The B&B is located next to the terraced fields, and the scenery is beautiful as you walk in.
The welcome fruit is very rich, the breakfast on the first floor is very good, the eggs are runny, and dinner requires an eight-minute walk to the restaurant, with someone to lead the way. The dipped chicken (chicken soup) is so delicious! The tree flower fried eggs are also delicious, and the red rice is fragrant.
The downside is that the car cannot reach the door, and you need to walk a distance after getting off the car, although the scenery along the way is great.
The service was very good, there were some minor issues in the middle, but they were resolved perfectly in the end.
By the way, Duoyishu Hotel is also very good. It is right next to the observation deck and very convenient for viewing the terraced fields. However, the food is not as delicious as that at Huijing.
Yiqiutian Inn was newly opened in August last year. The facilities are very modern and the decoration is also good. It is especially clean and hygienic. The proprietress and the boss are very enthusiastic and responsible. They helped us upgrade the view room so that we can see the terraced fields outside from the room. They came and went to help us carry our suitcases upstairs. When we left, they also enthusiastically gave us red rice. They responded to our needs in a timely manner and provided relevant information about going out to see the terraced fields, which saved us from unnecessary detours. It was a very good stay experience. The Yuanyang Terraces are really beautiful and this trip is very worthwhile. Thanks to the boss and the proprietress for their enthusiastic service. The dishes cooked by the proprietress are also very tasty.
Located at the core of the scenic spot, it is very suitable for tourists who arrive in the afternoon and watch the sunrise the next day. There is a parking lot and parking is very convenient. The diet is average.

When you arrive at the hotel, you will feel a high-end atmosphere. Frontdesk is very good, skilled in business, and polite in language. When you enter the room, you will find the hygiene is very meticulous, and the bedding is very comfortable. All the items have been carefully selected for a good match and overall very good. It really impressed us. The decoration is pretty good, everything is good, and it's worth the money and good even for longer stay. It can be seen that the management level is high.
If we come back to this area, we will definitely select Terraced Rose Winery Holiday Hotel
Hotel location is very good, more than 400 meters from the bus station, there is a pedestrian street not far from it. The hotel decoration is very new, the room air conditioner is cabinet air conditioner, the wind is very strong, but the lighting is relatively dim. The hotel is backed by a mountain, there are workers working on the steps outside the window, and the curtains cannot be opened. Occasionally, there are small bugs infested, it is recommended to close the sewer. Breakfast is red rice noodles, very special, I feel that it is not bad in this small county.
Quite tricky to find, down a single lane road, but car parking available next to hotel (20 yuan). Very friendly and welcoming owner, everything very clean and thoughtful design of rooms and communal areas. Rooftop terrace perfect for star-gazing and sunrise - we booked a room with an east view which was lovely in the evening when we arrived but quickly got very warm in the morning, this would be great in winter but maybe the cool rooms on the other side of the hotel are better in summer. Excellent breakfast of noodles, very comfortable room and bed, the hotel is on the edge of an authentic village and we spent a few hours wandering around the rice terraces in the morning. Highly recommended.
advantage:
The environment is good, clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is quite quiet. However, the sound insulation of the door is a bit poor, and sounds can be heard from the corridor.
There is an independent balcony and there is no light pollution nearby at night. If the weather is good, you can probably take pictures of the stars.
Breakfast is one serving per person. If you don't have enough eggs and corn, you can add more. It's quite rich.
You can order food to be delivered to the room, and the taste is still good.
shortcoming:
There was not enough hot water during peak water hours. Even when I took a shower in mid-May, I even turned it to the hottest setting and it was so cold that I shivered.
Doors and windows must be closed when entering or exiting, otherwise flies may fly in.
Food was delivered to the room. It took an hour from ordering to eating, which was too slow.
Just love at a glance!
Surrounding the inn is the distant mountains such as Dai, Qingtian into the painting. Parking is available in the small courtyard downstairs, and the room is very large and spacious! Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows, drinking tea, watching the puppy duck calf on the road downstairs, don't have a lot of fun.
The boss is a super tasteful literary young man, the famous school graduated fluent in English, and the foreigners nearby came to ask him for a tour guide. If the time is right, you can also follow the boss to the market. There are many local dishes that you don't know, as well as delicious rice noodles and snacks, which is very interesting!
In short, I am very satisfied. If there are six stars, I will give six stars. Haha!
At first I didn't understand why such a good homestay had so few stays and reviews. Later, I heard from the boss because they closed for a while to go out to study. Let's put it this way, if you are not particularly clinging to the scenery of the terraces directly from the window, but pay more attention to the travel experience. This homestay is your best choice for traveling in Yuanyang! The hotel has two room types, mushroom cabins and suites, the suites are more spacious, and the cabins are more distinctive. The public areas of the entire homestay are very well renovated, and the boss also pays attention to the experience of tourists! Here you can experience Hani Fire Pond, roast tofu with the boss or other travel friends, roast fire, sing, drink...More worth mentioning is that the back mountain of the hotel is a great location to see the sea of clouds! Wake up in the morning, get up slowly from the bed, walk to the back mountain to see the beautiful sea of clouds, it feels so wonderful! The accommodation in the mountains can't be too critical, the boss has done his best to provide what he can! The boss is very hospitable, and the boss is very beautiful and gentle. This is not much better than those hotels with any net red? This homestay is really the best experience of this trip to Yuanyang! It is very close to Dawazhe, Blue Terraces, and Azheke, within 3 kilometers.
Unfortunately, we encountered a cold wave in Yuanyang this time. There was sleet on the way up the mountain. The weather was quite regrettable. Without sunshine, we could not see the light and shadow terraces. But fortunately, the hotel has floor heating and air conditioning, which is still very comfortable even in such a cold weather. The most important thing for going up the mountain in winter is the facilities. The room you booked can also soak your feet, which is also a highlight. If the pool is bigger, it would be even better to soak in a medicinal bath. The butler service is very proactive. The two meals we had were also very good. The boss is also very nice and introduced a delicious beef restaurant. Next time I have the opportunity, I will stay a few more days and walk various hiking routes.

GGuest UserThis small beautiful hotel is perfect for people to love travelling and hiking. The location is just above the terraces with amazing view. Sam is a great host, always kind and helpful, who speaks very good English and helped us to enjoy our stay at the hotel and explained hiking routes around the valleys.
Super recommended!
ZzuriahI would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.
GGuest UserWith a faint aroma of coffee, Tingshan Lodge is a combination of coffee and homestay. The accommodation environment is hygienic and clean, and it is especially quiet at night. There is a parking lot in the village downstairs, and the Duoyishu Observation Deck is very close. I went to the free one recommended by the boss. Looking at the Sunrise Square, it is very beautiful now. The inn is located in the center of the scenic spot, and it is cost-effective. The front desk on the first floor is a coffee space full of stories. This is how life should be, casual and enjoyable~
LLuhuizhaziThe hotel is in a very good location. It has been renovated for quite some time. The sanitation is good. It has floor heating, which is very good. The hotel service is satisfactory. Parking is a bit messy when there are many people. The breakfast in the restaurant is also messy. The sanitation needs to be improved.
GGuest UserThe room is large, the environment is clean, the dry and wet areas are separated, and there is a terrace with floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the view. There is also a restaurant for convenient dining, and the breakfast rice noodles are delicious. The hotel also provides the opportunity to wear ethnic costumes for taking photos. The stay experience is good and cost-effective. We didn't see the terraced fields this time due to heavy fog. We will stay in this hotel again in the future.
GGuest UserWe loved our stay. It was Chinese New Year so it was a bit busy in the area, but our hotel was an oasis. We found the hotel staff helpful and accommodating. This hotel is a good location if you want to hike through the rice terraces and from village to village.
JJamesHarrisThis was a really unexpected find in the villages around the Yuanyang rice terraces. The building itself is really beautiful and directing overlooks the terraces. The room was surprisingly large and the floor to ceiling window offers a great view(weather permitting). The bed was super comfortable and shower hot and powerful. The best part was the sister who works here; she couldn’t have been more helpful, even walking us to the nearby village to find a place to eat. She is enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the area. The only downside(and I know it’s a bit of a sensitive issue) is the lack of air conditioning in the room. Even at the end of June it isn’t hot around Yuanyang, but it is very humid and air conditioning could definitely help with the latter. That being said, I slept well with the window open and would definitely recommend and stay here again.
GGuest UserHighly recommend Jackie's guesthouse. It's a really beautiful location right by the rice paddies, nestled into his village. It was a big plus for us that he is fluent in English, so we could ask him lots of questions and he helped us alot. Thank you Jackie!
The area is a bit tricky to explore because they don't seem to do scooter rentals for foreigners. So you have to take these minivan taxi/bus things, which we experienced a lot of unpleasant haggling with. More of a taxi than a bus, at least for tourists. But it sure is beautiful and an interesting culture to get to know.
GGuest UserThe inn is located close to the sunrise viewing platform, about 10 minutes' walk away, which is quite convenient and successfully avoids traffic congestion, especially on holidays. The conditions of the inn are average, but very clean. The innkeeper is very nice. We wanted to hike with our children, and he recommended routes for us and took us through the places where we are most likely to get lost. Although the whole hiking process was a little regrettable, the whole family was very happy and satisfied. Let me talk about the boss's cooking skills. The food is really good and the portion is big. We, three adults and two children, had three dishes and one soup and were all full. In short, the two children were full of praise.
TTravis and ElishaWhat a great location for being amongst the terraces! We splurged and got the terrace view room, and it was very nice with a great view, comfortable bed, warm blankets, and hot shower. The room has an unblocked view of the terraces. But if you don't get that room, the upstairs balcony has the very best view. But we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bed with hot tea.
Lucian is really great! He explained to us different hiking options for seeing other views. His English is really good too so you can ask him any questions about the area. He has a sweet old dog and a cute young cat. He's also available to pick you up if you get lost or have trouble getting back after sunset.
There are 2 good restaurants a 10 minute uphill walk away, or Lucian can cook you meals, which are also great.
Thanks Lucian!
