The place was in massive need of renovation, the drains were smelly and taking a shower in this bathroom made me feel dirtier than before the shower. Saying that, the location was very close to my bus pickup for the great wall. And the staff were absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and very helpful, they gave me a free room upgrade to a bigger room as I had so much luggage and they also kept a luggage for me for three days for free. If I was ranking based on the staff only, I would give them 5 starts.

Located near Tian'anmen Square and lots of restaurants and shopping. But because it's in the center of the city, there's lots of traffic if you decide to travel by taxi. The hotel was acceptable, but definitely could use some maintenance/cleaning. The carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There was a lot of hard water residue on the shower faucet. Standing in the shower creaked and bowed slightly. There's a 24hr ”restaurant,” but it's more fast food/snacks. *** This hotel has 3 names?? When I made the reservation on Trip.com the name was Yitingzhenshe Hotel. That's what's on my confirmation email. But at some point the name on Trip.com changed to Yard Hotel Beijing. BUT the name on the key card holder they gave me is Xin Mingji Hotel.

It was a wonderful experience staying at this hotel.  The rooms were exceptionally clean and the service was outstanding.  Night workers provided service above my expectations .

We had a perfect stay in this hotel with special atmosphere and great services. The restaurant in the hotel is also good. The only minor issue for someone with limited mobility might be the absence of elevators. However, the staff helps with carrying the luggage to and from the room, so it is not a big problem for the guests who are able to climb the stairs.

Excellent Stay at Huanyi Hotel I had a wonderful experience at the Huanyi Hotel. The service was exceptional — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, from the bathroom to the bedding. Overall, it’s a great place to stay — highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and great service!

It is good location and very helpful for us as foreigner. People can speak english very well at the receptions. Will comeback in next year around middle Nov, it is autumn season when the leaf is turning yellow and red. We stay at October this year so the color has not turning yellow yet. Weather is good. And breakfast has multi choices. 5 start for me

As a Muslim traveller, this hotel was generally a pleasant stay. There’s a 24/7 convenience store just across the road, which is very handy. The rooms are spacious with a massive TV, though it’s a bit disappointing that Netflix and YouTube are only available in Chinese. The bathroom and shower area are clean, though the open ceiling means there’s a slight water smell at times. Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I stayed here with my wife, and we both found the staff amazing. Breakfast was decent — not many halal options, but the kitchen staff were kind enough to make omelettes and accommodate us where possible. The “gym” is quite limited and not really a full gym setup, and water bottles are restricted. However, there’s a big working area, bike rentals nearby, and the location is fairly good overall. The restaurant next door serves excellent food with great quality. China basically majority if not all Green Chinese writing shop is usually halal

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It was a good base for us to explore beijing for 5 days. The hotel room had been renovated not long ago, so everything was new looking. Room was spacious, space for luggage, bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub. Room was serviced everyday, well clean by 女士郭海花. She was observant and added a personal touch by adding kids toothbrush sets for us. The hotel also has a gym with sufficient equipment, comes with an indoor pool too. Buffet was decent too, plenty of food. Subway: it was about 4mins walk to the elevator(beside adidas) down to jing yu hu tong station, line 8. Deng shi kou, line 5 can be reached too in 7mins. Location: hotel located at the end of the wang fu jing pedestrian street. Malls line the street. Apm mall in the middle, roughly a 12mins walk from apm mall to hotel. Overall, the hotel is value for money. But if require subway to be right below the hotel then this hotel might not be so suitable. If 5mins is ok then go for it!

I had an unexpected experience in Beijing — I was scammed by a taxi driver, and for a moment, my image of the city almost turned negative. Out of desperation, I even contacted my embassy, but they said they couldn’t help. I was completely lost. Then, as my last hope, I asked the hotel for help — and they went above and beyond. The staff didn’t hesitate for a second; they stepped in and helped me resolve everything. I was genuinely touched. Especially Ms. Su, the manager — she was incredibly kind and professional. I will never forget her help that night. This hotel is not just well-managed, but also perfect for travelers. It even has a washing machine, which is great for long-term stays, and the loft-style room adds a lovely, romantic touch. For short-term travelers, it’s also excellent — very comfortable, clean, and convenient. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and although the subway is a bit far, taxis are easy to get, and walking around is absolutely fine. If I ever come back to Beijing, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended — not just for the comfort, but for the people who truly care.

Location it’s pretty good, close to train station. The best experience in hotel, buffet for breakfast its worth. Laundry service is great. Friendly staff and very helpful. Stay definitely again.
