"Long trip that day so we really needed a break and this hotel was very accommodating. Comfortable needs, didn't get to use the gym though"

"I have stayed at quite a few Wanda hotels in the past and always had a pleasant experience but the past two days were anything but pleasant. I had a two night stay in Zhangzhou Wanda Realm from the 22nd of January to the 24th of January. I have listed my grievances below. 1. Air-conditioning does not work. My room was a constant temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and even after turning on the air conditioning did the temperature not go down. I had to ask the hotel to open a window to decrease the temperature and thus let polluted air into the room. 2. I booked an executive room knowing that I would receive some benefits. Not only was the executive lounge closed but as stated in the notice, they requested we use the hotel lobby bar which was also closed. I paid 850RMB per night for this room. If I am not going to have the benefits of an executive room at least refund me. 3. Swimming pool times have drastically decreased to limited times. I know that this is Chinese New year but isn't this the time when the hotel would receive most of its guests and thus have all the amenities ready and working to make a guest stay very pleasant. 4. Breakfast buffet was below standard of a 4 star hotel. Not only was the selection of foods extremely basic but the food was severely under stock. One would think that a four star hotel would be able to plan for a busy time like Chinese New year but no, there was limited food on basic items like eggs and bacon. Staff were not prepared for such large amounts of people. 5. It seems like this hotel is closing down as many water features and other amenities are either out of order or not working properly. It is an embarrassment to call this hotel a luxury hotel. It has the facade of a luxury hotel but cannot deliver on basic amenities. Please see my photos for evidence of my unpleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and tried to help where they can but it would be better to close down this hotel than call it a luxury 4 star hotel."

"The hotel is in a great location, right in the ancient city. There are many delicious foods to choose from, and it is quiet in the bustling city. It is a homestay with a very southern Fujian style. There are smart robots to serve us, and we can use the ”Tmall Genie” to open windows, turn on the TV, turn on the air conditioner, etc., which is very convenient. "Advantages: 1. The hotel is new, the facilities are new, the quality is high, and there is no odor when staying; 2. The price and accommodation conditions are very cost-effective; 3. If you bring your children with you, you will get a small doll as a gift when you check in; 4. There is a refrigerator for you to bring your own drinks, coffee, tea, and 4 bottles of mineral water are provided free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all brand new packaging. Disadvantages: 1. I checked in at 2:50 pm, but the front desk only gave me one room. They explained that the other room could not be cleaned and it would take another hour. Because I booked 2 rooms in full on Ctrip one week in advance, the hotel should have cleaned and reserved the paid rooms in advance, instead of explaining that the cleaning was not done after the guests arrived and making them wait for the rooms. 2. Check-in took too long. It took almost 20 minutes to check in for two rooms. During the check-in process, I was still waiting at the counter when a guest came in and threw a room card in. The front desk checked him out and asked him to get a parking card, etc. They totally ignored the order of service. It was very unprofessional. 3. There was no welcome fruit when I entered the room. I told the staff on the same floor and they said they would arrange it right away. But when I came back a few hours later, there was still no fruit. Finally, I called the front desk and they arranged for the fruit to be delivered. Shouldn't the guest be notified of the fruit delivery as soon as check-in is confirmed? Why do they have to contact us twice? 4. The bathroom trash can has no bag or lid. In a confined space, the odor in the trash can will come out after a long time, which really loses points~ 5. The hotel is newly renovated, and the windows are on the side, so you can only open a small gap. There is a noticeable decoration smell when you sleep at night, and the sour smell of formaldehyde and glue is quite strong 6. The room temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius that day. Because the room was not ventilated, it was stuffy. As a result, the air conditioner only blew out normal temperature air, and I sweated a lot. However, the heating was normal. 7. Booking a room with buffet breakfast on Ctrip costs an additional 69 yuan per person. As I was not sure about the itinerary at that time, I did not choose breakfast. Later, I went to the store to ask the front desk, and they said I had to pay 128 yuan per person. I said that the Ctrip booking was 69 yuan per person. The front desk changed the words and said that the on-site booking at the front desk would be more than 80 yuan. I asked if they could give me the Ctrip price. The front desk said that the on-site booking would be more than 80 yuan, or you could go out and experience the breakfast in Zhangzhou by yourself. The tone of voice at that time was a bit choking, which made people feel very uncomfortable. PS: I saw many reviews from Ctrip users, some said they received breakfast coupons, and those with children also upgraded their rooms. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch any of them~ In general, the hardware conditions are good, the software services still need to keep up, and the odor from the decoration still needs to be removed~"

"Good location, only ten minutes walk from the ancient city. There are many restaurants and barbecue hot pot restaurants nearby For hotel service, get on and off the car with staff to help carry luggage the next day in the rain and still borrow an umbrella to buy takeaway if the hotel has a takeaway robot can deliver to the door of the room do not have to go downstairs, but to tell the takeaway to the front desk, otherwise the takeaway will throw into the takeaway pickup 😂 The overall environment of the hotel is clean but I don't know why the refrigerator in the room is broken and not cold at all😂 I can't use it myself so it doesn't matter. The toilet is separated from dry and wet but between the bathroom and the toilet is a glass spacer if it comes with fried it may not be available at the same time should be quite embarrassing. The bathroom had a bathtub however the hotel did not have a disposable bathtub cover so there was no soaking. The only small dissatisfaction was the communication between the hotel departments may have some problems I was told the first night at the front desk when processing the renewal had explained that the next morning did not need to come to clean the room, by the way asked the front desk to bring me two more water. Then the staff came to the door to deliver water asked once, do I need to come in to clean the room tomorrow morning, I said no 😀. Somehow I left early the next morning and returned to my hotel room at night to find someone had come to clean the room. Because I was more concerned, I deliberately handed over that I didn't need someone to clean it. I thought I would wait until I got back to the hotel to ask someone to come and clean things up. I confirmed this with the staff twice, but it didn't work. 🥲 Other than this, everything else was satisfactory, the hotel staff attitude was quite good. The soundproofing is acceptable, occasionally you will hear the sound of the car horn outside, and a little next door opening and closing the sound, and not too noisy. Overall recommend to order this."

"On the first night of staying at the hotel, my neck and arms were extremely itchy and had rashes. At first I thought it was due to acclimatization or allergies to something I ate. I was itchy for two days after staying there. After returning to Shanghai, I went to the hospital and the result was that I was bitten by bed bugs, also known as bed bugs. I was very depressed. I have been staying at Atour for so many years because of its cleanliness, hygiene and high cost-effectiveness. I hope this hotel can carefully disinfect the mattress and bedding. Being bitten by bed bugs is really itchy!"

"Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, right by the river with stunning night views. The ancient town is just a convenient walk across the bridge. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a hot spring area, making it perfect for both adults and children to enjoy water fun. Cons: The hotel's management is quite poor. 1. While dining in the restaurant, staff would abruptly reach over to clear plates or place napkins without any prior acknowledgement or greeting. I found this quite intrusive; a simple 'excuse me' beforehand would have been much appreciated. 2. When cleaning tables, staff simply brushed food scraps directly onto the floor. 3. Food dropped by other guests on the floor was left uncleaned. Even after guests pointed out that it was a slipping hazard, staff failed to address it until we had finished our meal. 4. The swimming pool is also used for lessons, and at times it gets so crowded with students that it's impossible for other guests to swim or simply enjoy the water. 5. Our room had two protruding nails on the floor that could easily injure a child's bare feet. We reported this to the front desk for repair, but upon returning to the room, only one had been fixed. I was too frustrated to complain again, so I just covered it with an item to prevent my child from getting hurt. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these detailed issues and makes significant improvements."

"Our stay this time was both convenient and comfortable. The curtains, air conditioners, lights, and exhaust fans can all be controlled by voice. Opposite is Wanda, and there is a large market for shopping. These are very convenient for eating and shopping. This time I came to Zhangzhou mainly to go to the ancient city. It is also about 2 kilometers away from the ancient city. I have to say that the buildings are still very artistic. The room was quite quiet at night. The bed was super comfortable. It was a latex mattress and there were 4 pillows on the bed, which gave me a good sleep. The most important thing is that with this soundproofing, you really can’t hear the noise outside at all as long as you close the door. Highly recommended! The hotel has an elegant environment and complete and new facilities. The lobby is spacious and bright, giving a good first impression. The room is exquisitely decorated, the bathroom is clean and smell-free, and there is plenty of hot water. Moreover, the sound insulation effect of the hotel is good, so you will not be disturbed at all. The service staff are friendly and I feel very comfortable staying here."
