The hotel is beautiful and in a good location on 4th Street. Multiple restaurants and bars to eat but be sure to set reservations. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were very stiff and there was no thick comforter. Parking can be a little confusing, more signage needs to be visible because of valet and everything else the parking garages are hard to see. We had a larger vehicle and had to use a different parking garage, and due to all the valet in the front part you couldn't see where that parking garage was therefore we ended up parking in public parking garage down the road. Hotel staff was good about this and refunded us for the hotel parking so we was not double charged. One thing that I noticed that would be a big help to visitors is more signage within the hotel and parking garage. The hotel is very large and all the floors look the same so you can get quite turned around with which Tower you're going to or where the restaurants are located. For example, it would be good to have some signage inside the elevators so that you know which floors have access to which restaurants/skywalk. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.

I was going to chalk up my experience as an isolated incident and let it fade away. That was until I received a phone call last evening around midnight! A rep. from Trip calling me asking about for my input concerning my stay at this hotel. I relayed to her that I had called Trip.com a couple of months ago right after a friend and I rented a room. We rented a room around 5pm or so. I had expressed that the power in our room - the TV, Lamps, Microwave, Frig., did not work. We put a complaint into the front desk around 6pm. Issue was not resolved until later on, around 10pm approx. About an hour after that is bedtime so 95% of watching TV, microwaving, etc, was wiped out. When I put the call into Trip,.com a couple of months ago, I received no follow up, until last night. Last night the caller wanted feedback about my room. I went over everything that had occurred. She also wanted input on how they could improve. I said, it's very simple, just focus on basic customer etiquette and satisfaction. At no point has any type of recognition been expressed concerning my loss of enjoyment of here said hotel stay. Customer service/satisfaction is becoming non-existent .

Stopped here on our way home from vacation. The front desk person was overwhelmed as she was trying to answer the phones and check people in. She was very nice but overworked. I was very surprised to find out that I had to put up a $100 deposit in addition to the room charge. Not a great way to start. The hotel has a second floor but no elevator. We had to lug all of our stuff including our pet up the stairs. The room was clean and the air was on which was nice. The clock/charging port by the bed did not work, the shower drain would not stay open, the exhaust fan did not work and the water was hard to turn off so it would not drip. Several patches to the wall were obvious and were not well done. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. I did notice some people who seemed to be making this place their residence. I saw a beat up charcoal grill near the pool area. Also all people staying in the rooms had to be identified and all visitors had to be registered before coming to your room. It seems like they have had some problems in the past which prompted this policy which I had never had happen before. There is a Cracker Barrel nearby to eat at. There are also several gas stations nearby. It is an alright place to crash for a night with a pet.

Had to ring bell twice then phone to get receptionist initially. Had to ask 2 additional times later for information. Nice hotel none the less. Coffee makers should be back in rooms. And should have ice on all floor including main floor.

Budget-Friendly Airport Hotel. I stayed in this Best Western SureStay while in the Louisville area for business. This hotel is located near the expo center and the airport and is close to highways and restaurants. Check-in was a breeze as there was no significant lineup when I checked in. They do not have a digital key, so you will have to physically check in and check out if you need a receipt. Like many Best Westerns, you also have to ask for them to send you the bill by email. My room was a standard king room with plenty of space and hardwood floors. The room was a good size and had plenty of cabinets and storage space. I did notice a musty smell when I opened the cabinet that stores the mini-fridge. Since the fridge is inside the cabinet, it has no way to vent thus the musty smell from moisture building up inside the cabinet. The wifi signal was easy to connect to and the signal was good enough for streaming and web surfing. The rooms have a couple of USB ports, and I suggest bringing a charging block for additional devices. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The AC/Heating unit was a little noisy but worked well. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The fitness center has old and aging equipment. There is no water cooler or disinfectant wipes in the fitness room, or any additional workout equipment aside from some free weights. There are no benches, mats, or foam rollers just ancient cardio equipment and some free weights. I passed on the gym and just did a bodyweight WOD in my room. Breakfast is your standard two-star hotel fare with limited hot and cold choices. There are the standard pastries and some other options. Nothing stood out so I went to Dunkin for my coffee and breakfast. There is an outdoor pool that was open during my stay and many people were using it. Overall, a clean and budget-friendly airport hotel, good for a one or two-night stay.

Everything was explained to me and it was clear. I proceeded to park my car ($19 a night fee) and then go to my room. The room was clean and everything was in order. The staff at Springhill were always helpful in everything I asked about; Food, entertainment, complimentary water, etc... I actually had some issues with my car battery and needed to charge it. Derek Woodmore was SO kind and helpful in assisting me in getting an outlet to plug in my charger for the car battery (let me use the lobby outlet). He was a life saver. Then the day of checkout, I was again having issues and the manager, Jacob, was assisting me again and even offered to jump my car with his truck. Everyone there were so ACCOMMODATING! I would certainly go back again. The breakfasts were complimentary and there was enough variety to get my day started.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We checked in Friday and Saturday morning my husband who is a 4 year stroke survivor with aphasia and apraxia went down to the lobby to get coffee and take an outside break. The front desk staff demanded to see his keys to the room and when he had trouble communicating with them they accused him of being a vagrant. Before calling our room to verify with me that he in fact was a guest they called the police. Needless to say we packed up and left. Completely disgusting!

We were very impressed with our stay here. The hotel was on brand as we have stayed at HI Express for years and this one did not miss the mark for IHG quality. Not sure how long the hotel has been here, but it seemed very new. The room was very clean and comfortable. Love the new showers that have very high ceilings, good lighting, and great shower heads. Love the new Dove pumps for shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/body lotion! The room also has a microwave and fridge. Great location and easy to access right off of 71-75. Breakfast had a nice variety of options. Love the cinnamon rolls! Plenty of comfortable seating to eat. Only fast food options nearby and then the new restaurant next door opened the day we were there. Cattleman's Roadhouse - very good - check it out!

Very vibrant hotel! Much lobby, Coppin bar area, activities with weddings and proms. Our room was spacious, well appointed with contemporary updates which added to comfortable living. Highly recommend for any visit to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Convenient parking, easy access to hotel. Will make this our “go to” when visiting family and friends in the area.

When I take my shifting schedule to the desk, they earnestly attempt to accommodate my early arrival, my early departure, etc. They cannot always work it out for me, but they try. The effort is appreciated! The rooms are clean and never disappoint.

During our recent stay at 21c Museum Hotel in Louisville, we had some positive experiences but also encountered significant issues that completely marred our visit. On the positive side, the food and cocktails at Proof on Main were fantastic. The staff at the restaurant as well as the the friendly doormen, contributed positively to our stay. We also appreciated the art gallery, a highlight from our previous visit, which once again added a unique touch to our experience. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, meeting our expectations. However, upon checking in, we discovered that the perks we were entitled to through our booking with a travel advisor, such as breakfast, property credit, and room upgrade, were not initially applied. The front desk eventually resolved these issues by providing breakfast vouchers and confirming our upgrade, though the lack of initial acknowledgment was disconcerting. Additionally, when we checked out, the property credit was not applied which added our frustration after the experiencing the peculiar situation below. Unfortunately, a troubling incident involving my missing purse from our hotel room overshadowed our stay. Despite our assurances that it was likely taken by accident with the linens, the hotel's handling of the situation was extremely poor. We spent considerable time dealing with the front desk, cancelling credit cards, and worrying about the lost purse, which significantly affected our trip. Although the purse was eventually returned, the staff's reluctance to take responsibility and the persistent issues with our booking perks left us with a negative impression of the 21c Hotel brand. Over a week later, I still have not received a response from management about our experience. We will not be back nor will we recommend 21C to others.

Carpet in the halls had stains, I smelled **** in the hallway, I told the front desk clerk & she said that she was going to tell housekeeping to spary. This is a smoke free hotel, she never left the desk to see where the smell was coming from. We put our bags in the room & went out for about two hours, came back and still smelled **** in the hallway. We decided that we would just go to bed & check out early and leave, about 11:00 fireworks went off until a little after midnight. I told the front desk that we where going to check out early, she said that as long as we left before check out time , there should be no problem with not paying fr the second night. Well I am still having to pay for the night , that I was no longer in the state. So if you don't mind stains on the floor, paying to park your car in their parking lot, and hearing fireworks until midnight, I would not recommend this place. Run fast !!!!

My husband and I stayed here with 2 small children 2 years and 7 months. We were really impressed how the staff looked out for our kids. They always made sure we had enough food and drinks at breakfast and gave us snacks and water for the day when we go out. Excellent service and great location. Room was clean and perfect size for us to have enough space to put up 2 pack and plays for the kids.

Beautiful hotel, great location, staff were very nice. I left too early to comment on food. My biggest complaint is the studio kitchen appliances; the fridge was beat up and dented, which wasn't a huge deal, but it did make an AWFUL grinding sound all night which prevented me from sleeping. I eventually just ended up unplugging it, which didn't matter since there was nothing in it, but would have been horrible to have to listen to all night.

Nice hotel has food and drinks in hotel. Staff could be more friendly; some are but a few are not. No micro-wave in room which disappoints especially for the price you pay, even cheap best westerns have micro-waves. Location is ok but have to walk several blocks to get to the heart of bars and food, this is a lil scary at night with the high crime rate of the city and many homeless folks everywhere. Came mostly to do the bourbon tours which was great. Watch what they charge you when you get there it will be more than what was quoted to you if you book online ahead, kinda deceiving.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Louisville Marriott Downtown. Located close to great restaurants and entertainment. Carla and Sarah were awesome hosts in the lobby bar. Especially knowledgeable about Kentucky bourbons, they were the best bartending duo we’ve encountered in quite a while.

Not worth the aggravation or your money! Unless they do a clean sweep at the front desk and make sure they treat all guest as a priority I wouldn’t bother. Unprofessional and need race relations training. Only valuable employee is the night auditor which is a very nice Latina woman. She broker her neck to make sure I was taken care of. The others could care less about my comfort at that hotel. When I got of the elevator each morning they would turn their heads and not speak. I cut my stay and move to a luxury corporate lodging apartment.

The service is really great here as well as the cleanliness. The room is really spacious, it does not feel cramp like other motels/ hotels I have been to. Another thing I liked about this place is that on the third floor there is a guest laundry room where you go use the machines for a certain amount of quarters and you have to bring your own detergent. Because of COVID-19 they serve breakfast in paper bags which are available in between 6 - 9AM, said breakfast is a banana, bottle of water, and a NutriGrain bar. Overall, the stay here in Springhill Suties was really great everyone was frinedly and efficient, next time I comeback to Lexington I will for definitely book at this place again.

Best stay in Lexington! Gold elite Marriott member.. We have been traveling through Lexington for years. Booked this hotel as our prior “ go to” hotel was terrible for our last stay… and is inexplicably ranked higher than this gem excellent location, ample free parking with easy access to rooms. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at our Marriott stays. Clean and comfy room/beds. Friendly and helpful staff. So many restaurants to choose from with easy access from this location. We were sad to check out .. felt like home. We have already booked our next stay here!

I booked through Priceline and I won't do that again! When the dust settled we received the rate advertised. That was good. I did not like having a $50.00 a day hold placed on my bank account. No. My bank account was played with several times. And that hold assumes that the customer is going to cheat the establishment. That is not a good attitude. What kind of customers are you seeking? The room was very clean. And it was most comfortable. That was important to us since we were in Lexington for health care. Our request for a first floor room was filled. All amenities were provided. The room phone did not work. Maintenance came twice to no avail .The bathroom was very nice. The tub/shower had lots of grab bars. There was a very nice fold-down tub seat. The shower/ massage head did not move from the wall as it should have. Breakfast was minimal. Cereal, Danish, coffee. Chairs were up on the tables the second morning. A man took chairs down for us. The manager said ”Covid 19 restrictions”. There were two waffle irons but there were no waffles. We probably would not stay here again mainly because of the $50.00 a day hold on our bank account. The staff was courteous and polite. There was no road noise.

Location is wonderful. First room I was given, rm 320 had huge rattling noise from ac in room. As I am here for almost 2 weeks I requested a change. Moved to room 302. Room clean. Bed is tired with sides of bed collapsing and very center of bed a wall or mountain. Requested in writing to front desk/housekeeping to change or rotate mattress. That has not occurred or it has and the solution did not fix the problem. Room has one chair, small table, king bed with bed tables on either side. Might be cramped for 2 unless one is always in the bed. Lighting is yellow energy saving. Enough outlets built into clock or dresser but one available wall outlet in room and then two in bathroom. Room spotless, service everyday. Hot water in shower. Breakfast adequate:eggs, bacon or sausage, bagels, toast, oatmeal (add water but again water lukewarm) milk, juice, packaged cake or muffin. Coffee and tea service just warm. I noticed refrigerated surface for cold things warms considerably later in the am. I agree the staff sit behind a large monitor in front room. It is disconcerting as they do not rise to greet you or invite you to sit down. They do not acknowledge you as you walk in. You cannot see them. The woman who checked me in was wonderful, but she sat behind the monitor quite low as I stood. She graciously changed my room when I called down to say I thought her ac was working very hard and rattling, and brought me the key. Depending on who is at the front desk the phone is answered if you have a question, such as laundry services. Cleaning staff very pleasant. One wants to love this place. The ac has been consistently mentioned in reviews as has staff tucked behind monitor. Beds need to be updated. Room is otherwise quiet-depending on the room, great location, breakfast food basic, go early. In evenings has bar with bar food which is pleasant. Le Deauville next door good for dinner. Lunch is more difficult to find in immediate area, there is a sandwich place and Doodles Breakfast and Lunch. If bed was comfortable it could be a great stay in room 302. If they really took past reviews to heart the Sire would be 5 star.

Absolutely loved this hotel!!! Not sure why it has such a low star. Very clean. Very professional environment. I had the deluxe king suite and it was very nice. Comfortable bed. Only 2 things was I expected it to have a jacuzzi being the king suite and the shower (no tub) was a joke. It had no water pressure like barley even a dribble. Worst shower I have ever used.
