"The most recommended place in Tromso! The kitchen utensils are extremely complete! I stayed there for many days and it was very comfortable, as if I was at home. There are large supermarkets downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping. It's walking distance everywhere, five minutes' walk to the boat ride and ten minutes to the departure point for various activities. There are shops wherever you go downstairs. Less than five minutes away from the bus station ~ very convenient to the airport"

"The room has a living room that is quite big, the living room has a sofa bed, the dining room kitchen is connected, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, which is quite good.
There is a supermarket seven or eight minutes walk away. It is very convenient to buy things and cook them by yourself.
The only downside is that if the living room wants to sleep, the curtain is not wide enough to block the lights outside, and it is a bit bright at night."

"The front desk service was very good. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no room available. The hotel staff told me that I could check in in 2 hours. I could go around first and then check in. I could also rest in the restaurant. They were gentle. This hotel is close to the meeting point of Aurora tour and dog sledding tour, which is very convenient."

"The hotel just a few minutes walk to the city center. But very closed to Polaria bus station that I could walk easily with my suitcase. The staff was very helpful even there was a mistake about my check-in information but I did not have to wait too long for that. The room was clean and warm enough."

"Great location, not far from the center of the town and not far from the best restaurants! nice repeptionist! there is only one bathroom and one shower on each floor, which can be too little at times. Worked out for us tho!
We were able to see the northern lights from our window!"

NNev VerGood location near the airport by local bus within 5 min. View of the mountain is very nice. The staffs are helpful. The room is clean and everything is good except there is no amenities, besides body wash, shampoo and conditioner which is pretty enough.

TTravelifeJoI would rate this budget hotel 2/5. The location is its main advantage, conveniently situated close to key attractions and transportation. However, the overall experience was disappointing.
The service was poor, I was charged twice for my stay, and the refund process takes time. Luckily trip.com helped me to liase, and I received reply from hotel very soon. I can see hair in sink and stain on pillow case when i juat entered the room.
For a budget hotel, the price was extremely high and did not match the quality of service or facilities provided. The rooms were basic and lacked amenities, making it feel overpriced and not worth the cost.
While the location is excellent, the subpar service and lack of value for money make it hard to recommend this hotel. There are likely better options in the same area at a more reasonable price.

GGuest UserAn unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room.
Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling...
With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

2. The hotel front desk service is friendly and enthusiastic. I had some issues during my stay but the hotel staff were always happy to help me out. They provided useful information and advice and made me feel well looked after.
3. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant is great! Enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks every morning. They offer a wide variety of options, both hot and cold, to suit all tastes. Breakfast helps me start my day with energy.
4. The hotel room was comfortable and clean, making me feel at home. The bed was very comfortable and the room layout and facilities were very satisfactory. I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the hotel.

ZZar ChiSuch an awesome place to stay in tromso . Relax and peaceful , quiet place . You can even enjoy northern light on your own place . And reception was super helpful , all the staff are very friendly and helpful . Definitely will be back in summer .

SSheereenA hotel that is located conveniently to many pick up points for tours. Grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants are also located nearby. Simple amenities such as shampoo/body soap, towels, hairdryer are available. Love it that there is breakfast and dinner that comes together with your stay. Nothing too fancy but good enough to fill your bellies considering the restaurants are quite pricey. You will need to get hot water on your own at the dispenser as there are no kettle in the room. Reception was always friendly in answering any questions, and even helped with my cab booking to the airport. Worth it for the price, would stay here again.

Thoughts on the stay
The floors were generally clean, as you had to change from shoes to slippers at the entrance.
The cats in the hotel were also cute.
The hotel itself was nice and I would like to stay again next time.
One thing that was puzzling was that I never met the receptionist and didn't know where the reception was, so I was confused about that.

MMARY ANN MARGARETTECheap price place to stay. They have shared facilities - 2 showers, 2 toilets and a common kitchen upstairs, 1 washer/dryer downstairs.
Going there better be ready if you take bus 24 (shortest way) as you need to go up the slope it’s kinda challenging if you have luggages but if you take bus 20 a bit longer walking as you need to walk back but the good news is we spotted aurora borealis on our way back and going to the house is downslope so it’s easier to go down than up lol. The person in charge is friendly. The room is spacious with 3 beds and a table with nice window overlooking outside. We were assigned with room at the ground floor so it’s easier to push our luggage and no need to go up the staircase. Improvement, hoping that the air-conditioned heater knob really works? Coz it’s kind of cold in the middle of the night. Overall, we did like our stay, it’s not far from the center and we like the quietness of the neighbourhood plus all white snow covering the whole place.
