"The location of this place is absolutely fantastic! Given that Hong Kong is so dense, the room might not be as spacious as hotels on the mainland, but it has everything you need and feels incredibly cozy. It's in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, just a few minutes' walk to the Avenue of Stars and Victoria Harbour. Downstairs, you'll find countless restaurants, shops selling daily necessities, gold, jewelry, watches, designer bags, and banks – everything is super convenient. It's a great spot for shopping lovers, and the value for money is excellent. The owner is really welcoming too. I'll definitely be back!"

"I recently visited Hong Kong and stayed at the Maple Leaf Hotel. It was a really good hotel, offering everything you could need. The rooms had a fridge, TV, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary bottled water. Plus, you could easily refill your water bottle to take with you, so no need to buy water at night. I even saw guests from other hotels coming into the reception area to get water, which probably means their hotels didn't offer that service. Given how expensive Hong Kong is, having free Wi-Fi, water, and other amenities really helps guests save money. As for the room, it was very affordable, and the service was excellent. Every corner was spotless, and the private bathroom was also incredibly clean – you could spend ages just admiring the cleanliness. The location was also fantastic. Downstairs was a famous shopping center where you could find anything you needed, so no need to travel far. Across the street, there were all sorts of Hong Kong street food options. Subway stations, bus stops, and even a taxi stand were all right across the street, making getting around incredibly convenient. I had a wonderful time at this hotel, and every detail left me with perfect memories. I really liked it, and if I get another chance to visit Hong Kong, I'll definitely book this hotel again. 🥰"

"A really great hotel! It's located right in Mirador Mansion, next to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. It's within walking distance to China Hong Kong City, Harbour City, Kowloon Park, and Victoria Harbour, and just one or two MTR stops away from core business districts on Hong Kong Island like Admiralty and Central. The facilities aren't brand new, but the sheets, pillows, duvets, etc., are all very clean and tidy. The host was very polite, proactively reminding me about details like needing to boil water ten minutes in advance. I'd always heard that Hong Kong hotels don't provide disposable toiletries, but this place had toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, and more, laid out in the public hallway for guests to take, which was very thoughtful. There's absolutely no need to worry about safety; the room door can be deadbolted and has a security chain, and there's also a guesthouse operating license posted outside, so everything is very well-regulated."

"Located on the 10th floor of Chungking Mansions, just a few minutes' walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. The room was also very clean. Although I arrived at 2 AM, they assigned me a triple room. There were no strange odors, but the air conditioning was a bit too cold."

"Out of the four hotels I've stayed at in Xinxing Building this trip, this one is by far the best value for money at its price point. It's also the only one I extended my stay at. "The hotel is in a decent location, with convenient access to nearby restaurants and public transportation, which made getting around fairly easy. However, the room was quite small and felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. Amenities were rather limited, with not much beyond the basic essentials. While the hotel was generally clean and the staff were polite, the overall experience was average and didn’t particularly stand out. It’s an acceptable option if you’re mainly looking for a place to sleep, but don’t expect many facilities or extra comforts."

"This was my first time staying in Hong Kong, and after a lot of searching, I decided to book this place. It's really close to Causeway Bay MTR station and bus stops – public transport is super convenient. There's also a tram (ding ding) stop nearby, but I didn't get around to taking a picture of its name. The staff at the hostel reception and the person who showed me to my room were both lovely. They gave me two small bottles of water, and the staff member who took me to my room even kindly helped me with my luggage. Once I was in the room, I found that the shower water temperature and flow were both excellent and fully adjustable – very comfortable to wash with. There's a TV, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a rack for drying clothes. The natural light and the view outside the window, in my opinion, were absolutely stunning – I was truly amazed. I've rarely stayed in such a good place on the mainland. Everything was there, including a hairdryer and an electric kettle, which were so convenient and looked great. It basically met all my needs, and I stayed in a double room. I chose to book this place specifically because I was visiting Hong Kong for a trip and also to attend the ACGHK expo for a day (it's about 1km from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, so quite close). The air conditioning worked well, though it was a bit noisy, but it didn't really bother me. The mattress, duvet, and pillows were all very comfortable – I basically fell asleep as soon as I lay down and slept soundly, so the noise from the AC or anything else didn't affect me. For me, it has too many pros and no cons. The hairdryer worked well, and the clothes rack was convenient for drying clothes (I also brought my own portable folding hangers). Anyway, next time I come to Hong Kong, if possible, I plan to book this place again."

"The stay at Venetian Hostel was a good one. Surprising at first if you are from the west due to it's location, but equally super interesting and an authentic experience of Hong Kong. The rooms were small, but no one is expecting luxury at such a price, clean, the AC worked well (which is a must in such a hot place) and the reception was very helpful. The roof of the building also makes for a pretty cool hang out spot if you can manage the heat."
