It's a perfect place to stay in Geneva. The room was clean, everything was so convenient. The hotel offers free transfer from/to the airport, free public transport card. The bus stop is in front of the hotel, and takes 15 minutes to get to the city centre. Also there are many shops around to buy food and the hotel has 2 microwaves and hot water for tea downstairs. Also, if your flight is late but you need to check out, they have room for the luggage.
We stayed 2 nights and it was great and convenient.
Management please check this review and travellers please watch out!!!
A nice clean hotel with great restaurant which made me feel like home. Closed to the airport though location is a bit difficult for me to walk to the airport, but they have nice shuttle service to take guests from/to the airport. In my mind, I praised it was the best airport hotel I was staying ever, and they deserved a great review. (that was what I felt at the beginning).
With the reasons above I had extended to stay one more night to check out on 12 May 2025 when I could easily move to the hotel in front of it for the extra day (Nash Suites airport hotel) with cheaper price. I chose to stay.
I Got Really Upset And Disappointed when a box of Chocolate in my room got lost. I have pictures attached here in the review!!! Chocolates in Switzerland are very unique, and I intentionally went to Sweetzerland (a chocolate boutique) on Saturday to purchase two boxes for my friends in the Netherlands because Sweetzerland closes on Sunday. One box cost me CHF 22. On Sunday May 11, I went out till the evening around 6pm. As soon as I got back to the room, I realized one box of my chocolates was gone but left me the white gift wrap. I immediately went down to report to the receptionist. The one I first talked to was nice. She seemed willing to help solve the problems. She referred me to talk to another receptionist, her colleague but the lady she referred wasn’t available at that time. She asked me to go talk later again.
When I did, the second receptionist said all the managers, and house keeping they needed to talk to left because it was after 6pm. I asked her to call them. She said that was impossible. So, verfication wasn’t successful. Instead, she asked me to leave my contact number in Europe and email address because I was gonna check out the next morning 4 am. She claimed by the next morning 4:30 am after they talked, they would come up with a solution and would contact me. I waited for two full days, and no call or email received. This IGNORANCE shouldn’t be done. This considers BAD SERVICE!!! This shows that you don’t care about short stay travellers. How unsafe the guests would feel??? Now, it has come to the point that I was complaining about losing one chocolate box to complaining about bad manner of the receptionist! There were 3 receptionists that evening, she was the second lady who sat down in the middle with longer face shape. It happened on May 11 evening, and my room number was 311.
Management Please check and take this action seriously!!! Don’t let the act and services of those ladies ruined your hotel’s reputation. It was supposed to be a great 5 stars hotel but it ended up as one star. It is a shame to let the reputation go down this way. Our family also ran a hotel in our home county, so I deeply take sympathy on you and want you to know!!! PLEASE Definitely Check and Verify!!! Don’t make your guests feel like you don’t care especially for those overseas guests who go and do a short stay.
It is not the value of a box of chocolate matters, it is about housekeeping lady’s behavior and the ignorance of the receptionist!!! What if I left my other stuffs unlocked in the luggage on that evening?!? She probably would take something important on that luggage too.
Please You Should Check with the housekeeper and the receptionist on that day!!!!!!
The location is excellent and super convenient, literally just steps away from the lake! The facilities are complete, everything is spotlessly clean, and it's wonderfully quiet. The front desk service was also top-notch. This is definitely my go-to hotel for both business and leisure trips, especially since you can cook your own meals here.
The hotel boasts a great location, just a straight walk from the train station, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants in the vicinity.
While the hotel is a bit older, it doesn't feel dated, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Despite being street-facing, the windows offer excellent soundproofing.
My only complaint is that when the window is open, it's positioned too close to the bed, making it easy to accidentally hit and get scratched when walking by. Both my friend and I bumped into it, resulting in scratches and even drawing blood.
Very helpful staff, appreciate your kindness towards us when my daughter was ill and needed advice on where to seek medical care. Conveniently located next to train station and short walk to the quay.love the complimentary chocolate and drinks in the fridge. Nice room and spacious modern toilet.
Good location near Geneva Lake and from the airport. Train station and public transport very accessible. Room size adequate though bathroom configuration is a little strange. If you are driving, be aware the basement garage access is extremely tight and if you have a big car, good luck not getting it damage, like I did. Breakfast is good too. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, though it was on the high $ side. But all of Switzerland is $$ side.
Right next to Geneva train station, the location is unbeatable! It only takes 5 minutes to get to the platform to catch a train. Buses and trams are all around, making it super convenient to go anywhere. There's a Burger King right across the street, and McDonald's is just a quick walk across the road on the pedestrian street. They sent an email in advance for check-in info, but it seems they didn't send the Geneva City Card beforehand; you have to ask for it upon arrival. However, it didn't matter since I had a Swiss Travel Pass. The room was quite spacious and had a bathtub. It seemed to have central air conditioning, as it didn't feel hot at all even staying in the middle of summer in June. Overall, great value for money!
This hotel offers great value for money. It's quite close to the airport if you take the bus, though I'd suggest grabbing a taxi to the bus stop itself to save some time. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the size was perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a supermarket conveniently located downstairs.
The rooms in Europe are small, so I chose two apartment hotels. This time I brought my children with me. The rooms are bigger, more comfortable and more convenient. This hotel is very convenient to the Geneva train station, very close to the city center, and very quiet to sleep. There are service staff from 8 to 10 o'clock, and breakfast is delivered to the room. Overall, it is very good👍
The room was spotless, and the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes from the airport via a shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes. What's more, the hotel provided a complimentary public transport card, which saved us all our local travel expenses!

KKFManThe Ruby Claire Hotel is situated in central Geneva, very convenient to getting around especially for first time visitors. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Rafael, the staff who checked us in, recommended us a number of places of interest worth visiting, showed us the best way (transportation) to get around the city, and public transportation was free as offered by the hotel. Knowing that we’d be staying for three nights, he recommended us to take the “daily make up room service”, rather than the welcome drinks. Good advice! Self service coffee and teas were available for free from the “library” situated on each floor, 24/7. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserEverything is pretty decent - clean room with decent space and friendly front desk that speak perfect English. The location is not very ideal for tourists, but it has a bus stop just downstairs of the hotel.
GGuest UserWe booked a triple room but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite on the top (5th) floor. It featured a spacious outdoor terrace directly facing Lake Geneva, with panoramic views of Mont Blanc in the distance. If you're planning to book this hotel, I highly recommend requesting room 570 or 571. While other rooms on the 5th floor also have outdoor terraces, they offer only a side view of the lake. The facilities, however, were just average. The air conditioning, in particular, was very weak. Given the recent heatwave in Europe, the inadequate AC made our stay quite uncomfortable.
GGuest UserExcellent location for the Geneva stadium with a shopping mall next to the hotel with restaurants, supermarket and cinema/bowling alley. Great transport links to airport directly by bus within 35-40 min and into the centre.
Staff- friendly and efficient.
Toiletries provided but no lotion available.
Rooms clean and large enough.
Beds and pillows comfortable. Universal plug sockets and usb charging available in the room.
TtheminimeThe location is pretty convenient and accessible. It was 1 minute walk away from the tram station and 2 stops away from Cornavin Station.
Staffs were friendly and approachable at all times. Even though, I didn’t mention that it will be my birthday, they prepared a small amenity for me on my second day stay. Truly appreciate it!
Hotel and the room is clean. Very pleasing to the eyes.
Room came with universal socket which came in handy since my luggage was delayed and I do not have travel adapter with me.
All in all, I had a really pleasant stay.
Thank you N’vy!
BBenny Hon ChungThe hotel is in a central location which is only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the old town where the cathedral and all the big luxury brands can be found. There are a lot of restaurants in its vicinity. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and sound proofing is excellent. The staff are extremely polite, welcoming, and accomodating. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's check in time is 1500 but we were given a room when we arrived at 1210. The gentleman and lady at the reception counter even gave us a city map and took several minutes telling us where to go. The two reception girls in the afternoon also showed us their welcoming smiles every time they saw us. When we called to request to have a kettle the hotel gave us not just a kettle but a whole lot of instant coffee and tea bags. Wow what a surprise to receive such excellent service in a small 4 star hotel! I highly recommend it to all travellers who want to receive exceptional service.
