The hotel is very centrally located on Zhengyi pedestrian street. The rooms are clean and spacious. The common lounge area has free flow coffee and flower tea. I also was able to ship all my taobao purchases to this hotel and received everything in good order when I arrived :) Staff can't speak English but they are helpful.

Highly recommend as This hotel has the best service! Everyone is so nice and goes the extra mile to help. Shoutout to Afei who gave us useful advice and helped to arrange transportation for us to travel from dali to here and then on to shangrila. We were served welcome drinks and snacks and a great hot breakfast. So many convenience stores nearby and 5-8mins walking for halal food options. Hotel has a cafe in the lobby where you can get delicious coffee. We loved our stay and the garden was beautiful. Free usage of their washer dryer too which helped greatly. Hotel can arrange trips to JDSM for you which is highly recommended. Afei was always available on wechat to help us navigate Lijiang as foreigners! Thank you so much for everything and we will be back again soon!

Staying at Honglin Pavilion Inn in Dali was an absolute gem! The facilities and amenities were top-notch, far exceeding my expectations, and truly enhanced my trip. The inn's location is incredibly convenient. Step right out into the ancient city's streets, and a stroll to Erhai Lake is just a few minutes away. Walking into the courtyard was a breathtaking experience; it's designed in a classical Chinese garden style, with rockeries and flowing water complemented by vintage lanterns. The common areas feature incredibly comfortable rattan chairs and tea sets, and they even provide complimentary tea and utensils. In my free time, I'd brew a pot of tea and enjoy the scenery – it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. All in all, the stay brought immense happiness. Next time I'm in Dali, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The place is perfect for a one night stopover for us - the shower is warm with warm lights, towels and blanket are thick, pillows are big and fluffy - we had a good night’s sleep!! Room was spacious as well with slippers and good amenities. Not to say the service and experience was good - there was someone who came to pick up our luggages by the roadside with a tiny truck (super cute) so we didn’t have to carry 4 luggages up and down the stone paved roads. Walk was really short (2-3 mins) from the main road where our driver dropped us off. Did the same when we were leaving - with the pick-up point at 一棵树客栈. When we asked for food recommendations, the staff passionately gave us a few and even communicate to the shop staff at 疯牛宫 (where we ate) that we were there and they gave us complimentary 酸梅汤 (and this was good!!). When we had small trouble with the sink, the staff came over immediately and resolved it. 10/10 service and experience 🙏🏼 thankful!

The hotel is conveniently located near Dongmen, surrounded by a plethora of fantastic food options, and you can even enjoy a drink at a bar in the evenings. The facilities are comprehensive, the hygiene is impeccable, and the environment is beautiful. The service from the staff, especially the ladies, was exceptional—they were incredibly warm and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The room I booked has an amazing view of jade dragon snow mountain. We could see the 日照金山 directly from our room and could see there are photographers at the open area downstairs taking photos also. Room was clean and comfortable, spacious enough for us to lay out our 2 luggages. Easy access to ancient city but will need to walk uphill when coming back to the hotel. Service was great, the hotel guy gave us instructions on how to get to the hotel and carried our luggage to the hotel and also carried it to our Didi ride hailing spot when we left. He was also super responsive on wechat. We could also leave our luggage overnight when we went to tiger leaping gorge.

This guesthouse truly deserves a strong recommendation! I experienced altitude sickness during my trip, and the landlady was incredibly caring about my condition, even providing an oxygen concentrator for me. Because we had elderly folks and children with us, she was worried about us struggling with the stairs, so she upgraded us to the largest room for free! The guesthouse also offers transportation services, which was incredibly thoughtful. Her kindness and attentiveness made us feel very at ease, just like meeting family while away from home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the environment was very quiet, allowing me to rest well. I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit Shangri-La. I arranged airport pickup with the hotel in advance, and the driver was quickly contacted after I landed. They even had bottled water in the car – very thoughtful! My first impression of the room upon arrival was its cleanliness; the table was spotless, and even the windowsill was dust-free. During my three-night stay, the cleaning was prompt every day, and the towels were replaced daily. The location was very close to the heart of the ancient city; I didn't need to take a taxi to visit the Mu Palace during the day – it was just a 10-15 minute walk. One evening when I returned late, the staff at the entrance even reminded me to watch my step – a very thoughtful touch.

Very quiet, no air conditioning, but there is a cold fan in the room, very close to the Confucian Temple, you can walk there, the street downstairs will have many locals selling vegetables and fruits in the morning, and there will be many small breakfast shops, which is very suitable for long-term living and summer vacation. The largest local vegetable market can also be reached on foot, I recommend everyone to stay

The hotel is very well located in a strategic area, close to the main road, which makes it extremely convenient, especially for guests with luggage, as there is no need to walk far. The hotel features a beautiful classic-style design that gives a comfortable and elegant atmosphere. It is also located near a 7-Eleven, making it easy to buy daily necessities. Lijiang Old Town is within a short walking distance, so there is no need to travel far to explore the area. The room is well equipped and thoughtfully designed. The bed comes with a heating function, which is very comfortable, especially during cold weather. The makeup area is separated from the bathroom, providing better privacy and convenience. Overall, the hotel offers great comfort, a good location, and excellent facilities. Highly recommended for travelers visiting Lijiang.!!
