Xining Chengxi District Hotels

Both the hotel's facilities and service are excellent. The lobby is on the 19th floor; upon check-in, they even added me on WeChat to provide detailed information about anything I needed to know. Parking is on levels B2 and B3, and it's quite spacious. It's best to park near Building 5 underground, otherwise, it's a long walk as there are many buildings. The room is large and features high-end amenities – just look at the photos. They welcome guests with their homemade fresh yogurt, fruits, and snacks. Night supper is served from 9 PM to 11 PM, and you can either go to the restaurant or have it delivered to your room. Standing by the window, you can enjoy the city's night view; below is a sprawling commercial center with Wanda and Daocang, surrounded by numerous high-rises, though there's some traffic. You can register for free parking at the front desk. Overall, it was a very good experience.

For the past two years, I've visited Xining almost annually for work, and Qinghai Hotel has always been my one and only choice for accommodation. What makes it stand out are the incredibly welcoming staff, the plentiful and delicious breakfast, the warm and comfortable rooms, and, most importantly, the truly comfortable beds and bedding. This time, taking advantage of a holiday, my friends and I set off from Lanzhou for a spontaneous Gansu-Qinghai Grand Loop road trip. We were on the road early mornings and late nights every day, so by the time we reached Qinghai Hotel for the night, I slept soundly from 11 PM until 8 AM. It was exactly what I needed to truly recover and shake off the fatigue.

It was midnight when we arrived in Xining. As the starting point of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, we had a good rest. The new hotel has a little smell, but it is fine once the fresh air system is turned on. The breakfast is not suitable for southerners, it is simple and not suitable for this star rating.

We started our final China trip form Ürümqi followed by Turpin and Dunhuang. While our hotels there were reasonable, we felt really comfortable when we stayed at at a Club floor room at Sofitel Xining. Their service was one of the best we have experienced during our seven China trips so far. We enjoyed the comfort and the staff’s dedicated service. Thank you.

We stayed in a 120-square-meter luxurious two-bedroom suite. The room was huge, and the master bathroom was incredibly spacious and lavish. The guest bathroom was also quite roomy, with every bathroom featuring both a shower and a deluxe bathtub. The living room, dining area, and open-plan kitchen were all bright and airy. Overall, it offered great value for money. Breakfast was at the Sofitel buffet restaurant, which had a rich and varied selection, including several fresh juices. The restaurant manager proactively asked if the food was to our liking and if we had any other requests. Upon learning we enjoyed fresh orange juice, they specially arranged for two glasses, which was a lovely touch to our breakfast. Butler Ms. T's service was also incredibly thoughtful, reminding guests with altitude sickness to take medication early and even providing two bottles of medical oxygen. She also arranged for a late check-out. Thumbs up to the hotel staff for their excellent service! 👍

The hotel is centrally located, facing the central square. Room windows offer stunning views of Xining's city center. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a large Sharp TV. The bathroom is spacious, with separate wet and dry areas and a TOTO automatic flush toilet. The lobby counter is stocked with bottles of mineral water and a variety of fruit for guests to enjoy, a truly impressive touch. The breakfast is plentiful and high-quality. The staff are especially welcoming, proactively inquiring about service needs and offering recommendations, a truly valuable touch. The front desk staff are equally proactive and service-minded. The front square is spacious, with free parking, and the security guards are friendly and attentive. A gas station is just around the corner in the alley next to the hotel, making refueling very convenient.

The location is super powerful, downstairs is the snack street and the bus station, to Mojia Street, Ta'er Temple these attractions are super convenient, after shopping at night, you can walk back to the hotel, and the sense of security is full. The front desk brother and sister have a good attitude and check in in seconds. The room was even more pleasant, the space was oversized, the cleaning was huge, and there was no dust in the corner. The bed was soft like trapped in the clouds. People like me who recognized the bed slept until dawn. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the 24-hour hot water is super fast, the water pressure is sufficient, and the hot bath instantly dispels the fatigue of the journey. The most plus point is that there is a self-service washing machine in the public area, and the long-distance trip can finally wear clean clothes! The price/performance ratio is really nothing to say. Whether it is a student party or a family trip, it is super suitable. Next time you come to Xining, you must live in this house. I have already recommended it to my friends. Don't worry!

The hotel has a good location and convenient parking. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel staff are warm and thoughtful, especially the front desk service attitude is good. The facilities are complete, the cost performance is very high, and the stay experience is good.

I was on a business trip to Xining. The hotel I booked before was upgraded when I arrived, including two colleagues. The room was very good, clean and hygienic, no smell. The doors and windows are also better sealed, and the soundproofing can also be done facing the street without making any noise. This hotel is relatively close to the museum, and public transportation is also relatively convenient. Taxi rides to major surrounding places usually cost a little more than 10 yuan. There are many places to eat nearby. There is a Hunan restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel which is pretty good and costs less than 60 yuan per person.
