We stayed just one night at this hotel and it surpassed our expectations. We don't normally stay in larger chain hotels but the staff here were very friendly and the service was great. The executive room we stayed in was on the third floor with a balcony. We had a large comfy bed, seating area and desk. The bathroom had a lovely large shower and I appreciated the L'Occitane products. The breakfast was superb with a huge choice of items. All in all a great hotel choice.

We spent two nights here recently and fell in love with this property. We chose it because it is just a 30-minute drive to Vaduz, Liechtenstein, which we were in the area to explore. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view. This was the biggest hotel balcony I've ever seen! It was a beautiful room. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and found the food to be delicious. The portions were large enough that my husband and I wished that we had ordered one entree to share. The staff was friendly and helpful. We walked all around the property to see the spa, pool, meeting area, sauna and more. The bathroom in our room was huge and the shower was terrific after a long day out. It was just a beautiful property, and we would gladly stay here again any time. It was a peaceful two-night stay. Thank you.

Clean rooms, although these have come somewhat into the years, especially the bathroom (at least our room 204, partly they appear on guest photos more modern). Very friendly, speedy reception. Free deep garage, central location. Wi-Fi unfortunately somewhat unstable, probably also room-dependent. Breakfast sosolala, but enough. If anyway, would come back, price-performance ratio voted for us :)

Stayed 4 nights over Christmas at this Hotel. Staff were excellent as was the whole experience.On Christmas Day they organised a wonderful Christmas dinner with entertainment as part of the package. Whoever was responsible for the cleaning of our room was to be commended , can't go into detail here but it was somebody with a wonderful sense of humour..

I booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lustenau, Austria, with the understanding that it was a pet-friendly property. As a responsible pet owner, I made sure to travel with my well-behaved small to medium sized dog. Upon checking in, however, I was taken aback by an unexpected and exorbitant charge of 25€ tagged for my pet. Not only did I perceive this as excessive, but this fee was not transparently communicated during the booking process. The hotel's advertising and website did not mention this additional cost. Furthermore, considering that we found no extra amenities provided for pets to justify such a substantial fee, the charge seemed especially unwarranted and unjust. While the rest of the hotel facilities and services were satisfactory, this unforeseen expense greatly affected our overall experience. The lack of transparency about this charge lessened our trust in the services provided by Holiday Inn Express, Lustenau, strongly influencing our consideration for future stays. We understand and appreciate that hotels may charge for additional services or requirements attendant to hosting pets. But transparency during the booking process about such charges is fundamental to maintaining consumer trust. We were disappointed by this oversight and would recommend that future guests with pets inquire about all possible expenses in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises at check-in the reception was friendly and of course it was not her fault .

I was in a double room for 4 nights for alone. The room was very clean and quiet. I have very well sleeped. I also liked the fun bathroom, it's something else and not as 0815 as otherwise. At breakfast there is a good choice so everyone can find something. The dinner (HP) was very delicious. There is a 3-gang menu and a salad buffet. When you choose the main gang between a meat,- or vegetarian dish. But the most best thing I liked was the sauna area with the great outdoor. Here I really could relax well. I'll probably come back once I need a short wellness time. Price,- Performance ratio is true for me, especially since I was still allowed to use the sauna area on the day of departure.

New hotel with a great shower and comfy beds! Loved the motion activated night lights under the nightstands. Very good cocktails at the bar too. Air contitioning too! Which is pretty important once the heat increases outside. The lobby has a comfortable and modern seating area to sit and enjoy a drink or read one of the many magazines available. Close to several restaurants too.

It is few years now that my husband and I are going to Bregenz Festival, enjoying Bodensee and the opera. This year we chose Messmer Hotel, and we've been very happy with the choice: right in the centre, conveniently close to everything worth seeing in Bregenz and in a waling distance from the venue of Bregenz Festival. We chose the package including ticket, an aperitif and dinner: we enjoyed it, everything was very good. Rooms are clean and cozy, very welcoming. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well, making you feel at home. Definitely recommended!

This location really ought to be regarded as an Ibis Budget hotel. Staff at check in couldn’t manage a smile (nor any enthusiasm), and parts of the room remained unclean, and in poor cosmetic condition. The in-room hairdryer was held together with sticky tape. One of the bathroom glasses was wet at arrival, with a long hair inside it (despite my never having touched it). Unfortunately, and as with many Ibis hotels, the in-room soundproofing felt practically non-existent. The “bed” was particularly poor - a thin, rock hard mattress, set against the wall (no headboard), and propped up by legs that have seen better days. While my stay here came about by necessity (visiting from Vienna for the Bregenz Festpiele), I would be very reluctant to return. While it, obviously, is standard practice for hotels to inflate (sometimes severely) their standard rates during major events, this Ibis is simply NOT worth it for most people. Perhaps, paying the much lower standard rate, it might be 🤷‍♀️. Bregenz seemed a lovely, sleepy city - its Ibis does not do it justice.

I stayed at the Night Inn Hotel for 2 nights (on my own) in July 23, as I wanted to do some sightseeing and visit Lietchtenstien. The Hotel is in an ideal location for this purpose, as it is literally next door to the Railway Station and you walk out of the front door, onto the bus station. It is also only a short walk into town. My room overlooked the bus station and although, with the window open you can hear the noise of the trains and from the bus station, when I shut the window, this eliminated the noise. My room was a double and was spacious and clean and had everything I needed, including a coffee machine (which was very welcome). The room had a lovely walk in shower. I only had breakfast at the hotel, which was basic, but nice (Hot and cold, buffet style). And I had a couple of drinks at the bar in the evening. There is also an outside terrace which is nice in the sun. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, when interacting with them. This hotel was an ideal place for me and I have nothing negative to say about it.

We were able to snag night at this hotel but had to move on due to a lack of rooms. We would have loved to stay longer if we could have. This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. This was a last-minute booking, so I cannot complain about the lack of room availability, and I was happy to get one night. The room was a suite and well equipped. In fact, it was an excellent room for the price. The staff was wonderful, and the location was perfect. It is walking distance to everything in Bregenz. I would return to this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to my friends. There is a bar attached to the hotel (KreuzBar, which is EXCELLENT and well run) and there is a restaurant connected by the courtyard/parking area behind the hotel. The train station, lake port, cable car, and pedestrian malls, are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is one of the best I’ve stayed in.

We stayed five days to visit the Bodensee, Bregenz Festival and a glimpse of Vorarlberg. We rarely enjoyed such a mixture of understated luxury, comfort and staff friendliness. The room was great, spacious, with a breathtaking view over the lake and mountains, well-equipped - a mention for the fluffy bathrobes - and both the spa and the ”Badehaus”, a specificity on the Bodensee, were both elegant and well appointed. An impressive breakfast buffet begins the day, meals on the large garden terrace are really inventive and excellent. A highly recommended place to stay,.

The JUFA Hotel Bregenz is nice enough, and in a very convenient location, but there were a few issues that I'd like to share. While our room was very spacious, it was in the 2nd building (not the building in which the reception area and dining area are located). Our room was on the first floor and directly adjacent to a parking area and busy street. As the weather was warm and the rooms are not air-conditioned, we had some of our windows open and the noise from the parking lot and street was quite loud - some of the guests were leaving in their cars before 7:00 in the morning, talking, loading luggage, and banging their doors just a few meters from where we were trying to still sleep. When I mentioned this to the staff at checkout, they were not particularly sympathetic and didn't even seem interested in my comments. In their defense, the checkout process seemed to take an unreasonably long time and as there were only 2 people working that morning, the line of guests waiting to check out was quite long, so they might have been under some pressure to not address my concerns at that moment.

There is a supermarket next to it. Very convenient. Pay attention to the time. Closed in 1930, convenient parking. The front desk service is enthusiastic and the breakfast is very good. There are also Chinese restaurants nearby

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in June 2023 to vacation on Lake Constance. Lake Constance can be reached from the hotel in 15 minutes by car. Dornbirn city center is within walking distance. Dornbirn train station is right next door, but that's not a problem. We liked the hotel overall, but it also has some weak points. You can tell that the hotel is very new, everything is very modern and we liked the style. The room was clean, but one day our room cleaning was completely forgotten. We could only change the towels at reception in the evening. But the room was no longer cleaned. We have never experienced this in any other 4-star hotel and it shouldn't happen. Care products such as conditioner and especially tea and coffee were never refilled by the cleaning staff. Unfortunately, we couldn't drink coffee or tea on the last few days and the kettle was therefore useless if you don't have any products for it anymore. Unfortunately, there is no blackout curtain on the window. The curtain was white and did not darken the room. So it was bright as day in the room at 5 a.m. Not so nice if you actually want to sleep in on vacation, and of course that's difficult in a brightly lit room where the sun is shining. Otherwise you would have had a really wonderful night's sleep, as the beds were very comfortable and it was always very quiet. Unfortunately, there is no table in the room. If you want to write something on your tablet or laptop, the only option is the bed. This also means there are no shelves. There is enough cupboard space for clothes, but for everything else you have on a table (tablet, laptop, cell phone, keyboard, etc.) the only option is the floor. The WiFi is extremely fast and worked perfectly. We really liked the wellness area, it was always very quiet and clean. Unfortunately, there are no towels available in the wellness area, so you only have your bathrobe and a single towel for the sauna for the entire stay. It is therefore impossible to shower in the sauna area with a fresh towel, also because there is no shower gel or shampoo in the sauna showers. This should be a given in a 4-star hotel and we know it from other hotels. The hotel promotes sustainability, but unfortunately there are only disposable plastic cups in the rooms and in the wellness area. This is not appropriate for a 4-star hotel and is particularly not sustainable and should be urgently reconsidered. The staff were very friendly throughout, especially the staff at reception and in the restaurant. We mostly ate dinner in the hotel. The menu is very varied and the food was always very good. The hotel has modern, well furnished rooms and very comfortable beds. My room had a very spacious terrace, with a beautiful view and a comfortable bed. Beautiful shower! Breakfast is spacious with every good of God, salty and sweet: really the best that can be as variety as as quantity and quality. I'd like to try dinner. The fridge bar is a little too expensive.

The positives first! Nice welcome when we arrived. The room was large and even had a walk in closet. I haven't seen that very often in a hotel! Otherwise, a somewhat boring breakfast, and a strange sound coming from the sink made it a little difficult to sleep. We arrived late and left early, otherwise we would have complained and asked for a different room, but we told the reception when we checked out. Clean and nice hotel, but not quite our style.

We spent 2 weeks doing an Alps tour. We didn't really have any plans in Dornbirn, we just needed a place to crash for the night before heading into Switzerland. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the Sonne1806 Hotel was! We were upgraded to a suite, which was well appointed, and we enjoyed hanging out in the top-floor lounge. The breakfast was better than any other we experienced at a hotel during our trip, with a wide variety of delicious foods. Parking was free and plentiful. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Dornbirn area.

We didn't do it in the hotel, but were just a group (announced) for breakfast in the hotel Montfort. We had expected significantly more from a 4-Sterne-Haus! The rush was totally dry and hard. The cheese was not written, so you had to try to know how mature, etc. He was. The emperor was attractive but at the dinner he uncovered as hard and dry. In addition, it did not appear to have been made himself, but looked like TK-ware. Generally we had the impression that the goods were prepared in greater quantities early morning and then kept warm for the following 3-4 hours. Coffee and other hot drinks are not served. Also mirror and div. Other freshly prepared products are not offered. In general, breakfast is not worth 4 stars.

We were impressed by the built-in amenities and meals offered by the Best Western Premier Central Hotel Leonhard. Hotel was very comfortable and was located very close to the old city and within manageable walking distance from the railway station in Feldkirch. It was very close to the Schattenburg castle. The breakfast layout was very good and the restaurant was specious. They had a reasonably good choice in the breakfast layout to select from. Room was cozy and we could take a bird’s eye view of the old town. Staff manning the reception were very courteous and helpful and catered very well to our needs. We experienced that the seats in the reception area inadequate if a group of guests wished to stay in that location. Even though seating facilities was available in the adjacent area a hotel employee did not allow us sitting in the adjoining lounge where there were sofas and seats. We were enjoying our stay very much until this employee behaved very discourteously harassing us just prior to our departure. Reception staff intervened and apologised to us as a measure of damage control but management of this hotel should take note of this harassment we faced, which we have already reported to prevent such incidents that would tarnish the reputation of their hotel, Consider increasing seating facilities in the reception area for guests. This incident compelled us to rethink seriously about the number of stars that we could give to this hotel.

Apartment-style hotel. There are kitchen utensils, you can cook simple meals yourself, there are supermarkets, bread and ice cream shops nearby. There is no front desk, make an appointment with the hotel in advance. The hotel will send information to inform the room number and the password to enter the door.
