Yokohama Kohoku Ward Hotels

I initially thought I'd booked a hotel in Yokohama, but it turned out to be Shin-Yokohama. Oops, wrong location! However, having JR and Shinkansen access right downstairs was incredibly convenient. The hotel is situated directly above a shopping mall, so dining and shopping options were plentiful. While the hotel is a bit older, it's impeccably maintained. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a pleasant bonus, and complimentary coffee was a nice touch.

I've written my impressions of the hotel as well, so this will be a bit repetitive. I requested a room on a high floor with a good view, and they listened to my request, so I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was well-cleaned, but one thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was a lot of black mold on the side of the toilet remote control. Also, the cup in the sink was worn and scratched, so I didn't feel like using it. If these two points could be improved, it would be perfect. The bed mattress was also to my liking, and I slept soundly. I'll be taking the Shinkansen, so this hotel is really conveniently close to the station, the room was clean, and it's become one of my favorites. I've already made a reservation for September. Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel: Clean and Comfortable, Despite its Age The Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel offers a clean and comfortable stay, even though it may be slightly older. While the rooms might be on the smaller side, they provide a good space for rest and relaxation. A particular highlight seems to be the excellent condition of the showers and the cleanliness of the toilets. These are important aspects of a comfortable stay, and it's great to hear they are well-maintained. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in Shin Yokohama, where a good night's sleep is a priority, this hotel could be a good option, even if it doesn't offer the most spacious rooms.

Clean hotel that is well connected to shin-yokohama station and shopping area. Carpark chargeable at 1500 yen from 2pm to 11am, 200yen for additional 30mins. 15mins drive to restaurant that creates the first gyu-nabe.

I used it for an event at Yokohama Arena, and it was close to the venue so it was really easy to use. However, the only problem I have is the air conditioning. When I used it, I wanted to use the air conditioning so I turned it on, but only hot air came out, not cold air, so I decided to open the window for the time being, but I try to avoid opening the window if possible, so it would be great if the air conditioning could blow cold air. Other than that I think it was really good.

I've stayed here several times. It's very close to the station and very convenient for shopping and eating. There are many good cafes nearby, and all of them taste good. Walking straight out the door is the Shin-Yokohama Stadium, which is perfect for morning jogging. If it's cherry blossom season, the cherry blossoms blooming by the creek are even more amazing... The only thing I don’t think is ideal is the shower head in the shower, which is not aligned with the body. It’s so annoying😫

It was very convenient because it was close to Shin-Yokohama Station and there was a convenience store nearby. The amenities were the style of getting the necessary amount in the lobby. The free breakfast was delicious and it was very nice to have plenty. Also, I would like to stay here again when I have the opportunity to stay in Shin Yokohama!

I stayed here for a 2-day concert at Yokohama Arena. You can enter and exit freely with a magnetic card (there may be restrictions at night❔). I contacted them to store my luggage before checking in, and by coincidence, they said a room was ready and kindly recommended an early check-in. They said they would store my luggage the next day, but for convenience, I left it in a coin locker at the station. It was very clean and I had no complaints. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity. As an aside, the liver and chive skewers at the nearby Jinbei were delicious, so I ate there two days.

Hotel was great, Comfortable bed. Good sized room. Breakfast won't win any awards but was serviceable. Ate one time at the Chinese restaurant, food portion for price was ridiculous. Was supposed to feed 3/4 people, I left feeling hungry. Staff were very apologetic.. Either drop your prices of increase your portion size. Sweet and sour pork (which wasn't great) with 6 pieces of pork for 2000yen.

I stayed at this hotel for an event at Yokohama Arena. The check-in service was excellent! ⭐︎ Normally, check-in takes a while at any hotel during an event, but they allowed me to check in early, allowing me to use the lounge (breakfast area) and wait, which was extremely helpful during this scorching heat. However, I thought I would have to wait in line for the elevator as the number of people waiting increased, but when it was time to check in, the staff called out to me by floor, and I was able to get on the elevator and check in smoothly.♪ Thanks to them, I was able to get changed and rest before the event! When I stayed here a while ago, there were people stuck near the elevator, making it difficult to move, but I'm grateful to the staff for their daily efforts and improvements! I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity! Thank you very much!♪
