"I specifically brought my elderly parents to Zhangzhou Ancient City for a visit this time. Since they have mobility issues and need a wheelchair, I was worried about the inconvenience of travel and accommodation beforehand. I had been communicating with the hotel about various matters before our departure. To my surprise, our entire stay was exceptionally comfortable, and I genuinely give it a full five-star rating! The hotel's location is excellent, situated right in the heart of the ancient city. As soon as you step out, you're on the old streets and alleys, with all sorts of Minnan specialty foods and popular photo spots close by. It was incredibly convenient to explore with a wheelchair. While it was lively and bustling outside, the courtyard was serene and quiet. It's an authentic Minnan ancient house courtyard style, with an elegant and clean environment. The greenery was meticulously maintained, making for a beautiful and healing landscape. What touched me the most was the hotel's thoughtful consideration for guests with mobility challenges. The accessibility features were very well-implemented. The courtyard pathways were flat and smooth, with no steep inclines, making it effortless to push a wheelchair in and out. The corridors were wide and open, allowing for easy and stable passage. When the front desk staff saw us with our elderly parents in a wheelchair, they immediately came over to offer assistance. They were enthusiastic and meticulous throughout, with a warm and polite attitude. During check-in, they prioritized a low-floor room on the first floor for us, avoiding stairs and complex routes, which greatly facilitated the seniors' movement. The room was spacious and airy, spotlessly clean, with soft and clean bedding. The mattress was neither too soft nor too firm, making it exceptionally comfortable for my parents to rest. My family all said they slept very well. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the floor was anti-slip, with every detail considering the safety of the elderly. The hotel's service was so meticulous it was heartwarming. Knowing my parents had difficulty walking, the staff proactively slowed down their speech, patiently asked about their physical condition, and repeatedly reminded them to be careful on the stone paths in the courtyard. Throughout our stay, any request we had was met with immediate and quick responses. They were very enthusiastic about helping deliver items and assisting my parents. When we returned from outings, they would always proactively offer warm tea, asking if my parents were tired from their journey. Their sincerity and genuineness were truly commendable. After a tiring day of sightseeing, the hotel's natural hot spring, with its comfortable and gentle water temperature, was a great relief. Soaking our feet after returning helped us relax significantly. The breakfast selection was rich yet light, catering to my parents' dietary preferences. The ingredients were fresh and healthy. When the staff heard we had high blood sugar, they specially prepared low-sugar meals for us. From the service details, their warmth was evident in every aspect. I initially thought traveling with elderly parents in a wheelchair would be problematic, but thanks to the comprehensive facilities and warm service at Xiyue Hotel, our entire experience was beautiful, clean, with human-centered facilities and warm, attentive service. Every aspect was impeccable, and it offered excellent value for money."

"Facilities: The hotel's concierge desk is on the ground floor, while the lobby is on the 47th floor. To get to your room, you first take an elevator from the ground floor to the 47th floor, then use your key card to transfer to another elevator that goes to the rooms. The toilet in the room was quite old-fashioned but thankfully clean! The curtains are electric, and the TV is pretty big, though I didn't try to cast anything to it. The sofa area is well-designed with a large round table and a sofa that has power outlets nearby, making it convenient for charging phones and laptops while relaxing. The bedside tables are also spacious, great for placing items. The air conditioning was powerful and effective. The mini-bar fridge was empty, and only two bottles of mineral water were provided. The washbasin was small. They only provided two toothbrushes, a comb, and some cotton swabs. No razor, which is fine, but not even a shower cap – I wonder if it was just overlooked! Service: When I first arrived, it was a bit frustrating; there was no service at all, and I had to ask about everything myself! At the front desk for check-in, the staff said my name wasn't on any order. They asked to see my Ctrip order on my phone, which was a first for me! I didn't encounter a single staff member who greeted me; they just acted like guests were invisible! I even bumped into a young staff member outside my room who just glanced at me twice and acted like she didn't see me. This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, but their service training in this regard is clearly lacking, especially for young employees who should have this basic awareness! Later that evening, when I went to the concierge to pick up a delivery, Xiao Jie was very helpful. He assisted me with my packages, gave me a tote bag for my items, and even offered to dispose of my trash. Environment: Getting food delivered is easy, pretty much anything is available, and there are also restaurants downstairs, which is convenient! Deliveries are brought by robots, but you have to call the concierge separately to request the robot delivery, likely for security reasons. The critical part was that my delivery arrived at 7:27 PM, and after two follow-up calls, it finally reached my room at 7:50 PM – unbelievable! Parking: I pre-arranged and reserved a ground-level parking spot. It was very crowded, so if you have a large car, it will test your driving skills!"

"Location is excellent as it is right next to the temple and river providing good views from the rooftop as well. Logistics wise you can walk to most places within the ancient city and they provide washing machine and dryer (though there is only one and dryer takes at least two hours) you will need to drag your luggage for 3 to 5 minutes and the rooms are in 2nd or 3rd floor. You can call them to help pick up your luggages up and down for you. Naturally to hail a cab, you need to walk 3 to 5 mins out as cars can’t get in Room is a bit tight despite family room for us but beds were comfortable enough. Felt floor could had been a bit cleaner. noise will be an issue if you plan to nap in the afternoons as its at the centre of the action"

I was a bit indecisive at first, but then realized they're essentially the same. **Orientation Selection:** One side faces a hospital, so if that bothers you, you can request a different orientation in your booking notes. **Breakfast:** The breakfast is an incredibly rich spread of local delicacies, served buffet-style. The restaurant is located on a very high floor and feels quite upscale."

From the warm welcome by security guard Chen Zhibin at the entrance, to the quick check-in by the front desk lady who even helped upgrade us to a family room, the kids had an absolute blast. A special shout-out to Ms. Xu Huaping from housekeeping; not only did she promptly deliver everything we needed, but she also surprised the kids with their favorite Prince Frog, along with a heartfelt handwritten card. 👍👍👍"

Check-in and check-out are always efficient, and the front desk staff are professional and knowledgeable, even offering great tips on local attractions. All this at a very reasonable price makes it perfect for business travelers."

"Overall, the hotel prioritizes affordability and can't be compared to a five-star hotel, but a relaxed stay will provide a very good experience. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was spacious. The living room had a swivel armchair, which the kids especially loved; there was also a tea table, perfect for relaxing with tea. The hotel is located in Building B of the Bihu Wanda Plaza apartment building, right next to Wanda Plaza and Wanda Golden Street. Eating, shopping, and ordering takeout are incredibly convenient, with delivery even available to the room. Restaurants were open during the Spring Festival, and there are many children's attractions nearby, such as ring toss and amusement rides, making it ideal for families with kids. Breakfast is free, offering simple meals like steamed buns, porridge, and fried noodles—enough to fill you up. Even if you pay extra, it's only 15 yuan per person, offering excellent value. The service was very good. The downsides are that you might have to wait for the elevator during peak hours, and the apartment-style decor and limited number of electrical outlets make charging inconvenient."

The decoration style is very good, one step at a time, the public areas including the hotel lobby and the corridor are very stylish. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the furniture is unique. A table and a chair are exposed to the beautiful Song Dynasty style, which makes people calm down without feeling in it. There is a small open-air hot spring pool in the hotel, the Yueting King Room is equipped with a small balcony, and the garden scenery is unobstructed. The room hygiene is very meticulous, and the toiletries are also upscale. The hotel hardware facilities are impeccable. I hope that after the partial renovation of the hotel is completed in time, the management and service level will be higher. The buffet breakfast meal variety can be richer. Such a hotel is definitely the best choice for staying in the ancient city again!"
