagiriso, while North Disaster Earthquake Monument is 2.6 miles from the property. Tajima Airport is 11 miles away.

"The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything about the check-in experience was smooth and professional. Special thanks to Hiro, who assisted us during check-in. He was extremely professional, spoke excellent English, and gave us a very clear and thorough explanation about the hotel facilities and our room. His service made us feel very welcome and comfortable right away. The room was beautiful, clean, and well prepared, and all the facilities were exactly as described. Honestly, everything about this hotel - from the service to the atmosphere - was close to perfect. This was one of the best hotel check-in experiences we've had. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others."

There is also room service, you can eat in the building even in bad weather, and the TV that supports each VOD is convenient. Breakfast was cheap but the number of items was satisfactory. Free drink service is also available from coffee to flavor water, and alcohol and various beverages are available at the vending machine at the kiosk booth on the first floor. It was good to sell snacks and instant noodles."

An inn in a good location where you can have a go at making pottery, featuring plans such as "free private baths" and "weekday rates on a Saturday"

" During my trip to Kinosaki Onsen, I chose to stay at the Kiraku Hotel. The overall experience was very good and I gave it a 4-star rating. The following is my experience of staying here for your reference. Rooms and Facilities The hotel has an elegant environment and is full of the atmosphere of a Japanese hot spring hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hot spring facilities are very comfortable, allowing people to completely relax. However, when I checked in, I found a small stain on the bed sheet, which slightly affected my first impression. Fortunately, after contacting the service staff, they quickly changed the bed sheet and handled it professionally, which made me feel at ease. Dining Experience Dinner and breakfast were the highlights of this stay! The kaiseki cuisine for dinner was exquisite and delicious. Each dish showed the freshness and care of local ingredients, especially the seafood dishes, which were memorable. The breakfast was also rich, offering a variety of Japanese and Western options, with high quality, which made people feel good early in the morning. Overall, the dining experience was excellent and was definitely a big plus for the hotel. Service Quality In terms of service, the staff was friendly, but the overall service could only be said to be average. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, but when I occasionally needed to actively seek assistance, the service staff responded a little slowly, and felt a little lacking in initiative. For this price, I originally expected more detailed service, but overall it was still acceptable. Summary Kinosaki Onsen Kiraku Hotel is a recommended hotel, especially for travelers who like hot springs and food. Although the service has room for improvement, the high-quality dining and comfortable environment made this stay still satisfactory. If the service details can be improved in the future, I believe it will be more perfect! #城崎温泉 #喜乐旅店 #温泉旅店 #日本旅行"

"Livemax hotels in Japan are budget-friendly accommodations in a convenient location near the station. The rooms are a bit small, typical of business hotels, but clean, with microwaves and all the basic amenities. They're ideal for short stays and are a great value. The rooms are also very large and close to the onsen."

"A good ryokan. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were polite. Even though the hotel is very old (you can feel it in places), it's very clean and cozy. The koi on the terrace are a bit of a mixed bag: The koi are beautiful, but they look scared and have very little space. I didn't get any aesthetic pleasure from them – I was more worried. Pros: - Amazing service - Very atmospheric room - Fantastic kaiseki dinner - Good breakfast - A pass is provided for all local onsens (you'll need to pay a symbolic 400 yen per visit to the onsens, but there are no restrictions on how many onsens you can visit, and you can even visit them for a couple of hours after check-out). Cons: - No smoking in the room or on the room's terrace (this is probably because their Gonzaemon hotel, where you *could* smoke, burned down nearby). - The air conditioner only heats the main room; the other rooms (hallway, bathroom, toilet) are very cold. - The hot tub is very small (it's photographed in a way that makes it look bigger). - The convenience store (combini) is very far away. - There are shared hot springs and a private bath in the adjacent building (you need to book in advance, and the last entry is at 11 PM). - The yukatas are rather simple compared to other local ryokans."

"A companion left first, and before the check-out time came, and before the key was handed over to the counter, someone knocked on the door. I was taking a bath in the room at the time. I was a little embarrassed, and I was afraid that the other person would just open the door and come in, so I opened the door while wearing a bath towel. The service staff was frightened and left quickly. After check-out, due to poor communication, we did not get on the shuttle bus. We had to ask the hotel to call a taxi and give us a phone number so that we could contact us by ourselves. Afterwards, they showed that our phone could not be used, so we changed the call. The hotel assisted. The hotel helped solve the incident later, but I was a little overwhelmed at the moment. There are free Yakult, hot spring baths (two of which can be reserved) and late-night snacks (udon noodles); the breakfast is Japanese-style and quite rich. It's a bit far from Kinosaki Onsen."

"Date of Stay: January 24-25 Number of Guests/Purpose: 2 people, Sightseeing Overall Rating: B Pros: * The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. * Wi-Fi was available. * Check-in was smooth. * Rental service for boots and umbrellas was provided. * Came with tickets for touring Kinosaki Onsen, and the room had a convenient onsen set for taking out. * There are private baths within the building. Cons: * The room felt a bit old. * At night, hotel staff were loudly arguing outside the annex, which left a bad impression. Location/Surroundings: * About a 10-minute walk from the station. It felt a bit of a walk, but being in the center of the onsen town made access to all hot springs excellent. Host's Service: * Friendly and good service. Summary: Considering the price and location, it was good. However, it's not somewhere I'd definitely want to stay again, but rather I'd be interested in trying other ryokans next time."

We will help make your stay in Kinosaki Onsen a memorable and special one through a variety of guest rooms, heartfelt hospitality, and the rich charm of the surrounding area.

"It takes some walk to the busy main road. But the shuttle service is good. The hotel and everything is new, the in house hot spring is also very nice but only a small soda machine at the hot spring area. Would be nice if there’s more selection of snacks/drinks post hot spring. Very nice dinner menu, detailed design and impressive presentation."

GGuest UserNice, modern and new hotel in Kinosaki onsen with great hospitality from the hotel owner and his staff. I was welcomed by the owner at the door when I arrived, and they even prepared a beautiful greeting card on my arrival. Welcome drink was provided and the owner recommended good restaurants and provided the USP of each onsen in Kinosaki. The room is spacious, clean and new! I especially like the Japanese style of the hotel. Yutaka and 1-day onsen pass were provided for my stay. As the next day I had to move to another hotel, the owner very kindly helped me to transport my luggage to another hotel near the JR station. Overall, excellent stay, excellent people and excellent breakfast! :) Would love to visit Kinosaki onsen again and stay with Utsuroi Tsuchiya.

GGuest UserNot far from Kinosaki Station, reachable within 10 minutes, only 100m on the left side street of the city; there are various yukatas to choose from when shopping (close up + feel old and faded, the same style as some hotels (vest jacket contrasts with the gap). The shop is always old inside, and it is surprising that there is a lack of USB plugs in this era. The dinner for two nights is ordinary, with a few crab legs (not fresh enough), and the sashimi fish meat is actually ribbed, but the sashimi restaurant at the corner of the street is flat and delicious! The room is full of meat smell when eating ta tami in the treasure room, and the smell of meat is also everywhere when sleeping. I also found that Japan, especially here, also employs many foreign workers. My sister said that she has been here for 10 months from Vietnam, and she is full of smiles. There is still room for improvement.

Ddari_snWe stayed at Onishiya Suishoen in September 2025. It was our first experience, and we were absolutely delighted! The rooms and the ryokan itself have incredibly beautiful traditional interiors, impeccably clean, and a light, pleasant scent of incense. There's a cozy sitting area overlooking the garden, perfect for relaxing. The food is a whole other story! We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included. The portions seemed small, but the variety of dishes meant we were completely full on both days. Kaiseki may be a bit unusual for some, but it's a unique experience. Everything is fresh, filling, and incredibly delicious. Special thanks to the staff! We were a little worried about the language barrier, but our concerns were unfounded. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The girl who greeted us upon arrival, although she didn't speak English very well, was incredibly sweet and gave us a clear, brief tour (using both gestures and a translator 😆). A nice touch was the Russian-language instructions. My friend and I visited the onsen at the ryokan early in the morning, so it was practically private 👍 I definitely recommend this ryokan. The price-quality ratio is excellent, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is magical. I'd be thrilled to return on my next trip!

GGuest UserConvenient location, 1 minute away from the train station, with a small convenience store downstairs. The service is attentive and polite. Basically all of them speak Japanese. There are English-speaking waiters, so communication is not a problem. The several private baths are well-equipped and clean. There is free water and ice bars in the rest area. We provide beautiful yukatas for wearing outside. One night, two meals, dinner and breakfast are above standard.

AAnonymous User对不是日本人完全不友善的酒店 Not foreigner ( Western & Asian) friendly. We travelled around 70 Roykan in the last 3 years and this is the wrost service we ever had. Japanese get to seat and offered juices when they checked in while we have to stand at the front desk and no juice offered. We asked for the yukata rental (free rental) and the young staff just ignore us twice. We asked for sizes a few times then he just said it’s all here. Then when we picking the only two small sizes he grabbed and give it to the Japanese girl and ignore us or never ask us before he took it as he knows we are looking into those. Very rude. Most of ryokan will bring you to the room or assist to bring luggage or already put in the room for you. This one you do everything yourself after check in. When we get into the hotel room it’s hot as no aircon is on. Then air con is broken so we called reception. With their broken English they insisted I don’t know how to turn on the aircon which I told them the air con is broken, after 15mins on the phone showing me how to on I keep telling them to send the staff up as we are so hot in the room as it’s summer and no window open and no fan was on after moving luggage. They came up and fix the air con for 45mins then told us it’s broken and need to change room. The whole hour we were sweating but no offer of water / drinks or anything and we just stand in the room while they fixing. When they decided the room need to be changed, they asked us to wait downstairs but leave the luggage in the room so we thought they will move luggage to the new room but they did not. Staff see us so hot at lobby didn’t tell us there is free drinking machine that we can get ice juices , they just watch us hot and sweat and not saying a word. When the new room is finished, they gave us the new room key and asked us to move the luggage ourself and return the old key. No help at all and wasted 1.5 hours of our onsen time. No apologies as well. I feel like being treated like a trash. Not enjoyable at all. I paid extra for the sea view room which when they change my room they offered a slightly bigger room but my sea view was mostly blocked (in the pic )which I am not so happy. There is amenities corner at the lobby, at night after the onsen we come back and want to take the lotion as early on it was gone and they didn’t replenish, the female staff have a bad attitude and flip her eyes ask us which room we stayed, we showed her the key and she said the cream is already in the room which her broken English. There is one set in the room but those are small one time pack which we finish after we had the onsen so we want to take another one. She was rude and insist we can’t take. Her attitude was so bad seems like we are stealing. There is an amenities cornor, if you not allowing guest to take please do not have this setup. Food is okay with the buffet. Wagyu beef is nice but they is a normal standard for Japanese onsen buffet nothing too special. Overall, with the price paying compare to other roykan in Japan, this hotel have very bad service to non Japanese. There is also nothing special for this onsen. Probably best to try somewhere else.

We loved our stay there so much we would love to come back here again when we visit Japan again! Also loved the town itsself and all the Onsen. GGuest UserOverall, a wonderful place. We highly recommend it. It was a wonderful walk from the station to the hotel, and we were greeted with the utmost courtesy, explained everything, and shown around. We were shown to our room and given instructions. We booked a traditional room with futons, and the view from the window was simply stunning. The onsen includes two hot springs, a comfortable changing area with massage chairs, a sauna, and a cold plunge pool. They give free passes to seven public baths in the village. There's a shuttle that takes you to various walking spots. The prices are reasonable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We were very satisfied and would love to come back!

PPiwatUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.

田螺姑娘在路上This riverside hotel offers ample parking. The rooms are very spacious, and the lobby provides complimentary coffee and alcoholic beverages. There are both indoor and outdoor hot springs, with a full range of bathing amenities. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety of options, and the dinner, especially the seafood, was of a slightly higher quality, though the breakfast felt a bit perfunctory. Guests can enjoy free access to the Kinosaki public bathhouse, and the hotel provides complimentary baskets, yukata robes, wooden clogs, and umbrellas. The service was warm and attentive; I was very satisfied.

GGuest UserI stayed here for one night with my husband and our 9-year-old daughter, and we loved our visit. The hotel was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early. Our room was very clean, the staff were attentive, and we could tell they wanted us to have a nice stay. The location was perfect - set back on a quiet street but right in the middle of all the onsens and shopping. We opted for the crab dinner, and it was an absolute feast. We ate for hours and still couldn't finish everything. They asked if we wanted to keep it for breakfast (which, of course, we did), so they served it in the morning along with the breakfast they planned. It was wonderful. They have a small onsen in the building, which was nice because the three of us could enjoy one bath together before going to the gender-separated onsens in town. I highly recommend staying here for a lovely and authentic Japanese experience.
