It’s a paradise to look out of the window when you get up in the morning, I shall be staying at this place if I ever return to Grindelwald.

Hands down, the best hotel experience during my trip to Switzerland! Nestled in the mountains, its location offers unparalleled views and breathtaking vistas. The rooms were spotlessly clean and uniquely decorated. Falling asleep to the scent of pine and a cool mountain breeze, and waking up to birdsong and the morning glow, made simply resting here a truly blissful experience. Not to mention the stunning mountain and lake views right outside the window – it felt like a fairy tale. A bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel, with Bus 101 offering easy access to the town and train station. The stop even has shade and benches. Across the street, what appeared to be a music school occasionally filled the air with piano melodies and choir singing during the day, making waiting for the bus surprisingly pleasant and something to look forward to. I must also commend Switzerland's excellent public transport system; both buses and trains run incredibly punctually. Remember to download SBB Mobile or Google Maps for checking transport information. The hotel provides a complimentary public transport card. However, for visitors staying longer than two days, I highly recommend purchasing a Swiss Travel Pass. It allows unlimited travel on trains, buses, boats, and panoramic trains throughout Switzerland during its validity, and also offers a 50% discount on cable car rides. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about guests' comfort, often checking if we were well-fed and rested. Upon check-in, we found a welcome chocolate placed on the bed, and the coffee was excellent too. All in all, staying at Parkhotel Beatenberg was an unforgettable experience, and I would definitely come back again! ❤️

We were disappointed from the pool, this was too cold for a wellness area.  At breakfast there was no summit or bread when we arrived it wasn't late. My husband asked and then he was brought back summit.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Interlaken West Station. Interlaken itself mainly consists of one east-west street, so the distance from the hotel to Interlaken Ost (East) Station is just one bus stop, or about a 17-18 minute walk. Taking this walk basically allows you to see all of Interlaken. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and while I can't see your specific photos (Figure 3 for the bus stop, Figures 4 & 5 for the schedule board), it made getting around very convenient. Breakfast was rich and delicious, a proper Western-style buffet with good bread. The hotel was clean, hygienic, and comfortable, though the beds were quite soft, which was a bit unusual for me as I'm used to firmer mattresses. We booked a four-person family room. During our two-day stay, Interlaken was quite hot, and the room only had a standing fan instead of air conditioning, so it did get a little warm. This is likely due to it being an older building, where installing AC might not be feasible. Overall, the service level was satisfactory.

My stay at Ibis Hotel truly highlighted the peace of mind and convenience that standardized hotel management brings. As a chain brand, every aspect, from check-in to room service, was well-organized and efficient. The staff were professional and enthusiastic, ensuring a hassle-free experience. While the room wasn't overly spacious and felt a bit compact, it was well-designed and equipped with all necessary amenities. What truly impressed me was the cleanliness of the room. The floor, bed, and bathroom were all spotless. The sheets and duvet covers were fresh and crisp, and the bathroom was free of water stains and odors. Attention to detail was evident everywhere. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk to both the subway and train stations, which was a real game-changer for anyone traveling by public transport. Whether catching an early morning train or returning late at night, it was stress-free and significantly saved travel time and energy. Despite the smaller room size, its outstanding cleanliness and superb location still make it a highly recommended stay.

The hotel is very close to Bern Station, within walking distance. Located on the west side of Bern's historic center, walking east directly into the heart of the old town makes it very convenient for walking tours. Free freshly ground coffee is available in the common areas. The room was quite small, lacking a desk or small refrigerator (a shared refrigerator is available in the common areas), but overall it was quite comfortable. Light sleepers should bring earplugs, as the historic Bern clock tower is so close that you can still hear the bells ringing in the early morning hours.

The location was excellent. It was at the city center with the main railway station and a major tram station within a very short walking distance.

Had a short stopover in Bern. Hotel room is clean. The amenities in the room provided were sufficient. Just a couple minutes walk away from old town while enjoying the view crossing the bridge. Or you can take a tram which is just a stop away.

Location, location, location! It's super convenient, right next to Wengen station. The town of Wengen is small, with all the restaurants, shops, and the Coop clustered together. Wengen is a stop closer to Jungfraujoch than Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. The train station right outside the hotel offers one-stop shopping for all your transfer tickets. I arrived by train from Zurich, and it required two transfers from Interlaken. It's ideal for guests planning to visit Jungfraujoch. Even if you're not going to Jungfraujoch, it's a peaceful and viable option. There are short hiking trails uphill, about 1.5 km to the top. I even went for a run in the morning. Service: Very warm and thoughtful. They helped me plan routes and even went out of their way to find a power adapter for me. Breakfast: Among the four hotels I stayed at during my 10-day trip in Europe, this one had the most extensive breakfast, with pretty much everything you'd need.
