Facilities: The decor is very ******* in style, with wood being the predominant material in the rooms. It might not have all the amenities of a typical hotel, but it's full of character.
Cleanliness: It's quite clean, though there's a faint, elusive yak smell in the hallways (not entirely sure, so beware if you're sensitive to smells); the owner has several cats, which is a huge plus for cat lovers.
Environment: The location is right within the ancient town, just over 900 meters from its center.
Service: The service is very attentive, and the breakfast is delicious. There were also foreigners staying here.
Free airport/high-speed train station/bus station pickup or drop-off: It seems this service is no longer available, but it's very close to the train station, about a 5 km taxi ride, so it won't cost much.

This is an excellent spot for people who are visiting Lijiang. It is within Lijiang Old Town which has so much to do. There are tons of places to stay, but this place is right outside the north gate, about 200M. Very accessible and drivers/tour groups to Tiger Leaping Gorge/Jade Dragon Mountain can easily pick you up from here.
It is within Lijiang Old Town so cars cannot come in. Don’t make the mistake of not messaging ahead of time that you need a cart to take your luggage like I did. They will come pick you up free of charge. Add them on WeChat and they will respond quickly to any requests. The place has 2 entrances, one is a coffee shop. They have tea and snacks, plus a lovely garden for guests. There is plenty of space to put your bags and comes with a humidifier for the drier air. I highly recommend this to travellers who are coming from afar. The breakfast was great as well.

This is a wonderful guesthouse. In fact, it was my favorite accommodation of my 30 days in China. The family who run it are absolutely delightful - it's their home, where guests are made to feel very welcome. One family member speaks good English; another has a speed & dexterity on the translation app that is unparalleled; and everyone is extraordinarily helpful. I've never received so much kind assistance in a lodging before.. although the two little grandsons, aged 2 and 3, are still learning ;-)
The location is just perfect. It's a few minutes' walk outside Dali old town's south gate. I soon discovered it's actually better to stay here than inside the gates, because there are more food options and fewer tourist shops in this zone. The guesthouse is located right between two streets that have many, many restaurants, plus numerous street stalls and even a few cafes, with places open from early morning until late at night. So it's the ideal base for enjoying the multiple delights of this very special city.
Oh, and my room was great too, up on the third floor. I loved waking up to views of Mt Cangshan, sometimes topped with a cloud, sometimes clear.
If I can return to Dali, I will request a room here for sure. Staying in this family guesthouse makes a magical place seem even more magical. :-)

We stayed here for 2 nights and felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. The owners are very kind, warm, and thoughtful 🫶🏻They allowed us to check in early & choose our room, even upgraded our room for free. On our last day, they kindly let us check out late at 8pm without any extra charge and helped us with our luggage. Plus the hotel is also very close to the North Entrance Gate ✨
Bonus: they have a super cute cat 🐱
100/10 — truly one of the best stays in Lijiang. Much love 🤍

Design: A small yet beautiful guesthouse with a human touch; every piece of decor reflects the owner's taste. The common areas are cozy, perfect for interacting with fellow travelers.
Ambiance: At night, when the lights come on, the courtyard is dappled with light and shadow, creating a serene and gentle atmosphere—perfect for journaling or simply unwinding.
Setting: Conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk to the ancient city, ideal for travelers looking to slow down and rejuvenate.
Overall, my stay was fantastic. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help. The room was spotless and tidy, and the bathroom was well-equipped with stylish decor! The guesthouse is also very close to the ancient city, making it easy to get around. All in all, it offers excellent value for money and comes highly recommended! 👍

The location is great! You can see the snow-capped mountains right outside the guesthouse. There's a viewing platform where you can enjoy afternoon tea. It's also very close to the ancient town and not far from the bus stop. Since we stayed for three consecutive nights, they arranged airport pickup for us and even helped with our luggage, which was excellent service. We hadn't planned our trip, but the owner thoughtfully recommended attractions and routes. Overall, it's great value for money, highly recommended!

Cute and welcoming hotel!! We arrived very late after a long drive and the owner waited for us to greet us and check us in, and even upgraded us which was a real treat! The room itself was very spacious and equipped with everything, there was a bathtub and shower, and also a small porch. Bed was comfortable. The only problem is that it’s a bit far from the old town and the main attractions in the city, but we definitely recommend if you like staying in a quiet area and have a car!

This B&B is absolutely fantastic! The room is clean and tidy with amazing natural light. The host is warm and thoughtful, and the location is super convenient for getting around. I felt so comfortable and at ease, I'll definitely choose this place again next time! The B&B's location is superb, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. The room is clean and bright, with all necessary amenities provided. The host is incredibly kind and always ready to help. I had such a safe and pleasant stay!

Traveling with my parents is very good to find the facilities are quite complete and very clean. The bed is not bad. It is very convenient in the ancient town of Yiren. It is not too noisy at night. Overall, it is good.

This guesthouse, with its charming wooden architecture and antique style, perfectly complements Lijiang Old Town, making you feel as if you've traveled back in time. Its location near the north gate of Lijiang Old Town is incredibly convenient, with plenty of snack shops nearby and a 7-11 directly across the street. The guesthouse facilities are thoughtful and meticulous, especially catering to guests from Southeast Asia who might be sensitive to the cold. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly; as soon as we checked in, we were immediately offered a generous spread of fruit and desserts. It's a guesthouse that truly offers a unique and immersive experience. If you're looking for a step back in time, this place is definitely worth a try!

MM891800****The best decision I made on this trip to Lijiang was choosing the Yueting Inn! I truly didn't want to check out~
The location is absolutely perfect. It's on Lion Mountain, super close to Sifang Street. You can walk to the core area of the old town in just a few minutes, yet it's still away from the hustle and bustle, so I slept incredibly soundly at night. The biggest surprise was the huge viewing terrace. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise paint the gray tiled roofs red, and in the evening, you can sit and feel the breeze while watching the old town light up. Every photo you take is a beautiful scene that needs no editing. The room has a Naxi wooden structure style, combined with modern design. The large floor-toceiling windows offer fantastic natural light, and both the heating and air conditioning were very strong, which was so thoughtful in Lijiang's slightly chilly weather. The bedding was super soft, and I slept wonderfully.
The owner and staff truly embody 'attentiveness' to their core! We had large suitcases and when we arrived at the entrance of the old town, a quick call brought a staff member to pick us up, saving us the trouble of dragging our luggage on the cobblestone streets. After checking in, they gave us a super detailed guide to eating, drinking, and entertainment, even marking niche photo spots clearly. They also kindly treated us to hot tea and flower cakes. When we left, they proactively helped us carry our luggage to the roadside and thoughtfully reminded us about taxi precautions. It felt as comfortable as staying at a friend's house.
The public tea room is beautiful; you can sit there and daydream, or chat with friends from all over the world. This is the slow pace of life Lijiang should offer~ Whether it's the design, service, or value for money, everything is top-notch. I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Lijiang, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit!
EEnnaService was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!
GGuest UserEverything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way.
The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers.
During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊
On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us.
We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there..
DDamanmanThe best parts were definitely the view and the service.
The inn is located on Lion Mountain, and there's a fantastic large terrace on the third floor. The hallway leading out of the rooms on the fourth floor also offers amazing scenery, with views of the Old Town and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You can even lie in bed and see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains.
The inn's service is just as impressive as the view. Everyone was incredibly warm and attentive to every detail. They provided a complimentary airport pick-up when I arrived and helped me book a car to the high-speed rail station when I left, all at a very reasonable price. They also assisted with carrying all my luggage.
MM2be7dsk1****I've stayed in many guesthouses, and this time I chose Guanxin Guesthouse online. First and foremost, their service is excellent. Their housekeeper contacted us a day in advance to ask about our arrival time and came out to pick us up. They also offered afternoon tea, and what touched me most was their complimentary late-night sweet soup – so thoughtful! The room was very cozy, and the biggest surprise was the underfloor heating, which wasn't an extra charge. I feel really lucky to have found such a hidden gem this time.
__WeChat423078****The inn staff met us at the nearest drop-off point outside the old town to help with our luggage. The owner was super welcoming and recommended some amazing local eateries – every single one was delicious, no duds at all! The inn itself is filled with so many plants and flowers, it really feels like you're staying in a lush, green garden. The facilities and service are excellent too; the air conditioning in the room runs 24/7, so whether you're back from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain or a late-night stroll through the ancient town, you instantly feel warm and cozy. There's also a rooftop terrace with direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
GGuest UserIt was a very comfortable stay.
We were given a free upgrade from our 120-room room to a family room.
The service was excellent, with airport pickup, shuttle service, breakfast, and afternoon tea.
We had everything we needed. Our clothes were torn and we couldn't find a tailor, so the owner even bought us a sewing kit out of his own pocket.
Honestly, it was the best value for money. The service was so good that I wanted to tip an extra 100.
NNataliia_MerkulovaExceptional Hospitality – Above & Beyond Every Expectation!
This hotel's kindness truly amazed us! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—they even provided free airport and train station transfers, which was a huge relief.
The lovely receptionist always asked what time we'd prefer breakfast, making sure everything suited our schedule. We also loved having access to a tea station downstairs, where we could enjoy a proper tea ceremony anytime. And after a long journey, the welcome fruits were such a thoughtful touch!
The room had everything we could possibly need—even small details like a hair tie were provided. The Dyson hairdryer was a nice bonus!
A special thank you to the receptionist (安大喜 Ann) for organizing our trip to Blue Moon Valley. When we realized we'd miss breakfast, she packed it for us the night before—so we still enjoyed a fantastic meal with a mountain view (photo attached!).
Even when we had issues with tour guides, 安大喜 Ann was available 24/7, offering advice and support. She went out of her way to help us in countless ways—this level of care is rare!
We highly recommend this hotel—their personal approach is truly outstanding and makes all the difference. Unforgettable stay—we'll be back!
Sshirley1012This was my parents' first trip to Yunnan, and Dali was their first stop. Since I couldn't join them, I spent a lot of time beforehand choosing a hotel. After they checked in, they found the room to be spacious and comfortable, and the hotel environment was very elegant and unique, with a distinct local flair. Most importantly, it's very close to the ancient city, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel's concierge was exceptionally thoughtful, contacting us a day before their arrival to confirm their check-in time. The departure transfer service was arranged promptly, and the breakfast was much to their liking. Thank you for making my parents' first stop in Yunnan such a comfortable experience!
AAihecaomeibingnatieThis hotel was by far the best I booked for my trip to Yunnan! I absolutely loved it, and it was so peaceful. A good hotel really makes a difference when you're traveling. I even considered extending my stay for another night! I chose a room type with a small balcony, and you could see the snow-capped mountains and the ancient city – it was just perfect. If the weather had been better and I'd stayed a few more days, I could have seen the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' in the mornings. And the service was truly excellent; the concierges were very thoughtful, even reserving parking in advance. I was just too rushed; I wish I had known to stay a few extra days in Lijiang to really experience the hotel's unique features. Oh, and most importantly, they have adorable 'Hajime' (cats) at the hotel! I saw a little orange one, and the manager (cat) was yawning lazily – so cute! I'm so incredibly happy with my hotel choice!
